This does go to show how much the relative shelteredness of the protagonists in the books influences the story. Several of these scenes and lines are adapted from the books, but given that the Dragonborn is often played as an experienced killer who has seen a lot of the world, they seem odd because they have that assumption that the Dragonborn is Rand from the books (i.e., a young former sheep herder who is fresh out of his flyspeck village in the backend of nowhere).
The mods that added vanilla lines to creation club content are also impressive. I have the vanilla synth voice mods for Ghost of the Tribunal and Saints and Seducer Creation Club add-ons and I was impressed for the setting of Saint's and Seducers, but I have yet to see what GoTT voice mod is like. I hope there is a mod that can add voice dialog to the antagonist of Four Seasons Creation Club quest mod, where you recieve a letter from the courier to visit the dwemer ruin and then meet the antagonist pretending to be concerned of the Proffesser before finding him dead inside the main chamber. Then the antagonist would have you go through all the four chambers before he tries to kill you in the end or finding him dying saying that you have to kill the dwarven weather witch. That could add some depth to the Four Seasons CC Quest.
So the Moraine not entirely exploiting things, is somewhat book accurate. The first book is basically the main group (the three male main characters, two of the main female main characters, Moraine, Lan, and a bard named Tom). Later on in the books it’s happens when Moraine is out of her element. Edit: the Trolocks of the books are about the same size as in the mod, BUUTTTTT they are comprised of various animal parts. Ram’s hooves wolf’s snout and bull horns, all on one 9ft tall creature of pure muscle and malice. On Avenida’s veil, Aiel (the culture she is from) wear a black veil when they are prepared to take lives, among other cultural reasons. Also the Aes Sedai cloaks are colored according to their “Ajah” which is a sub faction, based off of focus. Moraine is of the blue ajah which focuses on understakeing causes for the benefit of all (the most true to the name’s translation, Aes Sedai means servant of all) On the other hand the members of the black ajah (dark friend Aes Sedai/evil Aes Sedai) all have red cloaks, which is overly representing the red ajah as evil (they are assholes tho) the red seek to protect the world from another world wide catastrophe, in the books the world was pretty much destroyed by men who could channel going mad because of the evil affecting the male portion of the magic system. (Sorry for that massive run on sentence)
Actually, the Black Ajah (followers of the Dark One who happen to be Aes Sedai) are found among any of the regular Ajah(s). There are Red Ajah members who are not Drakfriends, and Black Ajah members who are not Red Ajah. The Dark One is an equal opportunity employer.
0:17 - And it took Bungie 7 years to provide us at least a partial answer to that ;-p Doesn't give me much confidence for this mod's storytelling, but f it, I downloaded it, and will give it a shot, despite not knowing a single thing about the series.
Take her to the market area of White, and just stand and observe her interactions with the different people during the day. Great Lord, erm, that would be Great Lady, and I too got the feeling that I couldn't trust him... Yeah, that's where I uninstalled the mod. So from that point forward, it's all new to me. I am curious how George fairs in his foray to the end. I have to agree, it would be nice if the companion had at least something to say while in these dungeons.
On my female characters game, the Courier started appearing naked, wearing a hat and holding a dagger, just out of the blue. This hasn't happened at all since I left Helgen, but the last three times he ambushed me in town to deliver Letters of Inheritance, he was buck nekkid.
Regarding how well or poorly the Mod represents the Books: At this point, it's difficult to see how much is tweaked to fit Skyrim and how much is bastardization of the source material. The names, at least, are mostly right. Moiraine (the exposition dump character who tries to keep you and everyone else clueless) is pretty much (using broad strokes) consistent with her early treatment in the books. In the back of your copy of The Eye of the World, you will find a glossary which provides a pronunciation guide for most of the names: Aes Sedai (EYES se-DYE), Moiraine (mwah-RAIN - Note that the name is pronounced as though it is French. Moi is pronounced as the French word for "me" or get your Miss Piggy on [MOI?] and the accent is on the second syllable.) For some reason, the voicing for the mod seems to confuse the character, Moiraine, with a geological feature related to the aggregate scraped up and deposited by a glacier, moraine). Please understand, the two terms are not used interchangeably. Padan Fain (the fella who stabbed you with his dagger) is a much complex character than we have been shown by the mod. In the books, the dagger could be considered cursed (similar to a cursed weapon in D&D) and more than just cursed. I don't want to get too much into the whole story as you might want actually read the books someday. I think the easiest way to get them is getting e-book (kindle) versions from Amazon, although you can probably find some copies in a decent used bookstore. Egwene (the one wants to make you her Warder) is a childhood friend of the Main Character in the books. While no formal betrothal has taken place, it is generally understood in the home village (or hamlet) where Egwene and the MC start the story that the two will someday wed. I always saw Egwene as being an opportunist, but other readers may have a different take on her. I understand from the Mod description that Aviendha will befriend a trio of young women in White Run. It may very well be that she has reactions to a player's progress and dealings in a normal playthrough. I have often felt that you do a disservice to the Mod Creator when you showcase a mod in the abbreviated manner you use. I understand your thinking that the idea is show what the mod has to offer, but I think you rush matters so much that something the mod might offer gets lost without providing the sort of stimulation that comes from a full game playthrough. I can think of at least one mod with a companion/quest that included reactions for most regular events one encounters in a playthrough. It has been years since I last played Skyrim, and I don't recall the name. - sj
So i guess you know the books very well. Can you tell me why Aviendha is so clueless about men in the mod? (In the previous video she is surprised by facial hair like she has never seen a man) Was she raised in a only girl community or something like that in the books?
It would've been better having the mod use a differant world instead of using boring dwarven ruins. Too many mod authors kill us with those ad nauseum.
I am really enjoying watching your playthrough. The mod authors did a very nice job repurposing vanilla assets, the voice acting is great....and George is, well "George!" and getting better with every video. 😍 However, it's not a mod that I will try out. I enjoy quest mods and follower mods can be fun....but I really don't enjoy it when the two are combined. Plus it's badly written for female characters who aren't fanatical feminists.

This had become one of my favorite mods. Aviendha had some great interactions with NPC’s especially in Whiterun.

P.S. the Dragon Reborn is a bit of a later development, at the end of the first book/later in the second book.

@@slickjack2618 you mistook my statement, the mod (to my knowledge) only have red cloaks. The black Ajah is definitely made up of more than just red.
Best explanation of dragon breaks ever! 🤣😂
That Letter sounds like its from Gaunter o' Dimm XD.

Perfect timing for a new episode 👀
