Tried many follower mods, my favorites are Inigo and Auri. Auri voice actor is really talented and her singing in her questline is just beautiful imo. Great mods.
i've always enjoyed M'rissi('s Tails of Troubles), any follower mod that has a story where you stick it to the Thalmar is always a good one. Oh and M'rissi is cute.
I can't overstate the sheer delight I felt when I fired up a modlist and met Garm for the first time. I'm not sure if that mod is compatible with the modlist I favour, but I'm sure as hell going to try.
Really happy to see Xelzaz and Gabby representation. Xelzaz is my favorite in general and a fan art and Gabby is such a fun and natural flowing companion, easily a great second place for me. For companions that I like: Lucien - You will include him in the next, that’s just a given. He is probably the only “follower/sidekick” companion that works well. Glad that people are making NPCs actual companions but Lucien is just so well done. Yazakh - A Orc Bard. She is a really nice, albeit more limited, companion. She has some good quest dialogue and she isn’t awful for combat. Only issues is that she may be too chatty for people (albeit really in character) and her design sucks but there are some great overhauls for her. If you want a Orc then she is great. Oh and sadly no romance, update any day now… Nessa - She is pretty new and I haven’t had much interaction with her but I like her so far, granted I am using a replacer that makes her look like Casca from Berserk. Orpheus - I havent played with him much yet either but I love his concept. I really like Craftian's New Vegas works so im sure I'll love him. Plus we really need more evil characters. I hope you include some more villainous or dark grey characters. I am all for being the hero but I want to be friends with total ratbastards at times.
It's strange. I've actually never played Skyrim with a companion. I tried Inigo a long time ago but I didn't go far in the main quest, just his personal quest. Seeing this video now, I would like to try a companion or party playthrough. I want to watch other modded companion reviews/showcases now! Great video! Have a wonderful day!

I love inigo the first thing I do when starting a new playthrough is picking him up from riften. Not only is he helpful but he has cool lore and is also a good companion to have by your side

I just wish the friends and family of skeever's late author would finish the follower..... yeah I know its not gonna happen but still. I'd say Lielle rose of the north is a good follower too as is Sa'chill and bjorn. AS for Morgaine, I do have an issue with her. Namely with her and going to do the nightcaller temple and get the book and the face of terror with lord installed, bandits do not attack me a nymore, only way around this is to fight some bandits before. Mind you I also had lielle installed and in the party too, so it could be a combo between the 3 mods wanting to give me the offending offense. The only other issue with Morgaine is that her class is Neccromancer and the college of winterhold will tell you that you need to leave if you try to rest in your room with her in the party.
@ the “romance” seemed more believable than in SDA, so I completely agree with you. There were also some voice lines that weren’t changed here and there, so it was a bit jarring to hear the modded va, the original, and then back to the modded one right after the other.
Your game looks so good. Glad to be blessed with another video from you. 1. Xelzaz is my favorited over Inigo. Nothing against Inigo tho. But I like him more. 2. Morgaine. I love the VA, she does a great job with other followers...but Morgaine is kinda unique. There is also other big projects from her with other followers like Umbra or Serana, but they're too much for me (Also I like vanilla Serana). 3. Katana. Oh man. Love the voice and the modder and VA did such a great work with it, also the other followers as well, like Megara and the new one...:). I really like it. Megara is a great healer...but she also fight. Haven't tried the new updated (already on my list), but I tested the beta and was really nice. 4. Taliesin. Love Taliesin. Is pretty different from other followers on my list. I'm not an altmer enjoyer...but I like him. It's a good boi. 5. Gore. Gore is pretty nice. It's seems like a pal. It's your friend around. He seems "realistic" and fits in the game. I have other followers in my list, but those are my thoughs on your video
glad you mentioned Inigo, probably the best all around mod companion. but don't forget about Sofia, probably the second best mod companion out there. Recorder is underrated, also the guy who makes Xtudo mods has two of the girls you can download as followers. now their pretty vanilla just like the normal followers of the game, but i tried the one with the short hair.
My favorites are Serana (SDA), Kaidan (Immersive Features), Inigo, Lucien, Auri & Lydia (IFD) ~ & of those Serana, Kaidan & Inigo are my besties, my most played playthroughs are with either just Serana, or Serana & Inigo, or just Kaidan....! However if I was asked to just pick 1 to adventure in Skyrim with it will Always be Serana, no question nor doubt!!
I did try a few of these follower, as much I love my boys inigo and lucien, I truly love both Aniya and Mirai. Anyia's gentle behavior and sweet personality is so good it's contagious, plus now with her massively updated romance system, I think she has the best romance of all of them, plus when marrying her the entire scene is just so beautiful to watch, it makes you want it to be part of the vanilla game. On the other side, I love Mirai as well too. Unlike aniya, she actually does comment on some of your adventures and things you done, plus she truly couldve been a natural part of the Dragonborn dlc as that dlcs own unique follower. But, just like aniya you can go on romantic dates with her and she has a unique wedding of her own. I may play on Xbox but every now and then I make space to do a playthrough for each of them, these two girls truly deserve a happy ending
Mirai being romanceable is still to this day way too weird, she's basically a kid. Great video, guess i'll take a look into Morgaine and maybe Caesia for potential new followers for my game

I installed pretty much every voiced follower on Nexus but due to Skyrim plugin limitation it's hard to have all of them at once. Btw, what tree mods is used in this video?
I gave Sofia actual AI with the CHIM mod, then set her personality to be the same as what I remembered from the original mod. Now she's even more annoying than ever. 😁
Arissa is a good one. Shame the MA didn't port her to SE and players have to manually do it themselves. Which if you're not familiar with modding it can get annoying. I considered her the OG in terms of Skyrim CVFs one of the earlier follower mods that paved the way foward for follower mods in the future. Basically Arissa walks so followers like Inigo and Lucien can run
be warned if you download the Evangeline follower mod she will be naked and after talking to her once saying you appreciate her she will kiss you without warning or consent
Really breaks immersion for me to hear modern American accents in a fantasy setting. Kudos to the voice actors (it's not easy to get right) but I much prefer the accents that fit the world better, such as the brilliant Eilgird the Guard mod voice acting.
Yeah hoth and kaiden would be ones for you.I would stick with vanilla kaiden and not the add on they made as makes kaiden cringe but thier is new kaiden mod that changes the voice and fixes some stuff

I’ll stick with my choices which are Improved Follower Dialogue - Lydia Skadi - Standalone Follower and Lydia Replacer Serana Dialogue Add-On Seranaholic by rxkx22 - SSE version 1.8 Song of the Green (Auri Follower) Refined Auri - Song of the Green M'rissi's Tails of Troubles SE And of course Inigo cos it’s Inigo And various dialogue patches when they talk with each other That’s all I need and all I’ll ever need….Though I could be tempted by a Dogmeat or two
I don't like delicate, romantic followers, or those who tell long and boring stories, or those who have serious dialogues. That's why, for me, Morgana is the best. She's entertaining, different, with a bit of evil, and she makes fun of the character, everything and everyone. Iñigo is also very good, but I like female followers better. Mirai is charming, but I did her translation into Spanish, so I know all her dialogue and it's not funny.

I am fond of Inigo, Kaidan, Caesia and Taliesin myself. But do feel Kaidan is a bit op. I did download Val Serano but haven't gone to him yet.

Kaiden is probably the most detailed, and Hoth the most brutish, and Lucien is definitely not a brutal but interacts hilariously with both.

I don't like delicate, romantic followers, or those who tell long and boring stories, or those who have serious dialogues. That's why, for me, Morgana is the best. She's entertaining, different, with a bit of evil, and she makes fun of the character, everything and everyone.
Iñigo is also very good, but I like female followers better.
Mirai is charming, but I did her translation into Spanish, so I know all her dialogue and it's not funny.
How about porting some of these companions into starfield seeing as someone added the skyrim elder scrolls entire planet into starfield.

Does Anyone know which of these followers have Requiem patches? I know Inigo does and I use him/it currently. Any other followers on this list have Requiem patches? Thank you!
Is there any follower that would be a decent healer for the pc ?
Healers are hard to find, but Eris from the Light and Shade mod is pretty good, and Remiel is good too once you progress her story far enough.

Good job. I like some of those followers, some I don't. Here are some others in case they may have slipped past without you seeing them: Lucien, Kaidan 2 with the extended part, Shirley, there's also one that expands one of the NPCs, Erik the Slayer, you may want to poke around with.
