cant beat details. no matter the focal length on a mirrorless camera. Optical zoom will always be superior so electronic zoom. phone cameras in my humble opinion wont replace dslr or mirrorless cameras anytime soon. Sensor size matters.

@@ausatali3558 you don’t know much about photography bud. It’s impossible to have such a small 10x zoom lens on a smartphone, it’s always digital zoom
@Hari DJ I indeed don't know much about photography, but I learned lenses and optics and physics. I also do know a thing or two about phones. You should search about periscope zoom lenses on phones, it's very interesting. They put long zoom lense sideways in the phone and use prisms like periscopes to direct the light to the sensor.
The quality that you can get from this small phone sensor is insane 😮
actually the sensor is the worst part of thge camera. tehy should upgrade to a proper 48mp sensor

B is just naturally Sharper, but A, you can tell that Samsung's ai is artificially sharpening the imagine, I mean it looks good but just not as good as the somy
Yeah, and remember the sony is using a optical zoom which beats digital zoom on ANY smartphone
@@GE1463 the Samsung also has 2 optical zoom lenses, a 3x and a 10x but beyond 10x it's just digital so not that good

Bro there's no competition between a full frame camera sensor and a tiny 1/1.3 inches sensor..
And we all know the full frame camera will beat that tiny sensor in every detail possible if you match the aperture..

Technically the s22 ultras 10x lens is only 1/4.0 inch and the sony used crop mode so it's APS-C, smaller than full frame.
Sony cameras have separation with layers but samsung does it all in one
I really want to buy the S23U with that Freewell accessories just to start photography as a hobby, without paying an arm and kidney for a DSLR, here is Brazil both are expensive af tho haha
B is clearly better. But the fact that we are even comparing the two tells me who the winner is. It's like comparing a sports car to a minivan around a race track. The sport car wins but it's embarrassing that the minivan is even in competition.

The thing is, its a bad comparison!
Why? Because the settings on the camera are bad! Why are you on 1/200 shutter speed? Do you record in 100fps?! Youre on 50 btw…
Why are you filming with a open lens? 2.8? Great focus field, right?
Oh btw focus.. why are you in AF-C mode? Isnt your cam on a tripod and not moving?
And then youre on iso500. For what reason? You even habe native iso on every good camera which kills all noise! Even on your phone your on iso160.
Actually there are a lot of questions. And im not a pro or whatever, but this seems quite wrong!
Also the lens your using could be (the gm2 is) parfocal. So youre lens should be great for filming.
One last thing. Try to shoot in s-log with youre phone, or in raw.

Having that type of power in the size of your palm, while yes the quality of a true camera will never be beaten, but thinking about it enough, having almost the same quality while being a freaking calendar/computer/calculator/telephone/mp4/flashlight/notebook/alarmclock/etc. in one small package and being less than half the price is still very much something.

I'm an owner of S23 Ultra and Sony a7iii.
There's no story: Sony 200mm it's much better in details and sharpness..this is optical, baby, IA can't bet the physics of light...however the S23 zoom is very impressive!!
But it can in the following years
S23U is optical too, but sensor is very small(
@@dmitrii_cloptical zoom of s23 is very short and it's very obvious with that small body. Some of its zoom are made by croping. Zoom capabilities of conventional cameras are pure optical, you can see it in its lenght.

Sony or any camera system will always be better fullstop there's no comparison really just cool the s23u can even zoom that far and have decent quality

As a photo comparison, this video is useless. Take two photos in good weather conditions. Compare the images in a good photo software program that allows you to zoom in.

It is not little difference. It always defend on what you are shooting at. Usually, depth of field do not matter in landscapes photography. But try to use that phone in sports and wildlife photog, then you will see the essence of expensive cameras and lenses.

If you are taking photos of landscapes and other subjects without foreground/background reference, you wont see any difference. Morelikely, with that hazy atmosphere, photo from that s23 will be sharper because of ai while the real camera will show you what exactly it looks like in real life.
