Great idea doing a drivetrain swap and the interior looks amazing !! The craftsmanship on the interior is impeccably done; can't wait to see the full video.

The attention to detail on this is something I’ve not seen done before. Lots of swaps but not where all the 2019 features work. Even the doors lock when you cross that mph threshold when driving!!

Wow beautiful car, awesome job retrofitting that interior. It’s trippy seeing the s550 interior in a Foxbody. Best of both worlds, that car must be a rocket with the light weight of the Fox and the coyote with a 10r80, a dream car for a lot of people. 😳🤟🏻👍🏻

I always loved this Cobra/Mustang model! Subtle, but cooler than its older brother!! I bought a 1988 5.0 GT convertible w/5 spd. transmission during my junior year in high school!! Originally it was a maroon color, with grey cloth seats and a black top. It was stolen within a few months of me buying it, so when it was recovered my insurance company paid it off and I kept it!! I added a Saleen rear wing, painted it a deep forest green metallic, added chrome racing wheels and ALSO BOUGHT a set of triple gold 14x7 Daytons with white walls , that I’d switch them out with once in a while!! Awesome car! I went through sooo many cars while I was still in high school!

Since the steering is so sensitive I usually put it in comfort steering mode that slightly reduces that tendency to over correct.. It’s not just that the car has potential to be dangerous but I’m sure a ton of accidents were caused by over correcting while driving fast into a curve!! I’m sure the Gen 3 coyote would be rather potent and scary in the weee little Fox Body!!

Looked awesome!! Totally addressing the sore spot of those cars. The ultra lame 80’s interiors. Maybe not lame but very very plain and uncomfortable!! Don’t know how comfortable the Recaro seats are but the leather/alcantara seats are very very comfortable!! My hip nor my knee hurt on longer trips.. Luxury feel plus heated and cooled seats.. Not sticky in the summer or freezing cold in the winter and if your back hurts the heat feels great!!

Not gonna lie, I’m a sucker for a 1988-1992 1LE. My uncle had an 86 Trans Am Firebird. My first experience with a full burnout was in that car at a very young age. If they had only put a manual behind the 5.7/350 motors. The 93 Camaro’s ran circles around the Mustang stock to stock. Especially from 94-98. Then the SS models were beasts. I had a friend highly modify a 99 SS to street race. It was bad donkey!!

I purchased a 1993 Ford SVT Mustang Cobra brand new in February 1994. From John Bleakley Ford outside of Atlanta. It had every option except for the moonroof and the Chrome rims. I believe it's the only Mustang ever produced with 4 lug 17-in rims. And I don't believe that cruise control was an option you could get on the 93 Cobra for some reason. It's a badass ride I wish I still had mine. LOL. On a side note John Bleakley Ford had 2 1993 Ford Mustang Saleen SA/10's. One of them was for sale on the showroom floor and the other one was John bleakley's. Steve Saleen only made 10 anniversary 1993 SA/10s that year. And I still remember what the window sticker on that car was $54,000

Good memory. Our red 1990 Saleen is a Bleakley Ford Impressor. Check out the videos there. And Saleen only built 9 SA10’s. We found and completed chassis 04 of that run of cars. They are VIN sequential. Check out our other Vids on the SA10’s and the “Almost 4” build.
Bleakley was the place to go to in the late 80’s and early 90’s for Ford Motorsport and Mustang parts.

@@PuristMotorsports I will definitely check those out and yes Bleakley was the place to go high performance specialty Fords. I wonder what happened to John Bleakley's sa-10.. when I seen it it was in the service Bay having something done to it at the dealership. And Mr Rainwater my salesman I believe that was his last name it was very unique. Kind of alluded to the fact that they were having a hard time getting rid of the one that was on the showroom floor partly because the new 94 Mustang was already out at that time that's why I got a 93 cobra I seen one in person and wasn't impressed. So I was scrambling all over the southeast trying to find a 93 Mustang Cobra. And the only reason that one was available was because they had a tent sale out in front of John Bleakley and thunderstorm blew up and the wind caught one of the tents and a metal post caught the roof line and scratched it from the roof all the way down the hatch and they had to repaint it and they also had to disclose it when they sold it and I think a lot of people had passed on it because of that. In fact they didn't tell me until I was about to sign my name on the contract but that was the only one I could find around and I fell in love with it when I seen it so at that point I couldn't have backed out if I wanted to. Lol. I still remember what the keychain from John Bleakley Ford looked like it was a shamrock.. thanks for the conversation take care and have a good one and I'll check out those videos
