Thank you for posting this. I'm trying to get the piano part down perfectly (it sounds simple, but the syncopation is quite unusual) and this helps immensely.
@@elvy.jean1980 no joke, I just did my first play along two minutes ago that was basically perfect. Finally. I don’t want to tell you how long it took me to nail it down (I’m a guitar player and drummer and the piano doesn’t come naturally to me). Your video was the last piece I needed. I was struggling with the last third of the song because the strings overpower Thom’s piano part. I couldn’t tell if I was getting it right. It’s such an interesting song. I’ve heard it hundreds of times since 2001 and had no idea it was so rhythmically sophisticated. Thom/Jonny/Radiohead just keep on giving. Oh, and I’m quite familiar with David Bennet Piano! He’s been one of my go-to theory teachers for a few years now. He’s great. Thanks again!
@@Labyrinth1010 You welcome. Glad your quest found its closure. Radiohead are amazing to bring emotions and beauty in the most adventurous rythm and harmonies. It may not be an overstatement to say it's the best band in activity by far. Allow me to advertise my own music : www.elvyjean.be. "songs for june" on streaming services. Radiohead was a big influence.
One of the best songs ever written
Wow, that is superb. One of my favourite Radiohead songs
Pretty sure this is from Radiohead's appearance on BBC Radio 1's Mark & Lard show in 2001 prior to the band performing live in Verona
I remember tuning in for that too.
Beautyfull
