I wish ecamm had a way to Auto populate comments on the screen in a little window for 5-10 seconds per comment

When livestreaming on UA-cam, will it show which comments are from members and which are superchats?
There really needs to be a way to block someone who's spamming your comment section.

Don't know if it is an update or it isn't known, you CAN put a timer on the comments in the GENERAL area. Plus you can click the same comment again and it will be removed from the screen. My guess is these have been updates to the program since this video was made.
It Would be nice to actually see what is shown on the live screen. Are the likes and viewer count shown?

As a host, can I add my own comment to the broadcast live so that I can send people a link for example?
Hi Adrian, does this feature only work if you are doing a single platform live stream? Or will work to say if I were to simulcast via restream.io?
I assume you can decide and place the comments BEFORE the broadcast starts ?

Only my comments show up in comments on facebook live, not the reactions from others on facebook. Is it a setting i need to change...

Please please please ecamm... give us a keyboard shortcut or something to be able to remove the comments from the screen... I HATE having to find the little x while i'm live... very frustrating.
Mitch Aunger I’ve suggested it and even a timer for comment so they disappear themselves after a few seconds. Have a word with Glen 😉
Guys this is the comments from a facebook group sorry for dumb question but does it work the same for a FB Page (not group) I am talking about where Adrian talks about permissions at time stamp about 40 secs in. I guess my real question is what does a new visitor to the live stream see on a page at the time of the Live stream and what do they need to do about to get their comments working .... hopefully nothing
It's pity you can't see comments when streaming with a Stream Key. Are you planning on allowing it any time soon?

This video is useless. I want to be able to access comments made on UA-cam. The most common video platform and it is useless for UA-cam. I am not going to get permission from every person who posts when I’m streaming on UA-cam. Crazy.
I just went live for a test run and the person who submitted a comment but it did not come through to me. In addition to that I have me resolution settings in Ecamm set at 1080p but yet the live video only give me the option of 144p, 240p 360p,480p and 720p. Why isnt it giving me 1080p when I have it set for 1080p in Ecamm?
How can we make the style of the way the comment looks a template. they come in looking different?

I need help. Every time I go live on my own personal Facebook page, I can never see the comments that come in. I went live on FB and received 32 comments but none of them showed up while I was streaming live. Once I stopped the live stream I went back to view the replay all 32 comments showed up. These comment were all made the first 10 minutes of my stream. I had streamed for 30 minutes. Why cant I see the comments as they come in while I was live?
Ecamm doesn't have a preview screen that yo can see what and where the comment is before you go live with it. So if i take one and set the color and placement on the screen does it stay there all the time, even when I start a new live?
My live Ecamm streams into my UA-cam channel don't show the SuperChat $. What am I missing? Thank you!

Hi there, Adrian. Is it possible to format the look and feel of the comments before starting a livestream or do you need to do it on the fly (as you did here)? Many thanks in advance!
This is my question as well. When my company switches to the AMA section of our livestream I dont want us to be futzing about formatting things while live.
If I use Restream.io and it’s chat app it will aggregate all comments from various sources. Does Ecamm aggregate the same comments in it’s comments window or should i continue to use restream’s app?

This "view comments" feature is not available for UA-cam live streaming, correct?

Great Videos. I am a performer. I want to be be able to invite people to watch an interactive show.The show would be private. How do I grant permission? How do I send invites? Can I see everyone who is signed in, like on zoom?

Adrian, so what I want this to do is to show all of the comments on the screen together while the live stream is going on… Will Ecamm allow me to show ALL THE COMMENTS on the screen or only ONE AT A TIME MANUALLY?
I already have the trial and M using it against OBS. OBS will allow me to put the entire comments string in the video. Meaning everybody’s comments all at one. That’s what I want my video to do. Will Ecamm allow me to do the same?
@@LivePDOfficerInterviews not as an over lay no, it would be fussy turning them on and off and personally I only want to bring certain comments on as thats a bit scary letting anything come on uncensored. There's potentially a widget from streamlabs but if you're happy with OBS and it's working this may be the first time i suggest staying with that.
Adrian Salisbury Adrian, I want to tell you first of all I really like the way Ecamm works. However, to not be able to add all of the comments to the screen is a dealbreaker for me. I’ve seen too many videos that have it and for my audience it is essential. All you need is a couple of moderators and they get rid of any trashy comments. I hope Ecamm add this feature sometime. It is a very valuable tool for many people who are doing Livestreams. Not to even have this option I think is curious when you have such a great package everywhere else.

I can’t get to that point. My comment section doesn’t look like that. So I still can’t see comments when I’m live. I have to use my phone to see what people are saying.🤷🏿♀️

Hey Andrian! Do you have a video showing how to have the host talk over a video that is playing...like you see so many youtubers doing...commenting or reacting to videos (while monitoring with headphones)? My two hosts are using the Zoom L-8 mixer into ecamm live via our mac, but we are getting a slight echo when the sound from the video outputs back to a channel on the Zoom board (for the hosts to monitor/hear) because when they monitor the video in their headphones the Zoom is sending that sound back to my mac, repeating the sound. Notice how Jimmy and Nicole's voices (not the podcast hosts) are echoing a bit. It's not as obvious with speech, but very obvious if my hosts talk over a song. thanx.
Can you receive comments from both UA-cam and Facebook at the same time?
