nice. yea i'm hoping to do a video of mine tomorrow. got a y cable to setup a 5.2 vtx on the tracker and the DK
FYI all MFD trackers work that way, they don't respond until you are 20 to 30 meters away from them. This is written into the code. As you said there is no point in tracking something that close.

Excellent ! This is what I want. I got the Clearview , Will get my crossbow soon. Want to track RSSI so I don't need a $50 module in all 23 of my rigs. Using the taranis x9d plus. Is it capable ?

what module is versatile or do you recommend to use with the crossbow ?
All that TBS crossfire stuff is completely extinct in the US and people are asking double for used ones. So that's probably out of the question. Cheers and stay healthy 💪
The mfd crossbow is not an rssi tracker.
It is a gps based tracker.
You will need at a minimum a gps module in the aircraft.

@@RTRCTV yes sir they are gone quickly. All shops I've looked at are the same except banggood. I don't trust that I'll get my order from banggood. I already have Soo much invested i can't do the TBS thing. That's why when you said "RSSI TRACKER" I was under the impression I could get away with no module.
So now ... GPS or osd module ? Which one is going to be easier to make work and cheap enough to put one on 3 or 4 quads ? And I'll leave you alone for a while , LOL. I'm sorry to bug you man but I'm a 30 year nitro onroad car guy. This is all Greek to me. Maybe a video on the quadside installation of of the modules with more tips from the master ? Rip it, gap it and try not to snap it !

Hey... No need
When you hit the 'home' button it will store the location of the aircraft as the home GPS location.
Keep the model next to the tracker.. Press home.. And you are hood to go.

Hi Rob today I went out to test the tracker again and axis "Y" don't work and change the baro to gps on tracker, everything works fine the "Y" is the only problem what I have to do??
By Y axis. I assume you mean vertical /up down.
I would guess you did not calibrate the pitch axis.
You need to scroll up to set the 90 degree /vertical position.
And down to select the level position.
No idea why it's not documented!

Hello, I have a Taranis x9d plus with a crossfire lite and a 7 inch with gps. how do I set that up to work? another question, If I was to get a plane what hardware would i need in the plane to make it work with the MFD mini Crossbow AAT.

No quick fix I am afraid.
Only way will be to get a serial level invertor and an hc05/hc06 wired into the radio.. Then rely on a link that way.
If you had the Full-size xfire.. Would be super easy :)
Check the mfd mini crossbow group on Facebook. Believe somebody has recently done similar to what you are after.

Hello. I acquired the crossbow mini with the TeleflyTiny OSD. I've managed to get it all to work (receiving Vlink and GPS sats) but am having a bear of a time with one issue: The moment I turn on my fpv camera (Runcam Swift 2 and also test Runcam 2) the crossbow loses vlink and all gps. I'm feeding it all through a Matek F-405 Wing flight controller running ArduPilot. Has anyone experienced this issue with losing the link the moment you turn on the fpv camera? With just the FC OSD and no camera picture, it all works perfectly. I would appreciate anyone's assistance.
I found the telefly to be very problematic.
Many cameras simply cause problems.. No idea why!
Area to look would be a pal/ntsc miss match.ij the end.. I went the MAVLINK wiry crossfire route. Much more reliable.
Rob Thomson FPV thank you for your response...greatly appreciate it. As a last resort, I’ll take a look at the ntsc settings before going the Mavlink route. I’ve been looking thru the menu setting in osd and crossbow mini...but not seeing where ntsc/pal settings are located. Would you be able to point me to the right direction? Make sure your camera, osd & telefly are all using same mode.

@@RTRCTV After some testing it appears I've found the culprit. I've tested other frequencies and found some interesting results: The corssbow mini works with 2.4 and 5.8 but it doesn't seem to work with my 1.3ghz system. Moreover, I've noticed it achieves a solid 100% dlink with 5.8 and it varies with 2.4. Love to hear your thoughts. What frequency are you using on your end?

I assume the unit has or takes its own GPS input.. or maybe you zero at launch via the model??
You press 'home' on the unit once you have a valid gps lock from the model.

@@RTRCTV is it also possible to link up it's own gps aditionally to the bluetooth module at the same time so it can set the home point with it's own gps?
i've read with the new FW you can set baudrates and stuff and you can hook up the gps on both ports.......just need to be careful with the inputs of the connector cuz they are different
@@RewindFPV to do this you would need to put the Bluetooth on the right hand connector, and the gps on the left hand connector.
Downside is wiring it up is not as easy!
