    I'm not familiar with this sport. However, I am amazed by how patiently Ryan moves. He slowly progresses from move to move. It's like watching a snake constrict a deer.

    Gordon has a style that is absolutely technic. I watched this match so impressed with his calm and with the soberly and conscience he has lead the fight to the submission. It was nothing more than amazing.

    GR has figured out the human movement, and how to play chess with monsters, I just wish someone would come up against him with some explosive energy, to test that quiet, flowing river of death he's created. That being said, it's still amazing to watch him control strong humans ^^

      @@LOLLYPOPPE I didn't say he lost, Gordon won the match. It's just funny to claim he's leagues above everyone when his last match he won by overtime ride time and got his foot broken. Last I checked most people don't think getting your foot broken and winning via overtime ride time with no meaningful submission attempts is a dominant win. Other than that match yeah I agree he's generally a lot better than everyone.
      There's a reason Gordon has been on social media spazzing out after that match saying he's going to sleep on floors, because he knows he got hurt in that match and didn't make it look easy.

      Agreed. Imo it should be a point deduction or similar if the guy goes to the ground alone. If it happens after trying to pull someone down etc that's different.
      Especially annoying is when these guys get into MMA fight and spend the entire match on their ass.

      You definitly can choke with one arm, but even if you're not strong enough to do that, that arm is so deep no hand fighting is pulling it out, he's gonna get that second arm in soon enough

      It’s the technique that danaher uses, and teaches his students (Ryan) you hug the shoulder walking your way across the chin to get under it, highly effective and you can get it real tight!

    Ryan makes his opponents look useless as if they're not trying, but the opponent is defending several things at once, it's like playing chess with someone who's making two moves at a time. If you pay too much attention to what he's doing with your arm you will fail to defend what he's doing with your neck and if you give all your attention to defending your neck he will be trapping a limb and tying you up like a pretzel !

    GR fighting you don't need to put on slow motion because do way he fights is so elegant and easy to see, that make think how easy is grappling 😮😮.. I don't think there is someone who could beating him..maybe John Jones?

    The back control is insane, and he is heavy on his opponents. Wear your ass out control. Just the fact that you have to carry him on your back and chest for that long, he cooks the guys . Then goes for the kill.

    5:52, Jussila just gives up his arm. that was really strange. there is literally no reason his arm should be down by his side like that. Then doesn't even attempt to defend the choke. wow. did he just give up?

      looked like he moved his arm to try to fight off the body triangle, and then got caught. yeah he cant fight the choke when both arms are trapped lol

      it was an attempt to brush off the hook or prevent the body triangle - sort of how dustin managed to pull it of vs chandler. It's a gross miscalcuslation considering the arm trap back attack system had been in Gordon's bag for years by now
