Nothing wrong with aspiring to that - the bit they forget is there's a long process to get there. They want the lifestyle that a 300K salary brings but not interested in doing the work that represents £300K a year. Wanting a 300K job or 300k lifestyle are two subtly different things.

Hi Caleb! I am a houseplant enthusiast. The palm that is behind the guest doesn't look too hot - might be spider mites or lack of natural light. I would recommend a snake plant, a peace lily, or an agleonaema for your low light office - they do really well with some plant lights on them and they'll grow beautifully! you also could get a long pothos to hang from the ceiling behind the guest if you want something as a nice backdrop.
To add to this, majesty palms are notoriously hard to keep indoors without access to full sun, a cat or bamboo palm would be a much better palm option, though a little more expensive up front.
semi-related. i have two plants in my office - a rubber tree and a golden pothos vine. both see inside light only. every three months i have to rotate the rubber tree because it keeps growing to cover my desk (despite the fact that the tree directly under the lights). i also have to rewrap the pothos as it keeps growing out the door one plant is trying to shelter me, the other one is trying to GTFO. What do they know about my office that i don’t?

That's not real life. I didn't buy a house till age 40. I STILL haven't gotten anywhere close to $75K a year.
Am I the only one who caught her saying she ripped the carpet out of her bedroom in a house that’s not hers “during a manic episode”? If she’s actually bipolar and she’s not medicated, then her behavior, spending, and all the car accidents make SO much sense. If she is bipolar, I hope she’s getting help for it.
Well she also admits she doesn't know anything about money. So she really can't judge what is ok money and what isn't. $70k does not feel like OK money to be making when you owe $70k to a dozen other companies.
The Tik tok generation has a very strange view on money. Probably because they constantly watch all of these multi millionaire influencers. They’re completely unrealistic.
As an insurance agent I died when she said she's a good driver while also admitting to totaling multiple cars in a two year span. Hydroplaning and even hitting elk are usually preventable accidents. It's mindblowing she won't give up her Jaguar (that doesn't even look that cool) when she's probably going to wreck that too
So please tell me how she gets to have low insurance rates (unless she’s lying) while others like us who have super clean records, no claims, pay double what she pays. Doesn’t make sense
If you're gonna be dumb and get a loan on a Jag way outside of what you should be driving, at least get an F-Type or something. An F-Pace just makes you look like a suburban mom in middle management with 2.5 kids who whines about the pink Stanley cup shortage.
The only way possible if she's telling the truth about it is that it's on bare minimum insurance which ONLY covers other people if she does get in an accident. If any damages at all happens to her car nothing is covered on it
This is a demonstrated lack of cognitive function, risk assessment, and understanding of cause and effect that would make someone a liability to employ. I would fire her.
Impossible to know for sure without actually seeing it, but I did wonder the same thing. Sometimes a person can be an expert at one particular skill and a dunce at everything else, but I have doubts.
Also, it's not "just the roads". I live in Oklahoma and probably put around 2,000 miles on my car a month for work. The roads are bad, BUT there are always 2 lane highways and speeding and the inability to merge is pretty bad. 5 accidents in under 2 years is 100% her fault.
My last car accident was in 2010 and I've driven about 250,000 miles since then. There's no reason someone should be getting in accidents that frequently.

This girl doesn't understand what working towards something means. Instant gratification is the only reason why she is where she's at. Lifestyle addiction is a real thing.
It’s even more basic, she doesn’t even understand how to choose between two things. I wish Caleb had at least tried to ask “when you eat at a restaurant, don’t you pick the one thing you want the most rather than order everything?” Or “when you care for a patient or do triage, isn’t there a list of highest priority to least priority actions you need to do?” She can’t even conceive of the concept of needing to choose between multiple options.
My mom always told me if you don't have the cash to buy it, then you can't afford it. The only thing acceptable to take a loan out on is a house (with at least 20% down). The biggest thing people waste money on is cars. Just because you make $75k/year doesn't mean you can afford a luxury car, if the money is not in your account then you can't afford it. Your first car out of school shouldn't be over $25k, people need to understand needs vs. wants.
Your mom was right! But even $25k is maybe too much for a first car out of school. I paid 8500$ in 2008 for my first "out of school" car, kept it 5 years, sold it 4500$ and buy another car in 2013 for 18k$, kept it 7 years and sold it for 6000$ in 2020. Bought my first brand new car in 2020 (at 37 yo) for 35k$... But my house is now paid off! ;-)
Wrecked and hydroplaned multiple times with no intention of becoming a better driver, sounds to me that she's into Jaguars entirely for her image and perception to others. I'm a car/motorcycle junky and there is no way I would have that amount of brand loyalty while being in debt.
A lot of pretty girls today live in social media which skewes their idea of the real world. Like 75k at 20yo being bad. If you spend all day on social media, yeah, it will seem bad.
I can't even imagine thinking about buying a new car every couple years because they "made upgrades" to it. Doing that with phones is ridiculous enough.
Yeah. It’s going to cut majorly into the rest of your lifestyle. If you /can/ afford that, though, that’s what leases are for. If you’re not keeping a car long enough to pay it off, just get a lease for a lower payment
For real. I normally buy 0-3 year old luxury vehicles, then pay them off in 3-4 years and keep them for another 6-7 years with no payments. I also keep phones for like 5-6 years. Vehicles and phones are just money pits.
It's hilarious when people buy a Mercedes S class that costs >$100K brand new , maintenence service and insurance costs are high and after 10 years scratch their heads and wonder while their Benz is worth 20K as opposed to a Toyota that retains it's value after long period of time.

@hspd that's surprising, as the easiest way to get married is to actually act like a wife - a girlfriend is an audition for the role of wife. The only mistake is doing it for the wrong person.

When everything is a priority, nothing is a priority.

@@jacobpierce2880you must not know any nurses 😂
This girl doesn't understand what working towards something means. Instant gratification is the only reason why she is where she's at. Lifestyle addiction is a real thing.
It’s even more basic, she doesn’t even understand how to choose between two things. I wish Caleb had at least tried to ask “when you eat at a restaurant, don’t you pick the one thing you want the most rather than order everything?” Or “when you care for a patient or do triage, isn’t there a list of highest priority to least priority actions you need to do?” She can’t even conceive of the concept of needing to choose between multiple options.
Wow. I thought I was dumb at 20. Turns out I'm a genius!
I am no longer scared of the upperclassmen at my college. At least they didn’t get withdrawn from multiple others, though
Your first car out of school shouldn't be over $25k, people need to understand needs vs. wants.
Your mom was mostly right
Your mom was right! But my house is now paid off! ;-)

yup, she's as delusional as they come.
A lot of pretty girls today live in social media which skewes their idea of the real world. Like 75k at 20yo being bad. If you spend all day on social media, yeah, it will seem bad.

She not even acting like a wife she a full blown sugar mama 😭 but true

@@lyndonbauer1703 Yup!
@hspd that's surprising, as the easiest way to get married is to actually act like a wife - a girlfriend is an audition for the role of wife.
The only mistake is doing it for the wrong person.
Act like a wife for 3-6 months. If you don’t get the rock by then HE’S WASTING YOUR TIME. Once you get that rock you better get married within the year. Don’t let them “let’s save up” you. Do a cheap wedding. Backyard BBQ it with your friends and family within you CASH means. You aren’t royalty (nobody truly cares about your wedding enough to think about it on their deathbed) and if saving really matters to him then he’d prefer those savings to go towards a house ANYWAY.

All that to say, don’t let a man waste 1-2 years of your life. If they love you and are having s£x with you… what’s the hold up?
ALSO, make sure he’s auditioning to be a husband! Make sure he’s not wanting a mother wife. Make sure he’s ready to be a man and a father if that’s the course y’all want to go. Make sure he’s a responsible with his choices.💕
