Thanks for the awesome review! I have a few questions for you: 1. Are you planning to review the non-pro model soon and compare it with the pro version? 2. Can you check how Huawei Health works with Strava? I've found that non-GPS activities like treadmill runs don't sync (unlike Garmin). 3. I noticed some metrics, like running ability, might not be as accurate as Garmin's. Does Huawei use past personal running data for calculations, or it's just a comparison with generic data? 4. How accurate is the VO2Max estimation? Did you find a big difference between this model and mid-range ones? Thanks again for your thorough review! Looking forward to hearing your thoughts on these points.
Great review thanks. I'm looking at this as a replacement for my fenix 6x pro. I have the following questions. 1. Am i able to customise interval runs? 2. What's the app ui like? Is it informative and how does it compare to Garmin? 3. Does it sync with say strava? 4. Are there any benefits if i use a huawei phone or tablet?
Hello, these watches are not comparable to garmin watches, especially to fenix series like 7,7 pro or 8...garmin is on advanced level. Even forerunner 965. But also they are more expensive of course.
Thanks for the review! Re export of HR data - I'm able to get workout data from Huawei to Strava (you need to enable a special toggle in strava's privacy section to get HR data there and not only location) and from Strava it's easy to get HR data to compare with a chest strap. Could be useful for your future reviews :-)
I bought GT5PRO and TRex3. Trex is still on my wrist. Why? Better battery, I had some problems with iPhone connection with Huawei and TRex has better strength workout profile where I can check when my sets go and stop or know manny reps I have. It’s missing in GT5PRO. And I like bigger watches too:)
How was your experience with gt5 pro? Is it a good watch like Trex 3, or Trex 3 is a better watch? Im asking cause I use Android so I wont have this problem with gt5
Great review in general, but I can't agree with the HR accuracy analysis - I have a Huawei watch and it might get the average HR most of the times, but its because its super laggy and HR stays around in the middle. Also the max HR is most of the time not even in the same place, buts mostly random. Also 20bpm are missing all the time as you can see in the shared graphs. Its okish HR monitor, but miles behind Apple unfortunately.
@@user-ij8no5zw6u-I have the GT3 and compared it to Garmin (Fenix 7 Pro and Instinct 2X) and the HR is spot on. Same data on both. Barely a beat difference.
@@MrSeedi76 That's because Garmin is not better :) I've had many of them as well. Huawei is hair bit batter than Garmin v4 sensor and a hair worse than v5.
Thanks a lot for the very nice review. I have seen another interesting review here : ua-cam.com/video/Hc0d1REpFbw/v-deo.html . Go to minute 18 where it speaks about the maps. It seems, even the PRO version does not have trails in the maps. There are contour lines, but nothing more which seems pretty dissapointing. Accuracy in forest is not as good as others as you point.
good review, can i ask? do you prefer this gt 5 pro or suunto race s? i hope you will answered this comment. thank you 🙏

Great review
Does the pro offer tennis tracking
No training analytics on this watch. Thank you for your work.
Very good review! thank you
Just got this on sale with a bonus fit 3 as a free gift. I bought this to replace my current fit 3 nylon strap. So now I've ended up with 3 watches 😂
Nice! Now compare these to T-Rex 3 in terms of accuracy.

trex3 ftw =)
Does it count reps?

How to use outdoor maps without phone, is it possible ?
I did a trail run in dense tropical jungle hill with up to 400 elevation. It records 7. 4km instead the real 10.6km
I have a Huawei Fit 3 it's good. Please share the Huawei GT5 Pro when not using it
What about the smartwatch features? Can you answer whatsapp calls?

What Huawei Watch do you have?
@@MarcoPolo82 GT3 and Watch 4.
Get Amazfit Balance. Max and Avg HR are identical to the HR10 nearly every time.

Hey, I have a wrist circumference of 185 mm.
@GermanAccentReviews-xn9yx thanks
i do workout with 400kcal burn calories. but on the move calories ring only capture 355kcal. why?
There is no way you want to buy Chinese company's watch with all that information going to Chinese mainland. I dont care how good the watch is.
You're talking as if samsung, apple, and google aint talking all your data as well 💀💀
@@theymon Sure They take data but you know what they take your meta data without identifying info. Chinese company? Forget about it.
