Just bought it today. My first ever smart watch and love it. it can easily connect with my samsung phone since its android. good accuracy on heart rate and ecg. i hope they release more watch strap in the future. the free gift strap doesn't has a gap and spring doesn work... they need to make more variety of strap.
Neither the GT5 or the Huawei Health app can tell me my PB times for any distance aside from my best 1km pace. I love using it for training but I wouldn't recommend it to anyone trying to beat their previous run times. It's been a common complaint on Huawei forums for about 6 years. I can sync to Strava but if I run a 5k Parkrun and my GT5 says 5.01km, Strava will often show 4.9 and the PB won't show up there either.
Does the watch alone have GPS capability. In other words if I am hiking will the watch leave a track or breadcrumbs on the screen so I can follow the track back to my destination. Or does it require an app on a cell phone to do this.
I own a GT5 Pro, and it does have a standalone gps for activities. Before using the feature, make sure that you download the needed map resources on the app for you to maximize its usage.
@@TheUnknown-gv6xp I guess huawei haven't solved the problem even with their new fit watch 3. Health Sync app worked for me. I guess it's still cheaper than buying an apple or garmin just to log indoor activities.

Can you do a comparison of the gt5 pro to amazfit trex3 in terms of accuracy (heart rate, sleep…), maps, and band comfort? Thanks
Best watch ever 🎉.This and the D2 with blood pressure.i have both unique watches 🎉
Nice! Glad you like it!
Can you disconnect Bluetooth of Huawei gt5 pro from watch itself. Some say can't be done in GT Series as I have to decide.

Right. Health Sync is the key.
