- We clean and degrease this old tractor first off and then we paint is it’s glorious bluey-grey colour so it is one step closer to looking like it was back in it’s prime days in 1953.
thank you! for saving her
My Pontiac is from 1953.
Ferguson tractors are great survivors .
When am traveling in Sweden i can often see them stile running i the countryside.
They used to bee shipped from Britten in parts in big boxes and assembled at a factory in a city named Nyköping in Sweden when they were new.
I grow up not far from Nyköping and every farm around there had a Ferguson tractor .
Wow! Did not know that. Love learning about these old machines
Sorry about the awkward silence in the painting bit. UA-cam doesn’t like iMovie music apparently
The Ford 8N is a positive ground unit
Hi, please can I ask, did you have to prime the metal before painting it? Thank you
Nah we didn't for the body. Probably wont for the bonnet. We primed the grills and the t-piece only because it was bare galvanised metal. If I haven't answered your question or have more, let me know.
Thanks!
My ted is positive ground
