Your tractor is a 35, the way you tell is the generator has a through bolt on the timing cover. A 35x will have the bracket bolted to the side of the timning cover. Note, having a diff lock is not how you tell the difference between the two types and many will say it is. Its possible to have a diff lock on a 35 as an option. Likewise, being a 35x does not guarantee it has a diff lock though its likely but certainly not always. Of course the serial number will tell you exactly what it is provided its still there and tractor is still original.

No they don't the diff lock was a extra on the 35x. It was a option.. that's a 35 straight..
