- Hello and Welcome,
Today we'll see what I can do with a Matchbox Lambogini Marzel thats been through paint stripper before it was dis-assembled I found this to be the easiest way to decant paint from a spray can.
Don't throw away your old spray cans or spray cans you think might be empty as most likely they are not. All spray cans use a straw system to deliver the paint out of the can but just like when you drink a milk shake you try and suck up the last bit you never do.
Once you have the paint out of the can and into another container DO NOT TIGHTEN THE LID. as there is still aerosol gas in the paint just watch the bubbles. If you tighten the lid and shake the container to mix the paint you run the risk of having paint all over the place. with aerosol gas still in the paint it's like shaking a bottle of coke then opening it.
Hope you enjoy this little tip
see you again soon

Good tip ! When you go on to use this paint in an airbrush do you thin the it down . I presume it is a different formula than normal airbrush paint .
Plus you have the potential advantage of saving a load of cash from not purchasing the thumb size Tamiya etc . 👍
Haven't had to thin any paint down as yet. I haven't tried any of the airbrush specific paints as yet.
I want to try this but i'm a bit scared it explode on me
