Excellent restoration on these 2 Michael, the hubs can be removed but you will end up destroying the axles, so it's best to leave it .factory era. Happy new year to you Michael

nicely done, love the colours. :) and why not making them civilian cars, or civilian patrol cars even. :) as for the wrong wheel, it's easy: it's a lost hubcap. as we have learned from watchign too many too bad US crime series, partol cars in a chase lose a hubcap in every sharp turn, no matter how many wheels there are. ;) side note, in case nobody has noticed, but you put the glass in backwards on the yellow car, which is why the back end doesn't go together as it should. ;)

Two nice customs there, Michael. These started out as Royal Canadian Mounted Police cars, by Dinky. There were also, RCMP, Ford Fairlanes and Cadillacs. The Pontiac Parisiennes were very popular in Canada. They were viewed as superior to the Chevrolet cars, even though they had the same parent company General Motors.

lovely. :) the original is called a 13-windows-bus here. and the roof windows and large opening indicate a famous "Samba"-bus. the large roof opening is supposed to be a soft top sunroof made by Westfalia, which also came up with the "Samba" name for their luxury bus version. so two-tone is just the correct way to paint this little gem. :)
