YEEEEESSSS!!!! I will be doing this for 2022. On my second diff in 2 years. Thank you for offering an affordable solution for the community. Says a lot about you guys as a group.
Very good video Justin. This video is a great explanation of the OEM assembly, and why the OEM assembly fails at the track; and a very good explanation how your solution resolves the problem. This should help a lot of S2000 track people.
OOooh that's awesome! Was looking into options for mine just to be safe. I've got 2 spare diffs lying around collecting dust, time to get stuff prepped!
I would be interested in sending one of my spares in. Gearing change would be nice to it’s a 450-500hp street car mostly just a weekend driver rarely gets beat up. Piece of mind is always nice.
Thanks for sharing your knowledge on this problematic issue for track dedicated cars. Can you tell me if an 06 differential differs from 04/05 in stock form? I need to source a unit to send in to you. Also what’s your experience with putting in the OSG LSD in comparison to stock?
06 diff is the same. The ap1 and ap2 diff suffer from the same problems. The OS Giken is the best hands down. We run them in our race cars and I can install one as well. Shoot me an email at HRMotorsports@yahoo.com when you are ready.
If I were to send my diff in, would you be able to change out my pinion bearings and races at the same time as well? Additional charges for the replacement parts as well of course. Have a bad wine coming from my diff and have been looking around for rebuild solutions. This kit seams like a nice oem plus option and if you guys ran through the rest of the diff to check for damage and repair that would sell it for me
I’m interested in getting this done to my diff. How can I get more info about the whole process, as far as shipping, how long would it take and where are you located. Thanks!
It's not rated for a hp. You can break a diff with just 200whp if you carelessly abuse it. I do however have several customers running over 500whp without issue.
