Excellent video explaining the tuning capabilities of the OS Giken Diff. I have one fitted to a supra, stock from OS giken and i'm experiencing the the exact problem you described on cornering. The car just does not want to turn and the tires are scrubbing pretty bad. Where can I purchase the tuning kit?

I’m curious. Would it be possible just to weld the caps permanently in the stock position? I know the diff won’t be serviceable afterwards but if it breaks it would be toast regardless 🤷🏾♂️

Those grooves (teeth) prevent the caps from walking axially. The cap still needed to lift in the radial direction to allow the ring to shift outward. Interesting video.
No it will slide and break the threads. They are cast. We have had many caps push the bearing adjustment nut out and break them threads. Causing backlash to change and the diff to explode.

How many horses were taken off?
I only race automatic clutch our circuit is only 1100 meters, No experience with KZ, A shifter kart is it easy Or I shouldn’t bother with a shifters?

How much horsepower can this setup handle?
It's not rated for a hp. You can break a diff with just 200whp if you carelessly abuse it. I do however have several customers running over 500whp without issue.

I'm doing a j35 swap on my frs too, just confused on where did you relocate the power steering pulley and pump.
The frs is electric power steering. So you don't need any of that.
@@teamkellyracing1700 thanks just realized that when looking at the car lol, just took out the stock engine and bout to put in the j series. What motor mounts did you use? Also did you guys use a s2k transmission

The most successful S2000 race team in the States right now swear by the 2-Way ATS set up.
The giken is way better. Also a 2 way is generally not what you would want for road racing.
