Great video with important info. I will always remember the train ride from Anchorage to Denali with lots of wildlife around every corner. Luckily, the mountain was 100 percent visible when we went. We took the helicopter ride to the top of Mendenhall Glacier and a dog sled ride. Every inch of Alaska was of Alaska was worth the expense from eagles sitting in trees as we disembarked at Juneau, beavers floating in rivers, moose grazing outside of Anchorage, or whales following our ship on our way to Vancouver. Alaska is a must for nature or history lovers.
Thanks for sharing your experiences! It sounds like you had a dream trip to Alaska and yes, things are pricy but every penny is worth it, it is so beautiful there. We had that glacier/doglsed ride booked in Juneau on our first trip to Alaska and the weather didn't cooperate, I am so glad that it worked out for you!
Lovely video! When were you there? When is salmon spawning season please? Top 3 excursions please? We have zip line in our backyard so that’s out. Planning to book Alaska cruise next May. Thanks!
Excellent upload, very informative and helpful. Alaska boasts great adventure worth exploring. Gives you a change of scenery from what we are accustomed to experiencing on continental U.S.
Vancouver needs at least three days but more if you want to include Whistler and Squamish. I haven't done a full Vancouver video, but I have bits of it in other videos: Here are two road trip videos from Vancouver: ua-cam.com/video/HWlnpOLDo-I/v-deo.html&pp=ygUUdGhlcGxhbmV0ZCB2YW5jb3V2ZXI%3D & ua-cam.com/video/Jx7IUUbM8B8/v-deo.html&pp=ygUUdGhlcGxhbmV0ZCB2YW5jb3V2ZXI%3D
Great video! I checked the links to the excursions …. Just wondering - didn’t you book using the cruise line? Or did you book via viator? These rates are way cheaper but I’m worried about the risk of a refund when weather is bad.
First of all thank you for your video, you learn a lot from this. May I ask what time of year it was when you guys took that excursion "The Bear Viewing" in Ketchikan. Hoping for an answer, greetings from Belgium.
👏👏👏🌹👏👏👏
Thanks for watching!

Thank you, I am glad you enjoyed it. And yes, Alaska is so very different from other destinations.
Outstanding video - music, editing, and commentary all excellent.
Thank you very much! That means a lot to us to hear that.
Great video. Thank you! We leave in 2 weeks. Your tips are awesome
Have an amazing time. Alaska is a really special destination.
We went to the Monty Hall glacier. It was no more than a few ice cubes. Sad. But we did make a deal.
@@Bobtowngarden haha! Sad that the glacier has shrunk but I love the Monty Hall reference.
Thanks for sharing very informative video congratulations
So nice of you! Thank you for watching!

Hi Deb n Dave, when is the best time to see Bear feeding on Salmon in Ketchikan?
@@TuNhan-hb4io we went in August. I think the salmon running season is from mid-July to Sept. So you have a good chance of seeing them then.
