Stop making me cry! LOL How is it two "outsiders" could teach me more about my home state than I knew, fill me with even more pride about than I thought I could feel, and I knew a lot and beam with pride already! It's like you are ... what is it called ... uh ... you know ... like ... TRUE ARTISTS ... or sumthin'. Go figure. I'm truly grateful you have spent so much time focused on this wonderful place, dove into every season (all two of them!) and more regions than most people go, and captured so much of the essence of the people and the place. There will be so many places that entice you along the way South, but I hope you'll come back, either as guest or as citizens. After all, as comprehensive as you've been, there is still SO much more of Alaska.
Omg ...I am the one who commented on one of your other amazing videos . First of all you have over one million views and you took the time back to write a follower I've never even seen that before with videos with way less views then yours . Sometimes people are going through something and ro feel kindness means the world so I really appreciate that .. second there really isn't anything produced by hollywood better then this . I mean wow ... the native culture and how much respect and love you send to them in your videos the history of russia and the natives you cannot find this information anywhere else online because i have looked and hard. It's so nice to be right about such good people as yourself the vibe the energy to know it is all true it just makee me happy to know people like you still exist. All that aside lol when you decide to make all this into a movie you just let me know what support you need or to share it with everyone i know I am there! Thank you again, just freaking incredible....!!
We are so glad you are enjoying our videos! We really appreciate the people who take the time to leave wonderful comments like yours, so we try to reply to as many comments as possible. Thanks again for taking the time to send us such a wonderful comment and thank you for showing appreciation for the work we do!😊
Wonderful...wonderful....wonderful. Simply breathtaking photography and video along with a soothing soundtrack that accents it all and the commentary that ties this story together! Thank you so very much Cora and Jose...Juneau is so lucky to have you visit and record all that you saw. I will be back there in the Summer of '25 to once again spend time in my beloved Alaska.
This channel beats Nat Geo Hands down and this is only the second video I am watching. Need to wind back to first episode. Excellent job guys. Fantastic videography, excellent story telling.
That sculpture of the humpback gave me chills! Can’t wait to go back to Juneau to see that…and eat dumplings! Jose, I really appreciate how you incorporate moving shots with still shots. It makes such a nice flow to the videos. As always….well done, you two! ❤
The more I hear about Alaska, Juneau in particular, the more enthralled I become. I think I very much would like to visit and maybe even move there one day. Seems like a lovely place to raise a child. Thanks for the indepth view into Juneau.
I lived in Juneau for 3 months during the fall back in the early '70's. I visited again a couple years ago during a kayak trip on the inside passage from Seattle to Skagway, and man, what a contrast! I think there were at least 5 cruise ships in port and I couldn't get out of there quick enough and back to primitive camping in the remote areas of the passage.
Most comprehensive yet natural review of Juneau. So refreshing and full of important, relevant info. Thanks for great content that is truly educational, understandable, and not just regurgitated hogwash!
I just returned from my Alaska Cruise. Seriously, the best decision I made. Just Wow. Due to the short time frame couldn't cover more of Juneau. Overall Insane!!! Loved every moment of mother nature's beauty. You have covered it more extensively which helped me to understand it better. Thank you.
@@ArtWeThereYet Exactly how do you capture all these in photos and videos. I tried my best though. You need to be there to feel and experience it for sure. It's surreal!!!!
Very VERY nicely done. Lived in Juneau from 1975-1992 (before glacier gardens) (and am still involved in come community activities). You captured the nature of the area as I remember it (including the “stoic” upper downtown). One of the best areas in the world.
We have loved this series. Will be travelling from Australia next month and spending 3 weeks in a motorhome leaving from Anchorage, your videos have been very useful. Looking forward to following you on your way to Argentina, we were there as the pandemic was declared.
Beautifully shot and edited. I was briefly in Juneau in August, to board NG Venture and experience the nooks and crannies of the Inside Passage. I'll need to go again! (I also enjoyed your NG Seabird video!)
@@ArtWeThereYet we did not see any Orcas, but did experience the "whale-a-palooza" of being surrounded by humpbacks! And, a "record bear-sighting" day! And, eagles! So. Many. Eagles!! It was an amazing experience!
Hello fellow UA-camrs! My wife and I stumbled across some of your Alaskan videos and absolutely enjoyed your videos! Great cinematography and narrations! We just had to subscribe and follow! We started our channel this year and are pre planning our Alaskan videos and trip now! Your tips were amazing and we learned so much! Great job, hopefully we cross paths one day! 😁 Jeff Holmes
Thanks for the kind words Jeff! We’re so glad you enjoyed our videos! We love hearing about other travelers! We’ll definitely check out your channel, good luck to you guys on your UA-cam journey! 😊
Cora & Jose I"m with you on this one as well, and all that native art is so beautiful, reminds me of all that Indian art here in the lower 48 of course each has its own flavor and characteristics, but bottom line...beautiful, I sure envy you on those hikes I cannot do anymore, love your content....Javi G. Tucson, Az
I'm truly sad you're leaving Alaska but excited to follow your journey. I'm the haul road trucker who honked and waved while you finished your Dalton Highway adventure at the one mile sign. I know you already have your adventure planned but I would highly recommend dropping down the west side of the Olympic peninsula on your journey. I'm originally from westport Washington and would love to see your take on the rainforest of western Washington
Helloooo!😊 Loving your channel guys, I'm new to it and really enjoying the content...I just need to ask, that blue/brown (or is it grey/brown?) rucksack you are wearing, I love it! Where can I maybe find it?!🙏😊
Hi! We think we'll be renting a car in Juneau but only really have 5-6 hours. Mendenhall Glacier is top priority, then maybe Douglas Island or Eagle Lake , any other recs?? Also where did you get that orange jacket, love it!
Hey! Definitely keep Mendenhall Glacier at the top of your list! Since we were without a vehicle, we were pretty bound to the bus system in Juneau, so we stuck around town except for the glacier and botanical garden excursions. I think if you have only 5-6 hours, going to the glacier is a great idea, and then spend your final hours exploring downtown and walking up the hill towards the capitol. It really is a great walking city! Oh, and this is the jacket! rei.rockporch.com/prdlink/vhP5LGHEmY
We thought about that, but the issue is that tour prices change every year. So we decided to just give the link, so folks can get accurate pricing info. We would hate to misinform!
Yes, in this particular area it is legal because it is not part of a National Park. But you have to be careful flying over the glacier since there a lot of helicopters and airplanes doing tours on the glacier.

Great Video of Juneau, Wished you would made mention of Patsy Ann on the Boardwalk.
Yes, we knew about Patsy Ann but ran out of filming time!
hi. thanks a lot for sharing. May I know what travel camera did you use for this video?
You bet! Our full gear list is in the video description 👍
For this particular video we mostly used the Canon R5

Is it legal to fly a drone at the glacier?
Yes, in this particular area it is legal because it is not part of a National Park. But you have to be careful flying over the glacier since there a lot of helicopters and airplanes doing tours on the glacier.

Are you sure ??? Alaska is a beautiful place as whole…
Sorry, sure about what? We agree AK as a whole is spectacular. That’s why we came for 3 months and stayed for two years 🥰🥰
this climate activist fails to tell you that this glacier has been receding for thousands of years, not just the last several decades.
