Meeting your cycling friend along the way was inspiring. It shows you don’t need a bus to seek your adventure …just a willingness to do it. Yes.. as a newly retired truck driver I’m inspired to retrace some of your steps from Ottawa Canada to the Pacific and as far north as I can in my 2018 Camry. Well look for your stickers and report back on what we find. Life is short…grab what you can while you can!! God Bless…have a safe journey!
I have so enjoyed your travels across Canada and up through Alaska and now the Arctic. I’ve been to various places in South America so I will tag along with you guys on your journey. Your vlogs are absolutely the best I’ve seen. Great job👍. Safe travels.
Not the one where you picked flowers despite knowing how slowly they grow and how harsh the arctic is. It sets a bad example. I loved pretty much everything else, and just wanted to let you know of the horrendous impact of social media influencers on outdoor spaces. Moreso now than ever, it is incredibly important to try to set the best, leave no trace example that you can. You did set a great example of a respectful tourist by mentioning the right of way of the truckers, and I want to give you props for that though. I'll have more positive things to say later, but I think the overall 'tone' and perspective of this video would make people have more respect for the places they visit because you made it about the places you went rather than making it about yourselves.
…I don’t understand how this channel does not have a million subs. It is by far one of the best produced channels on UA-cam. There has to be something we can do to help these amazing artists pump the subs up. As always great episode.
You guys are turning into masters of your craft, the way you research your surroundings as you travel thru them and present it to us with the cinematography and the background music is just magical, it's as if we are there with you, truly exceptional, I know Cora & Jose I'm always complementing your videos and your craft and with good reason as every time I'm overwhelmed with the beauty of your travels and your presentation, your lifestyle is to be congratulated and I know you realize what an exceptional life experience you guys live, the beauty of the natural world in never ending and constantly breathtaking, I've done quite a bit of traveling myself on my Honda Goldwing and I surely appreciate it as well, and that young man on the bicycle, what courage and determination, I sure hope God keeps him safe on his travels....Javi G.
The Engineer who designed the pipeline was my professor for Pipeline engineering class in 1981 at Cal Poly! I am sure he is no longer with us! God bless him and all those who worked on this project and the roads!
Got some giggles from this. My wife and I drove to Prudhoe Bay along the Dalton in 2019 from Florida pulling a small travel trailer. My wife and I were giggling hearing your comments on the Dalton being a dangerous road etc. etc. etc. It is challenging, I’ll give it that, but if you heed the advice offered at just about every visitor Center through the Yukon and Alaska on prepping for the Dalton, it is doable. Much of the advice (it’s actually in a pamphlet) is common sense - at least one full size spare tire, extra fuel, clothing and food for 48-hours, and if possible some sort of satellite communication device. I think the best advice was when approaching one of the 18 wheelers, slow down and pull as far to the right as possible. Most truckers will slow down and move over as well - all in an attempt to avoid a broken windshield. We had all this and obeyed the rule of the road and are happy to say every trucker we met did the same. As for fuel, the stops mentioned had no ethanol fuel so for most vehicles this meant better mileage. We filled up at the start, again in Coldfoot where we spent the night and then in Prudhoe Bay and just reversed everything on the way back. For someone who has never driven the Dalton, you may have put the fear into them to never attempt it. I say that with the utmost respect and with a giggle. Travel safe
Yeah, I was thinking the exact same thing. "One of the most dangerous roads in the World" Really?? Guess she's never seen videos from India or Napal. Now 'those' roads are crazy dangerous! This road is tame enough to have Visitor's Centers, and it's paved a good part of the way. And it's not like it would be weeks before you see another vehicle if you do break down. Maybe a couple hours at best. Sure is pretty up there though!! Take your time, use your brain, and you'll do just fine.
We were thinking same thing. This is by far NOT one of the most dangerous roads. My sons and I pulled a 30ft travel trailer up to Coldfoot and dropped it to run the rest of way to Deadhorse and back. We took six days to complete the entire trip and had a blast. Not one issue on any equipment and that’s even pulling it through some dicey construction areas.
Bucket list ?? Nope, just did it with you folks !! Thanks for taking me along, that was spectacular !!! It so much reminds me of my time spent in Canada's Yukon & Northwest Territories, on the Dempster Highway etc. Looking forward for what's to come, be safe out there....... Cheers
I think I am living the Dalton through your video. I was just happy that my husband and I finally made it to Alaska a few months ago! It was a dream come true.
As always, I love you guys. Love your journey, and especially, the storytelling. "When you meet a nomad, you get to connect with someone who really gets you... "
One of the major reasons I subscribed to your channel, is your voice, it is so calm and yet has an happiness and excitement to it. I first watched your National Geographic Expedition cruise vlog and fell in love with your content, presentation and your voice ☺️☺️. The next thing i absolutely love are the cinematography and editing of your videos. Lastly I learned many things about these places, from your videos and now eager to explore these place with my loved ones. Keep up the good work 🥰
Thank you so much Cora and Jose'...your dedication to making the finest video experiences shows through on this amazing adventure. Incredible drone photography and a sound track for the ages compliment your narrative. You have shown Alaska in a new and outstanding light and added so much joy to my life to simply sit back and watch each adventure unfold before me. Word fail me at times but please know that I will be a lifetime fan of your channel and your works. Much love to you both...Bob
Thanks, met people and ( old school) that worked in Alaska, though,I probably not get a chance . Foreseeable that is. Hope for decent winter and good springtime. 👍
I just found your channel today, and honestly I'm blown away. So well produced and informative. I felt like I'm watching something produced on the discovery channel. Hope your channel blows up!!! Beautiful scenery and your voice is incredibly soothing.
Absolutely one of the best travelogue videos i have ever seen. The narrative is fabulous. Your research and factual info is above anything I have seen. Thank you. Please repeat.
Absolutely stunning video! Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU for producing this so that all your viewers as well as myself can enjoy this adventure through your outstanding video and narration. Well done!❤
Hey Cora, we certainly enjoyed this video, in fact we loved it! The detailed history and geography and other bits of information you provide is unsurpassed. Thank you for doing this. We are eagerly watching for each episode. Atigan pass and the climb might be our favorite stop, but if we'd travel this road, that may change.
I just came across your channel recently and I cannot describe in words what I have been watching. You guys are masters of your art and your narratives along with superb cinematography have brought the beauty of Alaska vividly in front of my eyes. I congratulate you for your journey and hopefully will enjoy all the various episodes in future.
I LOVE the insight to the wildlife and history of the road you gave along the way......the pauses to explain permafrost etc. are valuable to me....a very wonderful journey!!! THANKS for taking us along! Looking forward to more!!
I have traveled this highway many times and am in awe each and every time. I love the narrative and the history you give and as a lifetime Alaskan I also learned through your explanation of how the pipeline works and how this incredible land was formed.
I have been to Alaska twice when I was on active duty. This video was very colorful and informative. Thanks for all the comments along the drive of Dalton Road. it was nice to see the mountains and the animals. I loved this video for all that you show. I hope you make many more like this. God Bless.
Thanks for sharing your Alaska experience. I really enjoyed it. I have been to Alaska twice and love it. ❤️ ❤ I have been on the Dalton Highway. Quite the experience 😊
Watched this from Montana 10 : 00 am. We appreciate the narrative that gives history. We will be following you the whole trip. Our prayers are for your safety. Thank you
Fantastic video! ❤ We hired a tour trip there. It was an 8 passenger van. Our driver was a full time "Ice Road Trucker." The video brought back awesome memories. It was very interesting to see how much things had changed in 14 years. Thank you for this experience!
Seen over a dozen Dalton Hwy videos, yours is the best as you take time to explain the geographic and geological features. Also you took time to appreciate the scenery and journey and did not resort to " we have to be in xxxxx by xxxx"
Congratulations on the channel. I live in Brazil, I don't speak English, I loved that you had the respect to put subtitles in Portuguese. Keep it up, I've already subscribed to the channel and I'll follow your adventures until you arrive in Argentine Patagonia!
I'm glad you filmed and allowed us to see the breathtaking views on the road trip to Arctic from Alaska's. Thank you so much for bringing us along. I really enjoy watching it. 👍👍
The quality of this video is top notch. I thought it was a show in the Discovery channel. Congratulations on completing Dalton Highway. ❤ Alaska is sure beautiful!
an argentinian guy is doing from Argentina to Alaska in a honda econo 90cc now is in the USA. I just found you guys and of course I subscribe to your incredible chanel that was very nice to treat the guy to a great dinner thank you for sharing
Wow I just found your channel. I've just seen you folks in Washington. I was sleeping in the same parking lot as you and seen you at Chevron not gonna say where, but it was at a casino near spokane. I thought your bus was cool looking. I'm glad I found your channel. I have one as well. Me and my pup live full time on the road in my truck camper.
Thank you for sharing this amazing journey. It brought back lots of memories for me. I lived up there for 17 years. Traveled the Dalton to the Arctic Circle pull off. Finally had to get back to Oregon. Miss it though ❤
Thanks for a great hour of enjoyment watching you guys travel this road. We were able to spend a week in an RV on the Alaska highway, and this made us want to follow your trip to just see the Artic ocean. Great production. you guys should have 1million subscribers. Thank you very much for all the effort you put into this. We'll be keeping an eye on you.
This is the best video I have seen traveling through northern Alaska. Young lady you did an amazing job with writing and narrating. We just came back from Alaska but didn’t think our class C motor home could do it. 👏🏼👏🏼

Thank you..thank you...thank you....your WONDERFUL story i could never ever duplicate...From indiana i motorbike the Alaska highway in 1968 after high school....not knowing the discovery of oil at north slope......i only traveled to CIRCLE CITY for a two day camp out at the YUKON river....A beautiful evening of solatude and return to Indiana with stories to share.....Then returned in 1996 to travel to PRUDHOE bay.....THANK YOU for your story.....Timothy from Boswell. Indiana
Awesome video. I've watched a lot of videos in preparation to make this journey myself. I have to say this the most thorough video of the haul road I've seen. Thank you!
Oh that is awesome - Glad it was helpful! Enjoy your time on the Dalton! Tip: the hills are steeper heading south. Get ready for the Beaver Slide - it’s a climb when driving south!! It’s a little south of Finger Mountain.
I just have to say this was one of the most enjoyable and interesting video I've seen. Every bit as good if not better than many Nat. Geo shows. You should be very proud of the professional quality of it. The narration is superb with all the information you talked about. It was wonderful to see it through your eyes as I will never be there. The scenery is gorgeous. What an adventure for you! Be safe on the rest of your travels.
Wow, this was a great adventure with you to Deadhorse. We're thinking of planning our trip up in summer 2025 from Anchorage. Thanks for the history and geography lessons along the way.
Awesome video.. Thoroughly enjoyed!! I hope I can do something like this someday :) Interesting fact - at 7:44 one of those notes (in blue color sticky) is written in my mother tongue - Malayalam, a language spoken only in a small part of India. It is amazing to see that note in such a remote part of the world :)
Just found your channel today and after a couple of minutes I subscribed and I look forward to watching your ongoing journey to Ushaiai through the Americas. It will certainly bring back many memories for me as I did this entire journey alone in a 1969 VW campervan in 1988-1990. At the time the road to Prudhoe Bay was not accessible (as you mentioned) so I took the Dempster Highway to Inuvik instead traversing the same landscapes. Your calm informative narration and superb drone work as well as your editing made this a pleasure to watch. I look forward to the rest of your journey. Greetings from the Train Lord in South Australia
Very well done video! Thought I was watching a National Geographic documentary. Can’t say enough on how well done the editing and narrating was. Safe travels!
📊POLL TIME! What is your FAVORITE stop on the Dalton? Will you put this road trip on your life bucket list?
Yup. Thinking of sticker designs now...😅
