- Keeping Up Appearances 1990 Cast THEN AND NOW 2023 All Actors Have Aged Terribly
Keeping Up Appearances is a British sitcom created and written by Roy Clarke. It originally aired on BBC1 from 1990 to 1995 with two specials airing in 1997 and 2008 on PBS. The central character is an eccentric and snobbish middle class social climber, Hyacinth Bucket (Patricia Routledge), who insists that her surname is pronounced "Bouquet".[1] The show comprised five series and 44 episodes, four of which are Christmas specials. Production ended in 1995 after Routledge decided to move on to other projects. All 44 episodes have since been released on DVD. - Розваги
That thumbnail is ridiculous but doesn’t surprise me given the narrator’s accent.
Your “then” and “now” thumbnail is very insulting to Patricia Routlidge. Why have you done that?
Clickbait ....
Click bait at it's best here.
Agree
Deeply saddened.
How do you know Patricia Routledge is insulted?
One of the best sitcoms ever!
'All actors have aged terribly', from the title and thumbnail. What a despicable thing to say.
I still love that show. It is for sure one of the BEST sitcoms that ever came out of England. I still enjoy it today.💞💞💞💞
The “terrible” part was the voice- over!
Did it leave you deeply saddened?
@@paulsi1234 See my comment above about that.
Its death has left me deeply saddened.
They didn't age terribly. This was 30 odd years ago. We've aged too. All those still alive look really good for their ages so be truthfull
Exactly!
The whole article is AI generated rubbish anyway, it thinks Keeping Up Appearances is a Hollywood movie.. said so in the intro!
@@rachel.mcgowan That explains the annoying voice of the narrator!!!
It's astonishing how my enthusiasm and joy for the iconic 80s movies I grew up loving still remain my absolute favorites to this day!
compared to what they have now, no wonder you feel that way. i agree 100%
It was in the 1990s.
@@Plethoralityand not a movie
Many episodes were filmed in and around Leamington Spa where I lived. We would often see the cast on the streets. The character of Hyacinth was a gem
Wow!
Love Leamington spa…especially Jepson garden
Isn't it cold there in Britain- Hyacinth was always in sundresses 😳😳😳
@@brendarudman8806Not always and I do recall these episodes being filmed during the summer months.
Their house was in a suburb of Coventry called Binley Woods. A glorious old private house called Compton Wynyates, in Warwickshire, played its part as a stately home in one episode.
It truly was sad to learn of the passing of do many great cast members to such an iconic internationally loved show. Who each leave such great memories of the series for future generations to enjoy
Did love this program.... glad I can catch up on the internet... good old British comedy....🙏🙏🍒
Clickbait rubbish. They haven't aged terribly , they have aged naturally and look absolutely fine for their natural ages! Maybe person who made it is use to seeing too many people who have had plastic surgery!
Thank you for updating us. Sad to hear of the passing of some of the cast members of this wonderful sitcom.
I loved this serial. I watched them always and i am still watching in 2024.
Insulting “clickbait “ on Patricia
Really disgusting 'Now' thumbnails for your videos and completely false.
I agree
My thoughts exactly as well !
Nasty stuff
Bloody robot voice that doesn’t pronounce words correctly! Spoils it !
Hi Shirley🌹🌹
How are you doing..?

I Absolutely 💝 British SitcomS ,I Can Watch Them Over And Over Again,I Can’t Stand Our 🇺🇸’N Sitcom’S ,Not Even As A Kid. Thank You For The Information.
I loved all of them 😊
That’s how my passion for English comedy started💙💙🤩
I love Rowan Atkinson, Mr. Bean as well. He made me laugh lol!!!
It's not just the actors who are getting old! I turned 80 last month. By the way, one of the channels in Sweden (where I live) is re-running the series.
Won’t listen to a robotic voice. This programme deserves so much better.
Deeply saddened.
I'm so glad I bought this sitcom on DVD so I can watch it over and over again! Just love it!
Me too! I love Christmas episodes.
An epic show! I truly have enjoyed every character thoroughly, but of course Patricia and Clive make the show! I’ve watched KUA since it first aired and never tire of it 🤣 What a gem! 💎
That's not her at all scammers
My favorite show. PBS . Sad to learn most of cast has passed on. To Pat R., "Hang on old girl." ❤
That is not Patricia in the second picture
Of course not the people that make this tripe have no conscience.
Excellent! Wonderful summary of a great show. Thanks to PBS, I saw most of the old episodes. The humor aged beautifully- still funny AF.
No one has aged terribly. Click bait.
This was a TV show from 35 years ago, most of the stars were in their 50s-60s. They've aged, we all age, if we are fortunate enough. The ageing process and accompanying health issues might be a mystery to the AI presenter (not so sure about the I) but it's quite straight forward. I loved the show BTW and still watch it.
George Web played Daddy. Born 6th of March 1912, Paddington London. Died 30th December in London 1998.
It would be good if you could find someone who could pronounce the names of the characters !
Repost it narrated by a human, rather than by an AI bot, and I will watch it.
Total BS!
The clickbait picture shows a very obese lady on a mobility scooter. "They have aged terribly." 😁 It's isn't anyone from the cast.
CRAP commentary, turned it off
Well done
The actors did not make it to Hollywood. This was a British show filmed in England. That fake thumbnail is disgusting clickbait. Goodbye.
I live round the corner from where onslow and daisy lived 😢 my brother lives on the road opposite hyacinths house, still love this show and its nostalgia ❤
I'm deeply saddned that this video was ever made.
Who’s the woman on the scooter then?
Some random photo used as clickbait
Fatricia Roundledge
How do these misrepresentations keep being allowed here? The ridiculous "now" pictures that are so obviously fabricated. Disgusting.
It's done by "non ENGLISH"
Very interesting thank you
Certainly Patricia Routledge should sue…..
@@topazpowell8561 Yes, why wasn't this narrated by a well-known British celeb instead of someone American? !! It was boring also to keep saying at someone's passing 'leaving us deeply saddened.' They could have varied that phrase a bit.
I'm American and this person does not sound as if he's from the states. If I had to guess he is from India.
I loved the video thank you. Brings back memories. Best show ever.❤❤❤❤😂
So just who is the person in the click bait photo?
This is an awful update video about a wonderful program. The click bait video image is all you need to know.
Deeply saddened.
"Leaving us deeply saddened"
Can you not use any other terminology?! 😂😂😂
Loved that show❤❤
I suspect your photo is a fake...
"Re regret to inform you they passed away leaving us deeply saddened". Such sincerity 😂😂😂
Oh my, things have changed so much. I'm sorry to hear of the passing of these actors. I love the sitcom. I still watch it.
May they all rest in peace.
Hope Hyacinth is doing well. All the best to her.
This is not her - this guy puts up the same picture for everyone - he has been reported by me!
@@sharoncox4776 Really. So what's the situation with cast.
@@sallyandersen8729 She is now a Dame. And far from dead! this guy should be banned from yt for putting up false information!
@@sharoncox4776 Actually, he didn't say she was dead. He did say she was in a home. I know she is a Dame. Some of the cast are now deceased.
@@sallyandersen8729 He still portrays in the wrong state - his thumbnail is not correct - have reported him - he using the same woman in a wheelchair! Con artist!
That is not Patricia Routledge above. Click bait.
“Leaving us deeply saddened”. This sounds so phony and insincere.
Thumbs down due to thumbnail. It's false. The voice is rubbish also but at least I can mute that.
Hi Dear🌹🌹
How are you doing..?
Good morning beautiful arise and shine 🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹
Deeply saddened.
One of my favourite sitcoms. Watch it all the time.
Thumb nail is BS.
Each Sataurday, with my late aunt would sit and watch this...........one of my favs...........Especially, Hyacinth, husband Richard and when on the phone with her son.
WTF was that voice..?!
Robotic A1.
I loved Keeping Up Appearances. A great cast. Sorry so many actors have passed.
Me too, i loved Onslows broken gate, " leave it, leave it"
Not even the same woman
I love Geoffrey Hughes as Onslo
❤❤❤ oh that's sad that so many past away. I really loved them and this series sending love to them al.
I was born in August of 1944 and I have just celebrated my 79th birthday, so hearing Judy Cornwall was 83 though born the same year, had me baffled! Better check your maths!
Deeply saddened.
and he needs to get the right place of birth as it should be Hammersmith, not Blacksmith
Whos in the video clip thumb nail?
I’m curious to know when that picture was taken. I went to see Patricia in the Haymarket in 2019. It was a very busy Sunday for me and I nearly didn’t go. I’m so glad I did. She put together a truly marvellous show. This was one highly intelligent and very savvy woman. I find it hard to believe she’s that size now.
That's not her. That's click bait
Of course that was not her. Seriously ? In four years? Be a friend to her, Vicki--why do you believe these things on the internet? They're paid everytime you click.
@@amberspaulding
It is her. Covid got her eating I assume.
More robot read crap!

Is it really her on that picture now

So sad that the Charactors have passed away.Loved every eposode.Hyacinth was fabulous. The best of TV.😅
I do not agree with the poster of this videofilm. When it comes to
" have aged terribly" The ones that are alive, are of course much older now. Considering it has gone 28 years since the show ended in 1995. But the ones who is still alive do not look old in an ugly way!
30 years ago! They've aged pretty well i reckon
I'd love to see the interviews the clips were taken from. Such a great show, with a marvelous cast. It was absolutely brilliant!!! I could watch it endlessly.
Channel 5 or Gold (can't remember which) did a KUA show earlier this year with interviews with routledge and Judy Cornwell along with other people.
The BBC axed the show despite it having a big and wide audience. Patricia said the BBC was run by children, coincidently she has never worked for the BBC since.
I think they all aged wonderfully!
Only the young would say "aged terribly". Besides, Judy Cornwell (Daisy) looks as hot as she ever has. Beautiful lady!
L used to love this show Rest in peace
They had all aged very well. Sad for those that have passed but I will always remember watching KUA with fond memories, and they still air the episodes on iplayer. The characters were amazing and I could tell the cast were very genuine and down to earth people, nothing the actors we have today that are all up themselves.
I disagree that they have aged badly. And anyway, it was 30 years ago.
I loved Patricia Routledge as Hyacinth. Every church seems to have a Hyacinth!
My name is also David Griffin, my favorite character was Onslo.
I watched this show and As Time Goes By
@Hello there, how are you doing this blessed day?
Thank you for uploading
These thumbnails are just untrue and IDIOTIC.
Loved the show
R.I.P.
2:13 rest in peace Shirley stelfox. Your missed by Dukinfield.
This was filmed in Coventry uk. I know of where both houses were filmed as it's my home town .
Can't believe this video ended, it left us deeply saddened 😢
Classic sitcom ❤️🙏🏻
Giuseppe what’s my favourite character in Keeping Up Appearances.
All were legends. We all age, if we are blessed to live a long life.
All of them are my favorite characters❤💕
Great show
It's a shame that they have allowed someone who is so annoying to narrate this story.
Deeply saddened.
Yes, we all get old til we die. Thanks for pointing out the obvious!
Great video. 👌
Majority of the characters were born in February, how ironic
I did not see anyone in a scooter as was depicted in the thumb nail. Bait.
Something;s off there. If Judy Cornwell was born in 1944 she certainly isn't 83 now. I was born that year and I'm 79. Do the maths! LOL
I'm afraid I'm leaving this list of , mostly , death notices ....''deeply saddened'
Cool ya. Mrs. Bucket. Patricia. My. Fav. Go. Girl. Bought. Cd. Collection. Go. Girl. Yah
