After our oldest daughter died at 21, our much younger daughter told someone who lamented that her “life was cut short, and she died too soon” that she had lived every day that God ordained for her, and He took her home when she was done. ♥️
@HeyBema888... Sorry for the loss of your oldest daughter. Life and death are all about perspective and how we view them. Your younger daughter has a good perspective on life and death. Best regards to her and your family. 😇🙏
I'm assuming your family believes in God the father and his son Jesus Christ. Your daughter's response brought a scripture to mind -- a scripture I think of when I see a young person leave this world so early:: Isaiah 57::1 The righteous perisheth, and no man layeth it to heart: and merciful men are taken away, none considering that the righteous is taken away from the evil to come.
@@EfrenJake You assume correctly. Jesus not only brought us through that fire, He strengthened us because of it. The daughter that God called home is the only one of our 7 children for whom we have no fear anymore . While the other six all are saved, the world still has its influence in their lives. But she can’t be touched. The only true sorrow her death brings, is when I think of others who go through that pain without Jesus by their side. And while I miss her, it’s easy to wait until I see her again, knowing we will have eternity together. 🙌🏼♥️
I feel old - all the icons from my youth are disappearing. This was a particularly bad year. Some absolutely outstanding actors in there. Still, they must be getting just the best entertainment in heaven now!
How sad though! Time passes, and seeing this also takes away a part of us. Remember, Fritz Wepper in the "Derrick" TV series. At minute 6.14, Barbara Rush, I also remember her for two episodes of Ellery Queen with Jim Hutton: "The adventure of Auld Lang Syne" and "The adventure of the sinister scenario". Rest in peace.
Barbara Rush was so beautiful. I'm a fan of the old B&W sci-fi movies from the 1950's and I remember her as a young and beautiful actress in the 1953 movie "It Came from Outerspace". She lived a long life but still sad to see that she passed away. I wished we could all be like the Elves in the "Lord of the Rings" and be immortal while still keeping our youthful looks. Reality is we can't. We need to enjoy life as much as possible. Beauty is fleeting and so is life.

In Russia, too, over the past five years, everyone who could have died has died. It’s as if society is being freed from people of the old morality, who for many are still authorities.
I thank you for this piece of remember eaven if there could not be a thumbs up on this tragic moment of them all. Many of them, if not all will be never forgotten. I thank them all for being part of my life. In deeply rememberance of them all ...
These people were so lucky and talented to be in a position to give us all so many memories. I haven't done a lot with my life and when my time comes I will not be missed by many. Not being negative but these videos remind me of my own mortality, it's funny how ageing has made me more accepting of whatever happens. Okay, okay I will stop rambling now 😀
Those sentences could have been 100% from me. Since I started making these videos, I've been wondering what will remain of me. Not much. I've also researched cancer deaths so often that I'm starting to wonder if I'll go the same way. Last year, my neighbor died of colon cancer. I've known him since I was a baby. He was always a powerful and strong man. The disease took such a toll on him that when the hearse came to pick him up, the stretcher with his body was so small that a single man could have carried it. That shocked me so much that since then, I've been trying to avoid processed food and have dedicated more time to my health.
@@ourcorrectopinions6824 The problem with text is conveying emotion. I'm not fixated on cancer. I've just noticed how often it comes up. Certain things can influence you, but I'm neither afraid nor depressed. The scale from indifferent to panically fixated offers a wide range of states. I would say that I've noticed something, thought about it, and now I make fewer mistakes. Maybe that better describes my situation. So, I'm really doing well. I can laugh every day and still have many goals in my life. I want to reach 100 and maybe even see the 22nd century. But still, thank you for your advice. It speaks to your character that you want to help a stranger. 😊😊😊
One thing we all have in common" we are born and we will die" no matter how rich or poor you are. " it's sad to see the younger age" as older persons lived their lives" anyway take nothing for granted we are only on this earth a short time" I work in health care I always in the back my mind wandered what age my mammy would die" However she die 59 sudden death" my Daddy is alive" I also have a niece that die at 2 weeks old , I see people die in my job the effects it has on loved one" so if anyone here today is not talking to families friends be kind to yourself and build magical relationships moments that make it special to keep beautiful memories to live on ❤

Especially in these times, trust in our Lord Jesus Christ become born again, read his word, ask him for forgiveness of sins and turn away from them and walk with him everyday That's the only hope in this world for salvation

I'm 59 and fortunately in great health. But my ex-wife just died a couple months ago and I have several close family members/friends with terminal diagnoses right now. I'm not planning on checking out any time soon, but we never know... I'm taking a "once in a lifetime" trip with my son in a couple of weeks. Didn't want to put that off!
The impacts are getting closer. The older you get, the more loss you see around you. Life sometimes feels like charging out of a trench towards an unknown goal, while everyone around you gets hit and you somehow remain. I don't want to call it survivor's guilt, but that's how it sometimes feels. In any case, I plan to reach 100. I still want to enjoy the show of life a bit longer. And I want to take some of those once-in-a-lifetime trips. I wish you lots of fun with that. Try to slow down time, breathe in every moment, and enjoy it!!
@@listoholic4507 I don't have survivor's guilt. I've spent my life staying active and a majority of my adult life actively taking care of my health, particularly in a very difficult (at first - not later) type of weight lifting. Not lifting my fork. Not lifting my hand to order dessert. Not lifting my beer glass (I actually quit drinking many years ago). Yes, there is definitely some privilege involved in my ability to go to the gym/exercise 4-6 days a week. Part is luck, but a lot is my working hard when I was young so that I wouldn't be stuck working 80 hours a week for a soulless mega-corporation my whole life. Again, I had luck and help, but you gotta do a lot of work on your own your whole life. Thanks for the wishes. I have a great relationship with my son, and we're looking forward to an epic road trip!
Dabney Coleman got me with so many others I grew up watching. The reason for him is that I also suffer from dysphagia. Even drinking water can trip me up. So it is close to home.
I find this so sad, just like the decline of life. When you are young you are not nearly aware of how wonderful that period of your life is, but why is it that some people age so beautifully?

The latest being Shannen Doherty. RIP. How I used to love Beverly Hills 90210.
I watched the whole thing and I just SUBBED because the person who did this just gave us the facts without the lengthy history of each person ... nice job!

yep, death also collected Dr. Ruth, Richard Simmons and Shannen Dorhety(?) too... ☹️
@@JaxFPrime81 And now Bob Newhart. 🥲
RIP. I had not heard about Richard Lewis. He is my favorite comic.
I saw him for the first time in Robin Hood, and since I loved the movie as a child, he practically accompanied me throughout my childhood. Most recently, I saw him in Curb Your Enthusiasm. I think it’s nice that he was still in the latest episodes. But his health was already severely affected.
No old person should ever be homeless!! When we seemingly have the ability to pay for fit young foreign men to live for free and yet leave our elderly homeless .. shame on all of us.. particularly those who bleat immigrants welcome! I live in London and the amount of old homeless Brits shocked me to my core ..
You should move to Yankeeland. You'd fit right in.
Sometimes a mental illness hinders a person from being able to handle the everyday tasks of life and they eventually end up homeless.
How many countries did your nation invade to colonize and made their natives homeless again?
Do you seriously think older people are denied housing to give public housing to younger people, foreign born or not? In the States there is housing specifically set aside for 55 plus and people with disabilities. Some people just have issues that lead them to be homeless. Your statement is just prejudiced, ignorant nonsense.
Nicely done. Thank you for bringing this...Bravo!

After our oldest daughter died at 21, our much younger daughter told someone who lamented that her “life was cut short, and she died too soon” that she had lived every day that God ordained for her, and He took her home when she was done. ♥️
❤❤❤
@HeyBema888... Sorry for the loss of your oldest daughter. Life and death are all about perspective and how we view them. Your younger daughter has a good perspective on life and death.
Best regards to her and your family. 😇🙏
I'm assuming your family believes in God the father and his son Jesus Christ.
Your daughter's response brought a scripture to mind -- a scripture I think of when I see a young person leave this world so early::
Isaiah 57::1
The righteous perisheth, and no man layeth it to heart: and merciful men are taken away, none considering that the righteous is taken away from the evil to come.
Amazingly strong way of looking at her life.
A real tribute to BOTH daughters.

David Soul's passing still makes me sad six months later. Such a beautiful man with a gorgeous voice and so much talent. Hope Helena is doing okay.
Thanks for this. Please add the 6 that died in the last 7 days.
This video was very well done. Good Job!
We lost some greats this year Donald Sutherland, Carl Weathers and Lou Gosset Jr were the most surprising. But there were a lot of said surprises.
Sutherland at 88, not really
Thank you for sharing your talents with us. The world is a better place for the joy you brought to us.
When I heard of Donald Sutherland's death, I was very, very sad. He was one of my great heroes. RIP to all the great actors.😥
At 70 years old, I have grown up with all of them. They SHINE!
Thank you for the wonderful memories.
Sad to see David soul pass away, great actor, great singer. R.I.P. all those in this video. Thank you for a great vid.
I love the ‘style’ and manner in which you make these videos!
Well done!
I didn't know David Soul passed. I was a big fan of Starsky & Hutch back in the day. I remember David also having a hit single out called 'Don't Give Up On Us Baby', which was pretty darn good. R.I.P. DS.
That was so beautifully done. Thank you 🤗🙏🏻
From what I understand, Shelly Duvalle passed away at the age of 75.

In Russia, too, over the past five years, everyone who could have died has died. It’s as if society is being freed from people of the old morality, who for many are still authorities.

@@daveiwhittle you will be missed by those who have known you.

We were all beautiful once. And we are perfect once again.
