Deeply saddened to realise that most of them have passed away. It was a really wonderful show and brought out the laughter in the most cute, comical way, without any extravagant acting. Simple, yet subtle. Thank you team Mind your language and everyone associated with it for bringing to us one of the best shows in those times. 🤟
I agree. Each and every one played their role very well. This program was hilarious. I still love it. Very sad to know that some of them have tragically died. May God rest their Souls in Peace.
Despite being born in 1996, I used to watch this with my dad and grandad growing up. The reality of time passing by so quickly breaks my heart, and losing my own grandfather recently only made this realisation stronger. It's so important to cherish every moment 🙏
I was in college at Delhi when this wonderful sitcom happened. We used to await the episodes so eagerly. Yes life was simple, innocent and beautiful then. Brings back such good memories! Each of these characters were so identifiable! How much they made us laugh! God bless their souls. Thanks to the Director-Stuart Allen.

Sad that Barry Evans died so young, loved watching this show in my childhood. Wow I googled his death after this and even more sad, he became broke and ended up driving taxis and his death was suspicious. What a sad end to a man who brought such happiness to so many with his role in Mind Your Language. RIP Barry Evans 🌹

Just a small clarification to say he was working as a Mini Cab driver after hitting hard times! In 1997 he was found dead in his house! In February 1997, police discovered Evans's body in his living room after going to the house to tell him that they had recovered his stolen car, which had been reported missing the day before. The cause of his death has never been confirmed. The coroner found a blow to Evans's head and also found high levels of alcohol in his system. A short will was found on a table next to his body and a spilt packet of aspirin tablets was found on the floor, bearing a pre - decimalisation price tag (i.e., before 1971), indicating that the pack was at least 26 years old; although the coroner concluded that he had not taken any of them. An open verdict was eventually given. An 18-year-old boy was arrested but later released without charge due to insufficient evidence. Evans was cremated at Golder's Green Crematorium. May he rest in peace!🙏🙏🙏

Mind your own language was a fabulous comedy show. Lots of love and prayers for those who passed away and those who are still enjoying their lives. It reminds me of my sweet boyhood 💓💓
Brings back such great memories of when I was only 10... all my love ones were alive and now sadly gone. Used to watch it on our black and white TV with a dial selector for the channels... Good days 😢
Wow, such a bittersweet trip down memory lane. The cast of Mind Your Language gave us so much laughter, but their stories remind us how fleeting life can be. Truly tragic 🥲🥲🥲
One of the finest comedy show on tube. One can watch any episode anytime. I been watching since my youth. Thanks to UA-cam...... again and again I enjoy till date. ❤to the entire unit..... Thanks
What a series it was! That was comedy in the real sense! Those of us who watched it so eagerly then, (obviously old now), brings back happy cheerful memories.
My family and I used to watch this almost every night I was maybe 4 - 6 years of age we'd sit there as a family enjoying life. It's crazy how life changes TV isn't just this golden and it's sad that most of the people from the show past away RIP 🕊️🕊️🕊️
Ali Nadim played by Dino Shafeek once exclaimed in one of the episodes where the students were trapped in the school building for the night, "We're all going to die !" and incidentally he was the first to go !
You took us all into the golden era of our life. I'm 43 and this video brought tears into my eyes. I love all the characters but Jeremy Brown was king of the show. 💞😔 Thank you for sharing this video with us.
No, you just cannot chose anyone as a favourite MIND YOUR LANGUAGE😂😂😂...the whole crew presented as a family....i still play these episodes for my foreign students and also dramatised them as a play....unbeatable series❤❤....R.I.P to all those plucking daisies in God's garden...😢😢
I tried to use it with Japanese students but it didnt go down well, despite them being quite racist. I did have one Bangladeshi students who really enjoyed it.
I think I spotted an error. The photo on the left at time 16.08 is Dickie Davies, the presenter of World Of Sport, on the ITV channel in the UK, and not Harry Littlewood. He did the job for 20 years. Dickie Davies died early in 2023.
I discovered this marvellous show in November 2023 through UA-cam and now I am stuck with it watching all the episodes I could find on UA-cam . It's sad we don't find this kind of comedic and marvelous genuine comedy again in the 21st century.
It was sad to learn some of the actors have passed on. Mind your language was my favourite sitcom during that time. Even till now, these characters are still vivid in my memory.
I first watched this as a child in the 90s. I am now watching it on UA-cam. I didn’t know the program was from the 70s What a great show. Thank you for this video!!
Look at the magnificent work they produced at that time. I'm now 50 years old and today watch the episodes of Mind Your Langue with my 12 and 13 years old kids. They take equal interest in watching this simple but cute show. When I was watching this video I prayed with uneven heart beats that the character they were introducing would not have passed away, but Alas, several of them have gone; IT BROUGHT TEARS TO MY EYES. They were wonderful people.
Vety sad to know that majority of these actors passed away. They were truely gems and did wonderful job. They put smile on many faces due to their wonderful performance
Memories of the most beautiful golden days, unfortunately their departure is our great loss, but this is God will and everyone must have to leave one day It is true when they said the old is gold .
I’m 30 now and recently found this sitcom on YT. I think this is a gem of it’s kind. There have been many instances where I had fallen over my chair, laughing, quite literally. This sitcom was way too forward for the time I felt. And the humour is incredible. Credit to the writers, directors, producers, actors and the crew 🫡

In 1983, a few years after this show started I was in Eastbourne at the Meads School of English where I experienced most of the jokes used in the show in person. Just watched this . Thank you for posting.. sadly they are missed. What indelible characters everyone one of them . Watched this in Nz in late 70s when I was fresh off the boat from Fiji.. helped me laugh at my own situation.
What a brilliant comedy that so many friends have in common all over the world and many years later ..
bless them all ✨🙏🏾💜
I watched it in NZ as well
Mind your own language was a fabulous comedy show. Lots of love and prayers for those who passed away and those who are still enjoying their lives. It reminds me of my sweet boyhood 💓💓
❤,tx for shareing, very nice programme .still watch in youtube.
Brings back such great memories of when I was only 10... all my love ones were alive and now sadly gone. Used to watch it on our black and white TV with a dial selector for the channels... Good days 😢
I showed this show to my daughters and they love it too and I don’t remember how many times I watched this show … absolutely love it
Wow, such a bittersweet trip down memory lane. The cast of Mind Your Language gave us so much laughter, but their stories remind us how fleeting life can be. Truly tragic 🥲🥲🥲
Ali Nadim and Mr. Brown are my most favourite characters.
In fact, every one of that great show was an outstanding actor.
What about that French gal Danielle, German gal Anna, China gal Su Lee, Hungarian guy Zoltan, school janitor Sid and canteen operator Gladys?
Oh thanks for remembering more
yeah… u got them all
.
Sid passed away in 1984 , the Hungarian passed in 1985 ,Gladys in 91 , the French and Chinese ladies are still around , German gal no update..
Fyi . friend. The Chinese lady . Sooli is from Malaysia but migrated to UK when she was young. @@madmax-cr3vf
One of the finest comedy show on tube. One can watch any episode anytime. I been watching since my youth. Thanks to UA-cam...... again and again I enjoy till date. ❤to the entire unit..... Thanks
The best series ive ever seen & can go on watching it.
Amazing incredible people God bless everyone 🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧
I was rewatching this and found this clip. Thank you for posting it; one of the better comedic efforts.
Yeah bro, same age and feel exactly the same watching this video. some died so young.
@@shadab-8 Doesn't matter how many times we watch this show it will never get old. We used to watch in Kuwait in the 80's 😀
@@FarhanKhan-kr6xo we used to watch in Dubai then lol. Yeah still a classic.
@@shadab-8 😀
Beautifully and lovingly composed.
Thank you!
I was just going to make the same observation until I noticed tour comment
Yeah that is indeed Dickie Davies how could you get that so wrong? 🤔🙄
Just seen this as well ..glaring mistake
16:08 correction for future readers
Dickie Davies did air in the show once, but clearly he put the wrong pic for Harry Littlewood.
The best comedy serials ever . All are / were Great Legends 👍💯👍💯🙏🙏🌹🌹
I discovered this marvellous show in November 2023 through UA-cam and now I am stuck with it watching all the episodes I could find on UA-cam .
It's sad we don't find this kind of comedic and marvelous genuine comedy again in the 21st century.
Same here....now my heart is aching knowing about the characters who passed away 😢😢😢
Thank you for sharing... One of my fav SitCom.. Love them all
It was sad to learn some of the actors have passed on. Mind your language was my favourite sitcom during that time. Even till now, these characters are still vivid in my memory.
this is the only sitcom I remember growing up with my beloved late parents. thank you for the great entertainment and laughs .rip
I'm currently watching this series and only half an hour remaining, what a series ❤ really enjoyed ❤
The whole team on the screen and behind worked so precisely to entertain us that they live in our memories alive.
❤
@Emily-bh5woyes very very big big fan
I shed my tears of sadness as i have just learned of the passing of so many of them ,for i loved them so dearly,as a fan of mind your language 😢
What happened to the Chinese student played by a Penang, Malaysian?
I first watched this as a child in the 90s. I am now watching it on UA-cam.
I didn’t know the program was from the 70s
What a great show.
Thank you for this video!!
Ali Naddim that guy May he rest in peace what a talented guy he was
Look at the magnificent work they produced at that time.
Same feelings😢
One of my favourite shows.
Watched them so many times in my childhood.
I was very fond of Giovanni and always wanted to meet him.
Great nostalgic video but the ‘Age Then 57’ photo for Harry Littlewood is actually sports presenter Dickie Davis
Vety sad to know that majority of these actors passed away. They were truely gems and did wonderful job. They put smile on many faces due to their wonderful performance
THEY BROUGHT LAUGHTER AND HAPPINESS TO D AUDIENCE.. HEARTFELT THANKS TO ALL OF THEM.
Memories of the most beautiful golden days, unfortunately their departure is our great loss, but this is God will and everyone must have to leave one day It is true when they said the old is gold .
Why you call it golden days ????
My childhood favourite ❤ 😍 💕 💖 all of them no matter for how long they appeared, all of them are and were fabulous
So sad some of em passed away I loved watching. Mind your language so fun to watch em av got them on dvd s still watch em great comedy's I used to laugh my head off at them 😅
One of the best sitcoms, every single scene is a special on it is own. Sorry to know that many actors passed away.
Our lovely characters of childhood cannot be forgotten.
Simply nostalgic. It was a great entertainment. All characters were so lively. May God bless them all, those living and those who have passed away.
Great video, really interesting to see the cast then and now. Tragic news about the cast members.
I’m living their short clips, and celebrating their comic genius, on UA-cam. To me they’re all still alive and kicking. ❤❤❤
All are awesome. They make us laugh till then to now. Specially Jeovany, Max, Johan & Ali make this more interesting.
Those were the days my friend we thought they’d never end. The greatest show we had.
The TV show then was so decent and really mean something to me as a young teen. I often reminder the characters and the theme song.
To all the actors and actresses, thank you for this great memories. You are fondly remembered by so many.
R.I.P.🌹🙏
memorable series of my childhood days, all characters were great
Amazing... they still put smiles on millions of people ❤
Having discovered the series a few months ago I fell in love with it. In 1983, a few years after this show started I was in Eastbourne at the Meads School of English where I experienced most of the jokes used in the show in person. May all who took part in the series and passed away rest in peace. It is impossible not to miss those times seeing what the world has come to.
Poor old Barry Evans I wish his family had closer
