In my head I can hear Barney saying, "we've got to nip it in the bud!"... 😅😂😂
Wait?!? Otis was Goliath???!!!😮😮😮
Did I miss something? The title has nothing to do with the content. click bait.
Yes, exactly. I just blocked this channel on my laptop.
@@TribeNotSpiders i agree the way a lot of these videos are.
Yup😮
Yeah, that's EXACTLY WHAT I WAS THINKING. THEY SAY LITTLE TO NOTHING ABOUT "Little Opey Cunningham!" I think Eddie Murphy said more about him on Saturday Night Live than this entire 40 minute video! About to hit block as well!
This was the comment i was looking for
Ron Howard Does Not Hate Anyone
I thought that too. And as usual, more bs clickbait. Why they do this is beyond me?
I was about to get scammed, fortunately in the 1st minute the narrator referred to what Ron hated as an "it", so I bailed out there.
@@garykaplan7611 I didn't even bother too watch it
Nah, all lefties hate each other.
Maybe he hated the name: Opie
Watching The Andy Griffith Show was one of the highlights of my childhood! I don’t think I ever missed an episode. I had no idea “Otis” did voiceovers on my favorite cartoon, Huckleberry Hound Dog! This was what surprised me most of all the facts pointed out in the video.🌷💐
Notice how good Hal looked when not dressed ad Otis.
I still watch the show today. No violence, humor, excellent cast.
The Andy Griffith show taught kids morals and family values . Ask yourself what kids today are watching .
Baba Booey
Educational videos, unboxing toys, gameplay videos, and channels like "Ryan's World" and "Blippi."
Fort nite or something else on play station games or fishing with friends
Andy Griffith and Don Knotts BOTH cheated on their wives...some 'family values'
Garbage. That's why we still watch old shows, MeTV and TVLand.
It was Aunt bee who hated Andy in real life not Ron. He always said Andy was like a father to him and taught him so much. They were very close.
That's true and why they brought Aunt BEE's character to the show I'm still trying to figure it out. Her voice is annoying and sickening to me personally. Just saying.
Aunt Bee wanted the respect she received on stage. She was a professional actress. But no one could have replaced her on the show. She was perfect for the role. All was good in the end. Apologies were accepted and there was peace.
That’s what I had always read. I was surprised at the title.
His dad was ALWAYS his father figure . What he said was Andy was always like a family member or an Uncle to him .
That's what I have also read
I think this was the height of sitcoms. The Andy Griffith show is not my favorite show, but I recognize its excellence.
I was a cop for 24 years and I was really skinny and looked like Barnie Fife in uniform and was asked by citizens which pocket I had my Bullitt in?
The fact that caught me off guard the most was that I never learned who Ron Howard hated the most. Unless you count the pickles.
The AI voice, redundant script, bad editing and nonsequiters were very lame.
The click bate was top-notch.
Great show for kids to learn from principles
What a great show love all the cast
My father looked soooo much like Andy Griffith, young and old. It always kind of freaks me out when I see him. Dad even had a very similar demeanor as the tv character Andy created for the show minus any wise-father advice.
Favorite line from the show: Barney: “You’re going to let her make more of those kerosene cucumbers!” Aunt Bea made horrible pickles, and nobody could tell her for fear of hurting her feelings. Haaaaaa!
I have watched the show in syndication for years. I've seen every episode multiple times and still enjoy it very much.
Stop. I don't think Ron Howard could truly hate anyone.
The lady in the bathtub is Kim Novak. They really don’t put these things together very well. There were several mistakes.
I thought so.
I like the episode when Barney bought a 54 Ford four-door and it turned out to be a lemon but they busted the crooks that was my favorite
Mine was the ghost house, looking for a baseball
@@joespradley5350 yep. Actually I'd say that was my favorite also. I think that was when Otis had his still operation there
@@joespradley5350 yep that was a good one. Very intriguing. Always kept you wanting more. And that episode provided
I think that Ron Howard is still alive.
He’s 74 right now
Yes, Ron Howard is still alive. This must be AI generated content read by an ai voice. The channel gets a lot right, and a few significant things wrong.
I thought that's what was implied, I don't think so either.
Good that you mentioned it.
@@loganbakley9716Ron Howard is still alive. I checked Wikipedia. If he did pass away they would have changed it right away.
He is...
The shows with Miss Crump always seemed like a genuine romance, it came across as real and maybe now we know why. I liked her character and how her and Andy worked together as believable.
I guess UA-cam does not not have any policy regarding clickbait! Video should be removed, or properly labelled.
Opie (Ron Howard) was the smarted actor on the stage, even when only 6 years old. The most admirable. I loved them all. Once I saw Ronnie Howard at the Natural Hist Museum in NYC with his kid. I was thrilled, but did not bother them by speaking with them. Just stood there and marvelled
I spoke recently with a relative close to Don Knott's and he claimed Ron H and Andy Griffith had a very good relationship. In fact together, both payed a visit to Francis Bavier's home in North Carolina. She refused to answer the door leaving Andy and Ron on the porch. She later said she regretted the way she handled it.
We need Hollywood to make new wholesome family programs back. No cussing, killing, fighting, practically sex on the tv and so on. We have lost alot of old time values. ❤
Values, Morals, Respect, love Ethics etc.
....and for God's sake, don't show anyone mentioning having to go to the bathroom! /s
...(or any other normal human function or behavior that literally everyone has/does, and literally every child is curious about.)
@@maybe7166 yep. Bad influence on the children.
@cherrymccall Lots of us would love to see that…..but the world’s standards of behavior have passed the point of no return. “wholesome” entertainment is steadily fading in favor of anything goes….
@@OldHollywood-xh8cl 😔
I loved this show! Especially Barney Fife.
Why not just say this was a list of things about The Andy Griffith show. Ron doesn't hate anyone. Just be honest, folks will watch it anyway!
I am 66 love this!
Although I've enjoyed many of this channels videos , especially this one , I have to point out many glaring problems with their products ; They are repetitive , poorly edited , misleading in both video and audio and possibly worst of all , they indulge in , not even thinly veiled "click bait".
I still watch it everyday
Man in a hurry is my favorite.
Favorite episode was where Barney bought a fortune telling book. I think the episode was called 3 Wishes for Opie.
I enjoyed watching this since I also grew up watching it. I also hate that these always have a very misleading title also dislike the redundancy.
Most upsetting fact? Click-bait title. Here's something not mentioned: Shows such as Andy Griffith/mayberry RFD/Gomer Pyle and the other association Beverly Hillbillies" and "Petticoat Junction," as well as shows like "The Farmer's Daughter" were obliterated from prime time by the so-called "Rural Purge" of the late 1960's/early 70's. That topic deserves its own video....hopefully with a non-clickbait title. :P
I thought Ron Howard as Opie hating every moment of eating pickles on set. I especially love them!
Nobody hated anybody. Bad title, but good video
Ron Howard not dead
Where's my FAVORITE TV character of ALL TIME? EARNEST T. BASS !!!
Mine too
I love Aunt Bee, Opie, Andy and Barney. They made the show great! Also Goober
Was always one of favorite shows 😎😊
Well that was careless. The image of "The Courtship of Eddie's Father" was not from the movie, it was from the television series. Also, although this title was extremely click-baity, the video never tells who Ron "truly hated" in your title. I'm surprised that you didn't mention Don Knotts becoming a recurring character on Matlock especially considering how repetitive this video is.
click bait title. No reference to this in the entire program. AND: RON HOWARD IS STILL ALIVE. Get your facts straight.
I hate dishonest clickbait.
Clickbait title.
Ron Howard is still alive. Andy Griffith is no longer with us.
What was the publicity picture of actress Kim Novak in there for? (Among the many movies she starred in, my favorite movie of hers was "Bell, Book, and Candle," a romantic comedy co-staring Jimmy Stewart where she played a modern day Witch who had a Siamese Cat named Pyewacket who also had some occult powers)
Love that movie!
Ron Howard is still alive at 70 years old.
Huh? What was the publicity picture of movie actress Kim Novak in a bubble bath in there for?
Kim Novak was never in anything with Andy Griffith. She was strictly a movie actress, and a very popular one. Her role in the movie
"Bell, Book, and Candle"was my favorite. A romantic comedy with co-star Jimmy Stewart, Kim played a modern day Witch, who had a Siamese Cat named Pyewacket which also had a few occult powers of its own.
Ron Howard is alive
Need to get your facts straight. Corresponding photos are also not correct.
Thank you.
OMG how was it possible to have a family-friendly show without the Ten Commandments displayed?
One in every bathroom /s
When they say Francis, (Aunt Bea) retired to North Carolina they show a short film of Mexico City. LOL
She lived in a small town, Siler City, until she died.
How did our young people change so much? Did Hollywood have such a great influence so drasticallly? Is it too late to try introducing values?
It’s never too late to instill morality and values.
Actually Ang is the natural nickname for Andy’s who aren’t named Andrew. I know a few Andy’s who are Ang’s too.

At 70, Ron Howard FINALLY Admits How Much He Truly Hated Him. Ron Howard didn't admit ANYHING about hating Andy in this video. Misleading CLICKBAIT Junk.
I loved and still love The Andy Griffith show. I grew up on it and my family watched it as me and my kids watched it. I still watch the reruns today. The only character that was and still is even more so today that really gets under my Skin is Aunt Bee. I just can't take her shrilly voice. It's more sickening to me today I must admit. I often wondered why couldn't they have gotten someone else to play the part? Aunt BEE and her being thirsty for a man used to make me think who would want to be with you with that killing voice.
Anyway I still enjoy the show today. 😅
In most episodes, the North Carolina State Bureau of Investigation (NCSBI) bulletin hangs on the wall--really distributed by the NCSBI, and updated regularly. Although not specifically stated, when Barney left the show, he became a detective in Raleigh, NC--the home of the NCSBI! Francis Bavier retired to live in Chatham County, NC. George Lindsay became a regular on the tv show HeeHaw. Your title is click-bait, as no such announcement was made. Floyd's Barber Shop was visible in an episode of Star Trek TOS.
The main characters that i loved besides Andy and Barney were OTIS, THE DARLING 'S, The FUN GIRLS, and The Nut that loved to throw rocks through windows ( cant think of his name, was it ERNEST. P.) Floyd and most of the rest of the cast, again Except Aunt Bee.
Ernest T. BASS. He was my favorite, as well as Barney.
I did not know that Barney and Andy were related! 3:40
Ton howard is onec of the best film directors in the USA.
Nothing like a bot narrivitive.
I would give one thousand, thousand dollars to have a human do the narration!
Ron Howard was in the movie not the tv series of "Courtship of eddies father" whose picture you showed. Otherwise good stuff
Andy and don played good parts too
Clickbait. Unmitigated BS...
All this & Ron Howard hated pickles.
Ron Howard did not play in the Courtship of Eddie's Father!! it was Brandon Cruz. You should know this if you're going to make video's of this sort.
In the movie he did.
@@Daniel-ow2io Good point. I didn’t know about the movie. My apologies
So who did Ron Howard "Truly hate"? did i miss it? LOL
Ron loved Andy. He said they were close and Andy was like a father to him who taught him so much. Aunt bee, Francis hated Andy. They clashed and did not speak except during shooting their lines.
NOBODY! It was AUNT BEE, that really Hated Andy Griffith on and off set. I don't know why they even brought BEE'S character into the show because she was Annoying with her sickening Voice, being thirsty for a man, and that fake prim and proper persona just didn't fit. I loved ALL the other characters except BEE.
Ever since the movie, Andy Griffith, starred in, A face in the crowd.. I could not watch any of his other TV or movie rolls. All I saw was that Deceptive character in everything else he did. Every time he smiled
Sorry to hear that Gort. I loved the movie "A Face in the Crowd". And I love The Andy Griffith show.
Ellen wasnt Andy's first love interest it was Opie's teacher
OMG this narrator sounds just like the guy from the Friday Plans commercials (he'll take 100mg thankyouverymuch) lol. I would not be surprised if it was the same voice actor.
I used to love this show as a kid, but it lost it's appeal after Don Knotts left the show.
No mention of whom Ron Howard really hated. It is only inferred that it was Andy Griffith...
Unbelievable that Ron Howard didn't like Andy Griffith
I agree with that last comment
Whow.I loved the show
But I was11years old
Do you think Top Exploration should let Ron Howard know that he is not 70 but has already passed ? @29:16 they list him with the actors who have passed away .
Baba Booey
Who did Ron Howard hate? Never told, but a good headline to get viewers!!!
Another mislabeled video. This is a trick to get people to watch these things. I am a North Carolinian and I know that service personnel on the Outer Banks where Andy lived, hated to see him coming because of his attitude toward people. He was not a nice man. In fact, I have a personal friend who was mistreated by Andy. My friend is a very sweet and loving person who would not intentionally harm anyone. This completely changed her opinion of Andy Griffith.
I used to whistle along to fishen hole.I cant do it now,I dont have my teeth anymore ha ha ha
Headline is misleading.🤥
Good video, even if the name didn't fit. It seemed like the only thing. Ron Howard hated was the pickles.
Back when I was an OTR driver I made a delivery to a place called Leonardtown, Maryland. Leonardtown reminded me a lot of Mayberry.
They did not say that Ron Howard hated Andy Griffith...they just put that on thete so you would watch it....that sucks!
What people will do to make a buck. Give out click bait all the time.
Ron Howard is Alive!
Ron Howard wouldn't be as big without that show.
The great mystery is
OPIE
Where did that name come from?
The Bible, or so I’ve been told.
29:08 asks "Where are they now?" and then says Ron Howard has passed. I couldn't find anything that says Ron Howard has passed.???
Doppie. Opie
Did you ever answer the question in the title??????
I guess that the hatred that you infer in your clickbait title refers to Ron Howard's distaste for pickles? You need to re-edit your title. And you also say that Ron Howard is dead. He's very much alive! You should re-edit that , too. Thumbs down!
Don't know how this ended up in my suggestion box but I wish that it did not. This video is full of inaccuracies.
Narrator says first than Ron is dead. What a Maroon
Maroon?????
Ahh…, pardon me, but Ron Howard has not died, dispelling what your narrative is claiming in this video ( 29:04 ) !
Also that isn’t a photograph of a young Frances Bavier you have at timestamp ( 30:38 ), I don’t know who she is, but she’s not Bavier. Then at ( 30:50 ) you have a photograph of actress Celeste Holme, when you’re describing Bavier’s later life!
Oh yeah, by the way at ( 33:41 ) that’s not a photograph of Aneta Corsaut you’re attempting to describe, it’s film actress Kim Novak, who I don’t think had anything to do with the Andy Griffith Show.
Come on!! There are more screw ups in your video than I’ve listed here, but I’m not going to spend all day pointing them out.
I think more technical expertise would go into the manufacture of adobe submarines than you put into your videos.
Do you ever double check your research before coughing up this crap on UA-cam?!
I never heard anything about Thelma Lou or the Darlings and Ernest T. Bass
Yes, the video title is a 'bait' to bring in us Mayberrians to listen in like Floyd and Barney and Thelma Lou would do.
So, Mr Clickbait, who did Ron Howard truly hate?
If you sent Don Knotts a live round these days, you'd be arrested the next day, lol.
So who did Ron Howard hate?
Theres No such place as Mayberry NC it's Mt. Airy NC and No such place as Mount Pilot it's Pilot Mountain State Park which is close to Mount Airy NC. Besides Mayberry wasn't filmed in Mount Airy only very little was filmed in NC. Most of it was filmed in California to make people think It was filmed in NC. Andy and Aunt Bee both were from NC. But don't forget there's no such place as Mayberry NC but Mount Airy NC they call Mayberry and Pilot Mountain 🏔️ the state Park next to Mount Airy they called Mount Pilot on the show. They do have places in Mount Airy to look as if it was places from the show but not really in the show.
You watch the video. And he did NOT hate anyone.
Why wasnt it named the Andy Taylor show?
Fake. The only thing Ron Howard hated were the pickles Aunt Bea attempted to make. The narrator asks which "fact" we liked. How would we know which is a fact when the title is a complete lie?
It was alluded that Ron Howard is dead, at my writing he is not. Ron W4BIN
