I may be stating the obvious here, but one does not usually need to throw away an electrical appliance only because the battery has been drained. Consider the environmental impact. 🤓
SAME. It’s so obvious watching me now like, HELLOOOO, it’s a “fabricator” not a “storage compartment”. But at the same time there’s so much to learn in a new game I get why I didn’t pick up on it. 😅😅
TIPS: -You swim faster with empty hands -Fish are easy to catch at night, they glow and are slower -Carefully look at the description before eating something. Cooked food rots, Cured food does not.
"I need fiber mesh" right as you swim by the creepvine, then "I so need that medkit" right as you turn past the fabricator...priceless! Really makes finally finding it satisfying doesn't it? And don't worry, we all did stuff like that, more times than we can count. Good editing too btw.

welcome to a world of science where exploration, research lead to progress, and progress begets more progress. No matter how slow you may feel you are sure to get much faster the longer you play😊 can't wait to see where you are in a few episodes
Some non-spoiler pro tips: -Shipwrecks are your best bet to find a lot of blueprints.. but not all! -The airbladder is both fun to use and can get you out of a jam when you're low on 02 -Beacons are underrated and can be placed when you find something interesting and want to come back - the habitat builder will lead to storage solutions! Awesome progress! keep it up 💪
You also used to be able to build on reefbacks ha ha. So it was quite easy to lose your reefback bases. You could also dig sand and make giant holes wherever you wanted. This game has changed so much. One of my favorites and hope you stick with it!

At 10:18 she still doesn't know about med kits. omg. OH wait - at 15:52 she figured out med kits, AND that she had a fabricator all along. Watching her play this game, I realized how much this game DOESN'T explain things. She dropped a Seaglide and made another one because the battery was at 21%. Actually I seen this on many other streams before - it's completely unknown that you can swap out batteries, AND you can charge them. The game REALLY needs to make a point that you can do that, and HOW to do it.
it literally says (R) once it drains all battery. And I never seen anyone do this type of shit,I saw other people just craft new ones. And its a mystery why would anyone craft another when it was just at 21%,you can make that trip twice with that charge level.... She doesn't use her brain, thats the problem.I think it would be logical to not craft new tools all the time since the battery doesn't last so long in these tools and you can even craft just the batteries that would mean you can change out them...plus what fucking game would make you craft tools out of rare materials just to use it some times and craft new ones????? I guess some games need a certain IQ lvl checker, which means if the player's IQ is under it then you can't play it...
Hi! There are some tips, non-spoilers 1. Don't make a new seaglide, you only need to change the battery in it. (By holding the seaglide in your hand and pressing R) 2. Don't go to the Aurora right away, it's dangerous and most people are terrified to do that that early in the game 3. You can turn off the light on your seaglide by pressing right mouse key, it saves some % on the battery 4. Grav Trap is a great thing! It's a ball that you put outside in the water and it "attracts" fish to it, so you don't have to run after fish to catch them all the time 5. You are eating decomposing/rotten fish and your water goes down 6. When you go to Aurora (prepared please haha), the entrance is by going on the platform where you've been and couldn't find the entrance. There's a BIG piece of metal that you can walk on. Go on it and you'll find the entrance
Erm, with respect, having played this game a LOT. Go to the Aurora whenever you want, even if you don't have a laser cutter you can get some stuff. Lights on seaglides/vehicles do not drain batteries faster, but YES I cringed so hard when she ate 4 rotten/decomposing fish ha ha. But you're new! It's perfectly fine to make mistakes and try things out!
@@cobrazax Actually yes, the light on the seaglide does drain battery. You can run around on dry land and use it as a poor flashlight and the battery will go down. Or just climb into the life pod and fail to put it away, your battery will deplete. The SeaMoth is a different story. Its lights don't matter (which is odd, I have seen cars with dead batteries because they left the lights on, which is why most cars today turn off their own lights automatically after a short time). Spoilers for future episodes below. If you install a spotlight on your base, it will drain power, but the floodlight and the light stick don't since they both require a battery in construction, which apparently lasts forever.
@@xlotux In that case, I don't know what you mean by "photo mode". To me that means "turning the HUD off so you can take fullscreen screenshots". Unless you mean getting rid of the diving mask edge as well, which you can also do.

Salted fish will dehydrate you, so when you eat that kind of food, be prepared to drink as well a lot to compensate.

That emergency broadcast message with the "...9 9 9 9 9 hours..." is a Portal2 reference, it was how long you'd been asleep.

My common advice I need to give is that they have the same voice actor play 3 different characters
Really?! That’s interesting!!
i'm surprised you haven't made any more oxygent tanks for better and longer air
