Frog farms and the must do meta to keep up... reminds me of what Blizz did to SoD P3 with incursions and princess runs.
Blizz killed the fun factor of SoD... then, in the middle of a season. Hit the players with a entire phase drought.
Weeks and weeks of drought in the middle of a pre-planned season...seems contrived.
now those Alliance sissies can bubble hearth away from world PvP twice as often lmao.
Got to remember that the Devs that still actually play the game play Paladins and Mages.
mop remix was just not sold to us as massive grind for bronze to upgrade. In fact it was sold as the opposite.
Why do you need to upgrade? Ilvl 342 is plenty high to clear raids at, just spend the bronze you make on cosmetics? Pretty simple solution bud

It wasn't sold to us at all, it's a side game, one of many included in a standard sub, it's awesome. I edited the word free out of this because podantic people just argued about it, petty very petty.
The cloaks were never what made froggers broken. It was the sheer amount of bronze they received from doing the farm. If someone spent enough time frogging, they would have maxed out their gear. Which means rolling back their cloak was a slap on the wrist

If you've fully upgraded your gear, you'd realise that cloak is absolutely what matters the most in this mode. My cloak gives around half of my entire stats if not more and I'm fully upgraded. When everyone catches up in gear, you'd realise that you'll never catch up to a frogger's cloak that gives 200k stamina and 30k mainstat.
So it was reported the frogs did not drop alot of bronze it was the threads they were farming which lead to them clearing raids and hc raids which lead to faster bronze regardless the event is for getting mogs and mounts that are probably going away for good either in the ww or after honestly imo all old content should be done like this atleast a cycle because we are all over farming old content it's boring af and not super rewarding they could remove Timewalking and just do timerunner events that last a month people would be happy he'll even make it were you could just have a timerrunner main time walking sucks imo and this version of time walking is way better and more rewarding

And the only way it affected your progress that instead of playing the game, finishing campaign and spamming dungeons for tons of thread and bronze you spent your time whining on forums. Otherwise they just made the game better by highlighting the issues. In the end everybody got their free 1st tier upgrade by handing out 40k bronze to max level characters.

The anger at Remix is confusing to me. We're literally 20% into the event and people are angry they aren't 1 shotting raids. I've been having a blast with the even and am grateful Blizz created the game mode for us to have fun waiting for WW
Probably because they shouldn't have framed it as being super op and being crazy if they were going to be nerfing everything and making you feel worse and worse.
People aren’t one shotting bosses? I did all the heroic raids back to back last night in pugs and it maybe took an hour to clear all of them. I don’t even play that much but I feel like I’ve almost done all the content.

Cloaks not being account-wide really hurts the league and the replayability of it imo.. You're basically penalized for playing alts.
After preach I understand why they want it to be super silly high end fun. It's just another camp of players. I am not part of those, I hate it when another player just speedruns content while I might as well go afk...
Its very obvious that they made the upgrade cost as high as it is simply to create a time sink and keep people playing for aslong as possible.
Early upgrade levels between 346-400~ should be cheap and then start scaling. That way it will feel alot more fair to people
You are right, cuzz MoP remix is literally waiting room for new expansion. So keep players in that event as long as possible.

@@askekrause3909 It's too late to scale back the upgrade costs. Nothing to do with the costs themselves. I hit level 70 three days ago, and I'm about halfway done with gear upgrades.
@@msscott22 Yes, but the upgrade costs themselves are not an issue considering the extreme amount of bronze you get if you just play the game. There is no "too late" to fix something that really isn't a problem. They already fixed the problem when they increased bronze gains and buffed the daily quests.
I’m sitting here feeling galaxy brain that I’ve been looking at MoP remix as a way to pass the time and get transmogs.
All the salt has made it very clear that I don’t need to set foot in the raids at all. I understand why people that want that kind of challenge would be angry at the changes, but for what I’m wanting out of the event, it’s been fun.
Remember: gear is seasonal, transmog is forever.
Not sure how much of it is the changes (well at least 50% of it is from the timerunning mastery buff), but doing the heroic world tour and one dungeon and one scenario for the dailies is worth like 120 thousand bronze a day. It's not difficult either.
I think one of the biggest issues with Remix is that they only tested it in a single weekend, and did not change ANYTHING between the PTR and actual event, we told them in the PTR that the Frog Farm WAS A THING and it wasn't addressed... as was MANY other bugs that were said in the PTR weekend BUT were still there in live... So... Think Blizz needs to hire more people to listen to feedback and communicate that to devs.
No no, they did change some things. Like cloak not being account wide, nerfing abilities, tinker gems etc etc. So they have nerfed us since PTR
They fired the people that would of found that stuff out.. and i am going to guess the rest are like that one DPS you think it a bot but really shy or scared of talking.
They did change some stuff, they changed the stuff that no one asked to be changed. In typical blizzard fashion, they ignore the actual problems, and find problems in things that aren't actual problems.
No Place Like Home would've been absolutely huge in Classic WoW when the hearthstone cooldown was an hour. But in the modern game there are so many portals around the world, 900% speed flying, and teleportation items that I hardly ever use my hearthstone anymore. I certainly never need to use it two times every 10 minutes like humans will now be able to do.
As for the bronze thing they should've just made two currencies that you get in equal proportion, one for cosmetics and one for gear upgrades.
The only thing I would use it for is doing world quests, where being able to hearth twice might make for more efficient paths around the zones.
This will incentivize Humans to put their hearthstone in a “median” location that isn’t a portal spot and hearth pretty much whenever getting to that location would be “on the way”.

I've always wanted Orgrimmar to expand. Azshara is right there and already shaped like the Horde symbol. Goblin engineers, earthen artificers, and Blackrock smiths could easily work together to expand to at least Boralus levels of size. You could even have parts of it that are questing areas like in BfA cities. Hell, Zaralek (and War Within) have this new technology to make Garrosh's (and later Sylvanas') underground base a seamless addition for our undead friends.
Bronze needs to be buffed or upgrades needed nerfed and cloak power (the achievement beyond XII) needs to scale higher as the event goes on. They need to let characters mail gems to each other as well. This mode needs to be more alt friendly.
I'm thinking the Orgrimmar revamp is likely to come along with the Midnight world revamp. Seems like the Draenei are getting a new city to which I'm guessing will also come with Midnight
I say bring on the revamp. If some people want to stay in old Orgrimmar with phasing.
Seems like we're getting a Silvermoon revamp too ( from Alleria's recent story )
I really hope Midnight will be worth the wait and they can deliver on all the revamps. The world sorely needs it.

Yeah. The fact that Orgrimmar is the same way.. Since Garrosh upgraded. But at the same thing.. Orgrimmar is still the exact same way as in the past. In Vanila. When you consider the races that are part of the Horde. You would think that they would bring with them some kind of improvements.. But nothing has happened. The blood elves are there. They may have Quelthalas.. But Orgrimmar is still their capital and home. So why arent they there as well. And maybe with some blood elf stuff architecture. It all looks barbaric.. Savage. Old and... just old. Like they are in the stone age. But they have technology. They have magic. They have fucking SIEGE ENGINES... Somehow they dont have materials to build homes? Makes no sense. Orgrimmar as the capital of the horde is a bit to much ORC.. But not just any kind of orc.. OLD Orc. These orcs should be more civilized NOW.. Not barbaric savages. So why arent they improving. Building better. Instead of something like. BIG WALL... And then everythign being open. LIke its not made for people LIVING There.. But for war.Even before, back in Vanila version. That was how the Horde capital was.
Considering Horde relations internally, they would not improve. They’re very insular and splintered, united only by common enemies. The Alliance, on the other hand, should be far more influenced by the races in it, but mostly isn’t.
At the very least, the multiple wars basically purging the most vicious and evil of the Horde should be reflected visually. Though, at least Dragonflight took advantage of it narratively. Which is nice.
mop remix is largely fine. the issues are top heavy and they have some kinks to work out in the endgame space, but for the majority of people who logged onto remix to get some cosmetics, level some alts, and have a chill time experiencing MoP content as current-ish content, i think its a homerun
So many are treating Remix like it's going to be over in a week or so and freaking out about stampeding to endgame being maxxed. We've got three months of this, that's plenty of time to casually play, get a bunch of alts leveled and get a bunch of cosmetics. For the content I'm doing, I don't need to upgrade my gear beyond drops and by the end of this I'll have all the cosmetics and mounts I want. Yeah, there are flaws with Remix, but hopefully should they decide to do a remix version of the other expansions, they'll learn from how MoP was and make changes.
No one wants to play for three months to get the item level frog farmers got in three days and didn’t fix.

I can think of a few uses for multiple hearthstone charges. Less of them, now that I've bought all the world boss mounts from MoP mind you. Honestly the better racial would be a racial that always teleports you to Stormwind. A special Stormwind hearth that drops you in front of the castle or something. Honestly fits with the name "there's no place like home" better.
you can already get that, there's a stormwind teleport cloak you can buy for next to nothing from guild vendors that essentially acts as a permanent SW hearth, and you get to keep it even if you leave the guild you bought it with.

You can aslo use the Tol Barad Tabard which basically takes you to Stormwind too. The Boralas Ring is also good with a short cd, or Dalaren Hearthstone. Getting to Stormwind nowadays is very easy and accessible tbh
@@lassehedegaard9054 I'm not saying it isn't, I can pop Jaina's Locket and jump into the Dalaran portal too if I wanna get back to SW. I'm just saying in terms of racial abilities, something called "there's no place like home" feels like it should send you back to your cultural hub, rather than two trips back to One Keg if that's where you set your hearth.
ive played a lot of mop remix, i really enjoy it. There are improvements they will make next time, but overall this is way more fun endgame for s4 than s4 is.
Agreed. People are just ridiculously impatient. They dont realize how balancing works. Remix is supposed to keep players entertained until the pre-patch in August. If they allowed us to gear too quickly then the no-lifers will have everything done in a few weeks and resume whining that there’s nothing to do.
It’s just insane to me. People have no chill. It used to be a career interest for me but I would absolutely hate to be a game dev these days.
@@Scuuurbs Also, (sorry to spam your inbox) I agree that game dev CAN be a super demoralizing job but you gotta remember that Blizzard has had 17+ years of work digging themselves in this hole with their playerbase. They are NOT trusted by their players for very valid reasons. Even WHEN they make good decisions, they are never given the benefit of the doubt because they've lost that privilege long ago. Is it fair to the devs who joined recently? No, but that's what the signed up for unfortunately.

All Blizzard needs to do is make bronze an account wide currency. Boom, now people can level any character they want and funnel bronze to one character for player power.

The human racial would be alot more interesting if it was similar to vulpara, instead of two charges at one location let people have two hearthstones that can be set to different places. Keep one near a raid you farm each week and the other in the major city, use it while lvling up to quickly jump to a bank to dump greens you wanna sell for transmog and then jump back to the zone you were questing in. Like so many more uses for having two locations vs two charges but only one location.
they should change it to "home is where the heart is" or something and let you set two locations

I'm enjoying Remix. Im running dungeons and raids, getting tons of mounts and bronze. I'm not worried about maxing gear because its going to be replaced in TWW anyway. It's a quick way to level missing characters and that's what I'm doing.
Im enjoying it so far, just levelling alts and chasing those achievement awards and any Xmogs/mounts or whatever just takes my fancy
Their defense of the high cost of upgrades sounds like defending elites sense of superiority, but if you are correct that the bulk of those elites actually advocate for reduced costs, then who are blizz holding this line for?
Players that actually wanted a 3 month event, not a 3 day one.
You're crazy if you think the cost is too high. It barely takes a week to get max ilvl if you go hard, and it takes maybe two weeks if you chill and only do dailies and one or two easy raids a day.

I'll be honest, this year I've played classic era realms, Wrath, Season of Nerfs, Retail and MoP remix. And out of all of these I think the latter one has actually been the most fun so far for me personally. Its far from perfect, but the core idea of it is actually really damn good and can certainly be expanded upon in the future!
16:00 Killing things in one place for two days straight is how a friend and I got from Lv52 to Lv60 back in vanilla. Because we had run out of quests to do.
So we went to Plaguelands, Tarrin's Field or whatever it was called, right at the border to the Eastern Plagues, and he would bear-pull a train of about 20-30 mobs, and once he had gathered enough of them he'd hone in on me, past me really, so I could Nova-Cone of Cold-Blizzard-Cone of Cold-Nova-repeat them and nuke off stragglers. When we'd both sit down while I drank the mana back up, and he'd already run around the field again to collect the respawn together while my Mana was still only halfway full again. When the train arrived back, I stood up and did the ice-rotation.
Some Horde was watching us from afar, sat down on a log. PvP server, but they never interfered. Looked as if they were trying to learn. One time they applauded.
Two days later we hit 60. It was basically a LAN-party as through that I was over at his place, fixed a PC for one of his friends and then played with that. We had both given up on getting to 60, the game entirely to be honest, but there decided to do some quests together and then we figured doing this, as we did it with smaller groups during our travels together finishing up those last hardest Silithus Quests and such that were available.
We hit 60 just in time to join our Raid Alliance for Molten Core.
A couple weeks later we had Europe's 7th Ragnaros kill. Or so our raidleader informed us when we finally got it. Our maintank priest turned into Shadowform and started dancing... Shadowpriests were of course forbidden, and that stunt had broken that preconception that we needed superlocked superspecific skillings. It is so much more important that you know what you're doing, than have a few bigger numbers across the screen.
Sadly Blizzard never capitalized on focusing on mechanics, and thus fun, but only the numbers game for the most part. The latter is lazy and uncreative design.
Experience of MoP Remix has been: Fun for levels 10-60. Experience a region that I only touched in order to get certain mounts or the half hill farm. The downside has always been the gear realization and how after level 60 my character went from being overpowered to just feeling like I’m playing regular retail wow which introduces a slog to the fast experience I’m wanting/expecting out of the event. the biggest thing with the high cost to level up your gear is that it discourages more casual players to do higher level content (at least that’s how it is to me). However, it has been fun achievement hunting with the new achievements remix brought and earning cool cosmetics even though I haven’t committed to purchasing anything with bonze yet
I agree that having Bronze tied to both Transmogs/Mounts & Gear Upgrades probably wasn't the best decision.
I've played Shaman a long time, once you have two hearthstones, there will times you want a 3rd.
The No Place Like Home replacement just makes bubble hearth that much more funny.
Honestly, it would be pretty damn nice if Orgrimmar get's a harbor the size of Stormwind's
They should just update Azshara, we have that huge goblin navy base with a giant turret we don't use. Org doesn't need docks, needs more zeppelin towers
I just want to be able to finally 'Use' my Tusks of Mannoroth Cosmetic that I had farmed the bones for
I hear you on the not just getting your account upgraded or a code emailed if you buy the physical copy. But correct me if I am wrong, they don't charge you until it ships... which means you could technically benefit from the upgrade and then cancel your order... that opens up issues.
I love so much about how it has been setup - my goal was "O I can get crazy enough to solo normal raids or maybe heroic to get those tusks farmed solo" - so much of that was assuming, as they said in a marketing vid - that my cloak would all be account wide, not set levels for alts. It feels hobbled in a mode that should be firing on all cylinders. I wanna level alts, I wanna unlock all those mogs and I wanna feel crazy powerful as I go and the more time I invest.
All the farms and people optimizing out the fun to be efficient is always going to happen, its just high lighted all of remixs problems real quick. I just don't want it to take 40 + days of dailies to maybe make one character OP whilst trying to level others for heritage mogs.
I agree 100% with upgrade costs needing to come down. I have a 405 hunter (not from gulp frogs or goat farming) and I want to play my SPriest but it just feels like my god. I have to do this grind AGAIN. Feels bad man, especially when most of remix has been fun. Blizz needs to do something. Fast.

It was mentioned as part of what you would get with the Collectors Edition and we havent heard anything either (in regards to the beta access)
I did engage, I was there when MoP hit & did it with alts so there no real feeling of not getting everything done. Kinda glad looking at how its going.
A second charge to a hearth can be useful for M+, it has happened more than once during lower keys that we clear the dungeon too quickly and my hearth isn't up yet. Another situation more relevant to other seasons that have previous xpack dungeons is if the group falls apart then you don't have to make the walk of shame back to the current expansion major city.

An updated/upgraded Orgrimmar as a counterweight to the new Draenei city? Hell yes!
I understand all the awkwardness about Remix. I personally am holding my bronze till the last week or so before I go on a mass spending spree, because upgrade costs are too much. But also, it's fn fun as hell so I mean....
I've played a lot of remix, and I can say I'm happy to lvl another way than through df for the 12th time. The gameplay and changes to remix are fun, but definitely hope for gear upgrade milestones/discounts. Getting a char to 70 and spending 100% of bronze on a few upgrades hurts
I’ve absolutely been enjoying remix. It got me to try classes I’ve yet to attempt playing after playing the game nearly 20 years. The raids and dungeons are nutty and ridiculously fun to steamroll through. I’ve yet to try mythic and heroic modes for anything, but I’m really just here for transmog and levelling my alt army for TWW and it’s been perfect for that.
I’ve been playing a good amount each day, as I’m recovering from surgery, and I’m up to 100k cloak threads and my upgradable gear is up to 500/514. I’d definitely be fine with upgrade costs being reduced, as it is definitely a grind. But, I feel that my character is almost maxed out, with only 150k bronze left to fully upgrade. I never touched frogs or any of the other cheesy hyperspawn farms and I feel like I’ll be done with this toon and a few alts for mount buying way before the event ends. I would have been happier if it was even slower, but for those that don’t have all day to play, reducing costs or adding in bigger chunks of bronze as rewards just makes sense.
Hindsight, definitely should’ve been two currencies, one for cosmetics and one for gear upgrading. Great video!
I've only been using the remix to level characters for my warband and get transmogs. I think it's been mostly fun, but I haven't upgraded a single item, and shelve characters within hours of dinging 70. If I get all the classes leveled I might start playing it for endgame content, but I'm also not yet finished collecting all the Dragonflight transmogs.
Thank you for making this video, hopefully it gets them to backtrack on their stubborn stance.
I've on occasion watched your videos, not all that often, but over the last few days I've definitely been paying attention to you. I have recommendations turned off, so I come to youtube with intention. Anyway, I also rarely comment on anything. That being said take this comment as a cookie (which it literally is), and I'm going to subscribe and like your video, because I truly appreciate you and your team, I think you guys do a spectacular job. And I primarily PvP, but when it comes to PvE content, I'd rate your videos as high as Preach back in the day.
In summary, thanks for being helpful, enjoyable to watch, and I appreciate the frequency of your uploads. I have no idea what your schedule is, but make sure you take some time off for yourselves. At least over the last week it seems like you all have been going hard. I see it.

Me and my friends ended up farming a bit of frogs the day before they fixed them, for 30-60 minutes. We did farm around 250-500 stats in each of the stats categories on the cloak, along with maybe 400-500 charms. (It's just rough estimates as I didn't really pay super close attention to the exact numbers at that point.), but then we got super bored and left to do more fun activities.
Ultimately we got flagged by the frog cloak nerf and when I logged out a couple of days later after doing all the (at that point) farming activities like questing for the completion of achievements, rare hunting for the zone achievements, scenario, dungeon, raid achievements to unlock the accessories, etc. Got rolled back from 4500 to 2500, even though I didn't have any crazy cloak or gear.
I felt the nerf hit probably many like me hard, and those that actually exploited the farm to max their gear got a small slap on the wrist in comparison. I think they should have rolled back people properly, or just not bothered if it was such a rush job. Besides, all the other farms got just nerfed without rollbacks, so it doesn't make sense why just the frogs.
I feel sorry for those that didn't even realize what they engaged in was "exploiting" as it lead to a punishment. I hope they do better in future remix content, some of my guildies just don't bother to play now because they are not super interested to dump a lot of time to farm a lot, as it's kind of a bronze farming simulator without any "easy farm" options available right now.

Orgrimmar is lackluster compared to stormwind which feels and looks like an actual city
I've just been using the 60k from leveling an alt to 70 to buy mounts I missed. Having a blast.
I have been loving remix. Running lots of normals, queued content, world bosses, leveling alts, etc. Bronze spending wise my main is just under half way through the upgrade levels, and I am just about half way through the purchasable rewards. I do not like the argument about having two currencies during the event as we likely wouldn't be getting more than we are now, but it would be divided for us and we would not have the agency to choose where we want to spend it (upgrades or cosmetics), likely making it take twice as long or more to do either.
I do think the one thing they really should do though is apply the discount to upgrading alts. This is my only complaint to the current state of remix, as they already fixed my other ones (account jewelry and thread drop rate / spools).
They said that these characters can be transferred into the new expansion, if the item level max stat is 556 and they keep that number the same. That's a nice starting character for the expansion
They should have made either a different currency for upgrades that don’t take away from collections, or they should have just given out more consistent solid gear when doing harder content in Remix. They also could have made the upgrades significantly lower cost cuz we are also at the end of an expansion so who rly cares if our remix toons come out at normal to heroicish gear. Doesn’t seem like it needed to be this complicated.

The new Human racial would've been so fun to use in WPvP back when the Paladin bubble was simply unbreakable and lasted 10+ seconds.
They’re not removing diplomacy for player power. With warbands sharing rep, everyone would be playing a human for the bonus.
I'm cool with the Pandaria bronze choice the more I play it. I'm now reaching the point on my DK where I have been thread and bronze farming and starting to see the beginnings of the busted power it brings and it feels like a reward for lots of hard work. I've started doing heroic raids and the challenge increase and better gear drops are fun. I do think the bronze reduction being account wide would be a great reward for hitting that power and gear level peak. A sign that you did the work and so you can get your alts there easier.
Wished to do the endgame content, but looked at the bronze costs and missed the early farms. So I have been just leveling alts, keeping the bronze for long term stuff (Transmogs and mounts) and hoping that at some point they relent and make it reasonable to get upgraded gear and actually enjoy playing the lvl70 chars.

Is leveling in remix fast even if you avoid group content?
If you get the last infinite power achi and get some threads of XP, then yes
From what I have heard, even with the achievements, its still slower than retain.
@@awworrell It is slower you can get to max in retail in 16 hours played.
I’m loving the event. My only gripe is that I only spent 20 minutes farming frogs and Blizz nerfed my cloak (95% of those threads were gained in normal content) and prevented me from getting endless bronze via alts.
I feel like I’ve earned my current power in Remix. And while it can suck, deciding whether to purchase transmog or gear upgrade makes it feel more impactful.
Id love to see an in-game event to allow horde players to vote for a new warchief. I dont know how they could do this without alliance mains sneaking in to ruin the vote and probably lots of other unforseen shenanigans but it would be cool to see something like that. The horde has been stagnating lore-wise for a while now. I know the alliance is also suffering from this but at least they got a new night elf city recently
I'm having a ton of fun in Remix, i've leveled so many alts, been playing daily again.
I was sad to see darnassus go as it was my happy place as a child. But I do think orgrimmar is due an update with how far the orcs and horde have come

20:00 there is clearly a lot of prep for world revamp for Midnight. Which is funny that we get a new world revamp in expansion called MIdnight, after all the talk about Twilight in Cataclysm.
I was thinking about this for a long time, they keep adding new cities every expansion as capital hub, dividing the comunity later on and having nearly empty cities. If they reworked the OG stormwind and orgrimmar ( they have place to expand in both cities) it would be awesome ( to have them as current expansion capital)
I’ve been enjoying just leveling up alts tbh! Learning some classes/specs I’ve never played and it’s super quick. I wish I’d just saved my bronze for upgrading my main instead of sinking it on all the mounts and transmog 🤣. But mounts and mog are forever so, I’ll continue doing my dailies etc there’s still plenty of time left :)
Overall have enjoyed MOP remix.
Recent returning player, had just hit 70 before remix came out so a fun way of experiencing different classes.
Admittedly I intended to simply lvl some alts and be done but have really enjoyed one particular class, now want to max gear and the bronze cost is harsh, especially as I’d splashed a bit on mounts and cosmetics before knowing about the bronze enhancements (the 30k you get on hitting lvl 70) I now wish I’d only bought gear upgrades on the class I’m really enjoying and bought cosmetics on the other alts I don’t plan to main for the next expansion.
Either way I’m still enjoying the experience, cool watching bosses melt haha… just wish I was the one melting the bosses!
For me remix has been really fun and Ive found with playing alts im getting a good amount of bronze? I really dont feel too much pressure to upgrade my gear tbh
I did the frogs for about an hour (maybe a lil longer) with my buddy. I quickly got bored of it and went off to do dailies and he kept killing frogs. I still got the bronze when it got patched.
I've enjoyed Remix simply due to the fact that I do not care at all about min/maxing like I do with my main character. I approached this mode as a fun, relaxed, summer event and the only thing that sours the experience are the players who can't help themselves and have to min/max everything they do.
Is prot pally possibly going to get changes before the expansion?
the only time I used any Bronze to upgrade gear is when it was an activity on the trading post log, other than that, I only spent it on mogs and mounts. IDC about player power in a temp event server.
An idea that I have seen (when at max level) in remix, take the xp % and change it to bonus bronze %.
I feel the thing that people constantly forget about the Frog groups is the following: 4 X 2 farming. From what I can tell it's been considered an exploit for a long time. They were doing it to get more people out, more people able to kill frogs for more charms. I feel they weren't punished correctly, but honestly I feel like Bliz should have known this was coming.
tbh I feel like there are two main motivations for playing Pandamonium. It's either collecting cosmetics, or it's progging endgame content and making your numbers go up. Whichever one people care more about is where they spend their bronze, and it's just the people who are trying to have both that are getting really salty about it. My experience with it has been great. Idk, it's a free event that Blizz spun up on the fly without trying to squeeze people for their cash, and I feel like people should of course give their feedback on the event, but getting legit mad about it is kinda like throwing a tantrum that the present you were given wasn't the one you wanted.
Remix has been a blessing for collectors and thats what i have been doing. I couldnt care less about the hyper spawn farmers or the sweats that care about the gear upgrades
To get bronce, i raided every day every raid and did the dayli. Yes I invested alot of time and when i hit about 4d played, i was 556 upgraded.

Having a chracter on retail that is geared should be compensated when you go to remix to upgrade your remix characters gear with cheaper bronze. Just like flightstones. Gives reason to still get gear in retail since getting gear in remix that is essentially moot.

i love it when blizzard makes the game more convenient and easy without making the game directly easier in a way everything seems scaled down. that's a win in my book.
A lot of this "outrage" is based on the expectation of time requirements set by the retail team for the last several expansions.
The team needs to decide if they're making content for a quick week/month consumption or if they're making seasonal content for a quarterly consumption rate. And they need to be open about what they're releasing and their intentions for it - like they were for plunderstorm.
I just had a small list of things to get from remix, i got them and left. it strikes me as amusing that when we found out the amount of bronze needed for all the cosmetics, and most people said.. well its just getting what you want, not all of it.. and then we find out that full upgrade is half that total.
How do you get the bone of Monn. In serge of origrimmar I can’t get them I the top dogs are so higher and fast it’s not fair to the rest of us.
Bronze being power tied and cosmetic tied literally doesnt matter at all. I have my main character I am gearing over time. Like an hour and a half of regular gameplay on that took gets me enough bronze to upgrade almost all of my gear slots by a level.
I have now purchased all of the toys and mounts and am moving into xmogs because after I have done my main character dailies, I just level someone else and the 40k per character means you end up with 70-80k at max and it takes about 5-8 hours to get to max.
People will just complain no matter what happens, Remix is a blast though
Why don't they just make the XP buff on your cloak at level 70 turn into bronze gain %??? Like 189% bronze gain. It's such a simple fix to make it feel better.
If they are going to keep the current bronze cost for upgrading they could at least make the discount account wide so gearing alts isn't also the same grind
I only got the Epic Edition because I saw that while they did sell the items from previous epic editions as separate standalone purchases in the store it was dramatically cheaper to just buy the Epic Edition.
i played mop remix for a weekend. i went hard that weekend and then just stopped caring. got all the FOMO mounts and done.
I’ve been enjoying the remix. The only thing I’d like is an LFR system for raiding. Trying to find a group can be a challenge at times.
As long as there are rewards that are locked behind that some players are not doing then there is going to be problems.
It would have been so easy for them to just make the upgrade costs reasonable. 60 days of dailies for a limited time mode FOR ONE CHARACTER is very unreasonable.
didnt they say sometime ago on the forums that thier engine couldnt handle player housing and that is why they havent done it? would be sick tho to see it implemented tho
