You've said it yourself, Remix was a huge success so you bet there will be more remixes on the way. They will never do a permanent Remix mode tho because part of what drives people besides the fun, is the FOMO.
@@diegostrossen6751 We NEED a permanent fun activity. Timewalking acts that way (kind of) because as you said it's rare. Remix has been fun, but if you removed the leveling component and made a side-game of it it'd be almost evergreen. Imagine 5-man Warfronts with tinker sockets and actual objectives. Or a Mage Tower with tinkers. You can do it without and earn a title, or with and earn currencies to collect old Transmogs that have been lost to prunings. Lots of stuff you can do to keep it going without killing it outright.
I can already see the chat spam for "delve tank service - $10k". Blizz have made tanks into un-killable monsters with the highest healing in the game, and they will run over all delve content without ever encountering any risk.
Heh, i only clicked on this vid because my mind auto-read 'nailed' as 'ruined' because ive apparently become too used to seeing negatives when a title mentions Blizzard, lol - Was fully getting ready for disappointment in TWW only to get whiplash when Bellular said he was excited to talk about this video!
With D4s recent success, the M+ changes being so well received and now this. I can't recall the last time Blizz was farming this many Ws. The dark times may finally be over!
I don't understand why they always split content. Why not enable solo options in dungeons and raids, you just need to add/remove mechanics, not create a separate thing specially for that. Maybe that's next on the list, but IMHO they are wasting resources here. They could have added or improved dungeon and raid experience for solo content, rather then wait, and do so with time.
Dungeons/raids should adapt to players skill/ability to be challenging. Good gear doesn’t mean good players but it plays a part. Rewards should scale with how well a particular group did. AI
Sorry, but I can't agree. While I am sorta looking forward to have Delves in the game, designing to specific abilities that some classes don't have is only gonna lead to the same elitism/stratification we see around Meta in Mythic+. It could only be different if you could spec into something you normally do not, or get a trinket with a missing ability to supplement your own toolbox. Or at least, spec your NPC assistant accordingly. If we DO NOT get a way to do that, then it's not "solo play" content, it's "mandatory bring warlock/undead/whatever" content. We've seen tons of that before, we've seen it fail, we'll see it again I'm afraid - hopefully not, though. Also, "most exciting"? Naaaah. Believe it or not, I am most excited about warbands. I am soooooooooo tired of playing "world of loadcraft" and distributing reagents of a given profession to an alt holding given profession. Now, I will finally be able to just keep ALL the mats in ONE place, at least for the current expansion, as we don't seem to have a clear clue just how large can the warband bank be... I have a mountain of old expac materials stashed for "just in case I want to craft something old for mog", which usually just sits in every alt reagent bank.
I enjoyed Island Expeditions in BFA and did a lot of them. But here's a simplified answer: Because they were tied to the artifact power grind system, Island Expeditions became a chore that people wanted to do as fast as possible to get the required AP for the week. The result was an unfocused blergfest of three random players heading in random directions, killing random mobs, mining azerite, clicking chests. Didn’t matter what island you were on or what form the mobs took. Timer based. Blizzard loves timers to make their bland content exciting, but racing against the opposing faction’s team meant you couldn’t explore or plot out strategy, you just had to be charging ahead randomly. Had interesting encounters that were largely ignored because there was no time to figure things out. Just avoid them and get the low hanging chests. Doubly so for big mobs with endless stuns/interrupts/one shots. No meaningful gear rewards. They were not self-supporting, meaning that you did not get better equipped for doing Expeditions by doing Expeditions. This is counter to every other evergreen form of content and it makes the experience self-limiting. Dungeons drop gear upgrades to take on harder keys. You get the gear to do harder raids by running raids. But for Torgast/Islands/Visions this was mostly not the case. Hopefully Delves have solved these problems.
Sounds like nightmare dungeons from D4. Blizzard does seem to be in a rut with game development. Just make wow a 3rd person arpg with the d4 armor skins. People may actually pay $30 for a skin. 🤷♂️.
Well it’s not like we didn’t already have the information available to us. If you don’t want spoilers maybe don’t watch videos about content that isn’t out yet?😂😂 We still don’t know what it’s going to be like we just know who we are going to fight. Which we already knew anyways.
Some mobs are a little overtuned the last time I tested it but overall it was a fun thing to do and I will probably fill a lot of random downtime with delves. The bosses were all too easy but casters especially, in some of the delves, almost oneshot you and once you run out of interrupts/cc you are at their mercy and most likely dead. Still managed to complete every level so it isn't impossible or too hard in general. Just needs finetuning.

That's usually only in high pop realms where general chat is spammed with carries.
Will Delves be part of weekly vault?
Yes
THE COMPANIONS ARE OURS ALTS ? if not, then i'm out.
Implement the DAY and NIGHT mechanic in the open world, for god shake, please.
Friendlier Torghast, is what i call this mode.
With D4s recent success, the M+ changes being so well received and now this. I can't recall the last time Blizz was farming this many Ws. The dark times may finally be over!
Am I the only one that just wants remix editions from now on?
I just want to do things because I enjoy it not because I have to.
It’s an mmo, it is supposed to have group content, if you want only solo content you can go play a single player rpg
Dungeons/raids should adapt to players skill/ability to be challenging. Good gear doesn’t mean good players but it plays a part. Rewards should scale with how well a particular group did. AI
”…get better gear. That wont feel great for some people.”
Imagine that…
Torghast was good. There was content in the game which is missing in dragonflight
Can’t wait! ❤
I miss the underwater seahorse mount
Shh don’t tell people what we do with my Druid 😂😂
Is healing Braan still useless
I hope they don't pull a Torghast on these. Looked great on beta then was a nightmare on release.
Good range is always down outdone melee for as long as I've played.
Hopefully delves will not be mandatory to do like Torghast was.
They just give gear rewards the same as other instanced content. It can only be as "mandatory" as raiding or M+
That's how you style your hair and you bring the camera zoom and angle in to try counter balding . Asmon should be taking some lessons
What was wrong with island expeditions? =/
I enjoyed Island Expeditions in BFA and did a lot of them. But here's a simplified answer:
Because they were tied to the artifact power grind system, Island Expeditions became a chore that people wanted to do as fast as possible to get the required AP for the week.
So as a shadow priest they're painful.
so basicly delve have become the new mythic+ just as solo player can play,
Okay, so clearly I'm playing Paladin this expansion.
Wait. I don't have to participate in the exercise in schizophrenia that is mythic keystones at end game? Sold. I will now play your game.
This reminds me of Deep Rock Galactic
They'll tweak it into oblivion before release. Guaranteed.
Sounds like nightmare dungeons from D4. Blizzard does seem to be in a rut with game development. Just make wow a 3rd person arpg with the d4 armor skins. People may actually pay $30 for a skin. 🤷♂️.
Just casually spoils the boss of the "mystery" delve. Oh well, what mystery that is then.
Well it’s not like we didn’t already have the information available to us. If you don’t want spoilers maybe don’t watch videos about content that isn’t out yet?😂😂 We still don’t know what it’s going to be like we just know who we are going to fight. Which we already knew anyways.
Ok! I’m in. I’ll have to share time with FF14 but will do:))
"theres no soul ash, or soul cinder" . yet.
I'm worried these will be just a kite fest for my mage.
Wait? Range is actually worse then melee???
Some mobs are a little overtuned the last time I tested it but overall it was a fun thing to do and I will probably fill a lot of random downtime with delves. The bosses were all too easy but casters especially, in some of the delves, almost oneshot you and once you run out of interrupts/cc you are at their mercy and most likely dead. Still managed to complete every level so it isn't impossible or too hard in general. Just needs finetuning.
the true question wether most sweaty casual like me will like dwelves or no is : will we be able to log ours runs ? :'$D
i tried them in beta and it wasnt that fun at all, when a random ass kobold waddles to you and smacks you with white swing for 2M damage...
Funfact: Delving is entirely and completely stolen from LOTRO last expansion......
Am I the only one who enjoyed a lot thorgast?
