Those Essential Guides are interesting to delve into; I have a number of the earlier ones - it's just a shame they never got to update them to include information leading right up until just before the Disney acquisition - now *that* would have been awesome! 😎
I have the Essential Guide to Characters and i have the Chronology, and Bill Slavisek Guide to the Star Wars Universe and Star Wars Encyclopedia from Steve Sansweet.
