We had another family member who was molested as a young child & he always told us to run & scream if anyone ever tried to lure us or touch us in private areas. However, for convicted sex offenders, especially those who molest children, there should be some kind of GPS device permanently attached to their person somehow. A microchip placed somewhere unknown to the convict. That way, there can be an automated alert sent to the nearest police station if a pedo rapist is located anywhere near a place they shouldn't be. It's unreasonable to tattoo "CHILD RAPIST" on their forehead, but once you've committed a crime against a child, you lose the right to general privacy. There are a few states that have the death penalty for pedophiles...Louisiana, Montana, Oklahoma, South Carolina, and Georgia. I remember the protests for and against the bill, but I don't remember if the bill was passed. I think Louisiana is the only state to have executed a pedophile who did not murder his victims. It's hard to believe there was a time when convicted sex offenders were allowed to live near schools and parks, there wasn't a way to know if there were any in your area, and these people weren't required to notify their neighbors of what they did. When I was a little kid my mom was going to buy a house and she didn't end up buying it because (among other reasons) there was a chomo living right around the corner. Even in the early 2000s there was a website she went to where she was able to see his name, address, photo, even the vehicle he drove.
Nowadays, at least in Texas, the county sends out postcards to the community to inform us that a sex offender is moving into the neighborhood. They include a picture of the offender, charge details and release date.😉👍🏽

I don't advocate permanently maiming people for their crimes, such as the 'eye for an eye, tooth for a tooth' creed. However, for convicted sex offenders, especially those who molest children, there should be some kind of GPS device permanently attached to their person somehow. There are a few states that have the death penalty for pedophiles...Louisiana, Montana, Oklahoma, South Carolina, and Georgia. In 2007, Texas was under a microscope when they introduced a bill to add the death penalty for pedophiles. I remember the protests for and against the bill, but I don't remember if the bill was passed. I think Louisiana is the only state to have executed a pedophile who did not murder his victims. When Trump took office he tweeted about cracking down on pedophiles, human trafficking, and supporting the death penalty for pedophiles. Since he took office, he has broken up several human trafficking rings and over 1,500 pedophiles have been arrested...something the MSM simply ignores.
