    I had done one shot a little while ago using my Jada Toys Creature from the Black Lagoon. I wanted to make it appear like he was emerging from the waters, so I took a water bottle, gathered some of the water in the lake I was shooting at, and splashed it on and around the figure. Still one of my favorite shots because the effect was so well done, the water really made it look like he was jumping out of the lake .

    Great video. Try using off camera flash or speed lights to freeze the water. I use the evolve 200s and I get great water shots. This way you can boost your light and lower the shutter speed.

    I'm a newbie when it comes to photography, but I have to learn a lot because I have a Photography subject! (I'm taking Fine Arts.) I wanted to impress my professor, but at the same time try not to stress myself too much. Your videos are really helpful and educational! I'll be trying a lot of these and see if my professor will like it, hopefully! 😅 And to be honest, toy photography looks really fun! I might be doing more of these outside of my classes. Thanks so much, I've subscribed!! 💗

      @@sirdork730I had this idea for a toy photography shoot, basically a little action figure is looking at gamera and Godzilla frozen in battle inside an ice cave, you could use a window panel for the ice, if you do this, I recommend using the sh Monsterarts Godzilla (2001) and the sh Monsterarts Gamera (1999) Kyoto Decisive Battle Version for Godzilla and Gamera, the action figure can be whoever you want

    As a toy photographer, do you ever get like weird looks from people passing by in the park and stuff, I find myself constantly being embarrassed when people pass by when I’m taking shots.

    • @sirdork730
      @sirdork730  2 роки тому +19

      I get those looks all the time! It can definitely be difficult sometimes, but most of the time people are just curious! Do your best to be proud of your toy photography and not embarrassed! I always keep business cards on me so I can give them to people who ask what I’m doing 😆

Actually my wife again gave me the idea to open an Instagram page dedicated to Transformers figures etc. I ordered an air gun, wire, flexible tripod with blue tooth remote shutter and cant wait to try them. I found an online store with fireworks as well here in my counterpart (i live in Greece) And of course i followed you on Instagram with both of my accounts :)
