If you can't find a tool that works for you, make it. Don't let anyone tell you it can't be done or it is wrong. Also watch out for the cutting bar on that tape dispenser, it hurts if you hit it! Great video and I would love to know where you purchased that tail stock for your lathe.

Hi Gary...Mike here - I've recently discovered your channel and I'm fascinated by your knowledge and presentation. I've messed with fishing tackle in a 'DIY' capacity for decades...(7 of them!) and I figure if I'm ever going to get serious about the art of rod building, I'd better get crackin'! So, I've watched your vids up to #14 or 15 so far. What a wealth of info you provide. BUT, the real reason for contacting you is to ask about the tubing cutter you clamp into the vice...that's a neat tool! What is that actually called or what brand is it? I've gotta have one! Thanks again for a great series on rod building!
