Glad I had to turn my audio up to 400% to hear this.
Was scouring thomann for a reasonably priced shred machine and came across the Solar and had no idea that was Ola's company, second I figured that out I bought it immediately, cannot wait to get it!

the pickups weak and mine was not painted all the way. i could see the white under the black spots form the spray. you i put in a Duncan Invader in the bridge on day 2. The ones that come in the guitar are cheap and quiet.

I agree man! I was fuckin banging off the walls even from here, in my own home watching on my cell phone. Such good riffs and song structure. I can always hear the Jeff Loomis influence in his songs. Fucking awesome!

As far as metal guitars are concerned cant beat Solar & Schecter quality for the price! Ibanez has fallen off the map in my eyes along with ESP & Jackson! B.C Rich hasnt made anything decent in 25 years!
PatientMental Solar and Schecter make amazing guitars in the sub $1k price points, and I would agree that Ibanez has kinda fallen off the map with a lot of their stuff. But I would certainly say that ESP and Jackson are still absolutely killing it in the $1k price point. The LTD 1000 series is honestly fucking incredible, as is the Jackson Pro Series
Jackson makes awesome guitars...i owned 2...i love my actual Jackson KEX (2017 model) is the best i have ever played...but...they really need to hear more their audience...maybe to fuck up the JS series and keep with the X series as the low price guitars...but for build quality they are good, i had an JS 22 Dinky...and i must say...the jump from JS to X is very huge...i could feel the quality in fretwork...and body finish is just flawless...i wanna have a Custom Shop one day...for me the best 2 brands are Jackson and Solar...im buying maybe a A2.6 TBR or the E1.6TBR...
