Big Sky Bike Park - Soul Hole

Soul Hole trail at Big Sky bike park in June of 2023. This is the easiest single black in the park. It's not very steep and is fairly wide with multiple line choices and go-arounds for some of the technical features. Everything can be rolled but there are some chunky rock and root sections which is what makes this rated a black. Unfortunately the progression to this trail isn't clear anymore as I would normally recommend Tango but it's been closed for a few years and with the gondola construction I doubt it will be open until 2026 if at all. Instead, make sure you can ride Upper Trapper, Sneaky Weasel, and Fox Trot but Soul Hole is still a big step up from any of those even if it is the easiest black.
