on lobo it is a double black because u went around a very gnarly nearly virticle loose and rocky section its at that part that says caution drop with the option to go right over the wood berm or you can go straight the straight way is way gnarlyer
Dude, it is TOO good. No one has ever told me about Big Sky, but everyone should know about it. It’s the real deal. Heck yeah! That’s what I like to hear!
I asked the trail crew why that's a double black, especially since you can ride around the drops and there's no mandatory doubles ... They said it's mostly cause of the off camber sections and flat turns. Edit: I meant off camber *WITH* roots
The lift construction they’ve done sure looks nice but in the winter it just puts more people on the mountain causing a lot of spots to get tracked out immediately and waits at swifty. Not to mention they’ve used the new lifts as validation to double the price of what lift tickets were 10 years ago. Even employees have to pay for tram use now.
Yeahhhh, unfortunately this is a very common theme amongst all ski resorts. And there’s nothing we can do about it 😢 I’m big on skiing as well and it’s sad to see, but understandably we all want to experience the winter fun
For real... Big Sky sucks these days unfortunately 😞 Almost $300 for a day pass to ski during the busier times is straight robbery. I miss the old days. Bridger Bowl is the move, but it's sadly getting crowded as hell too now.
Don’t forget to leave your hot dog vote! 😂🍍
Yeti dog?
I like the sound of the Huey flying around.

The trail was steep for sure, I’d say it’s justified as a double black for several reasons, with or without the drops

Did you have a chance to ride the mountain to meadow trail?
I feel like I may have missed it - a reason to go back! All of the trails I rode I covered in the video
