Hello, My dining room is painted India Yellow, it has been there for at least four years. There is a small east-facing window with sunlight coming from the west in the late afternoon. I just love it and haven’t tired of it yet. I am playing around with re-painting the adjacent kitchen which has white cabinets with the complimentary Slipper Satin or Complimentary White.

be sure to check the colours together Rosemary and also, you want to make sure that whatever colour you are thinking about for the cabinets go with your counter and backsplash.

For sure. Playing with colour is a true game when the light changes. My counters is light gray so there shouldn’t be any change of heart with this project. Thank you for your feedback.

I am considering India Yellow for an east facing room that gets very little sunlight. It’s a home office so I can use something bright

This would be a nice option for a full room if the room is east-facing. Just depends on how bright you want the room to feel and look

i amconsidering painting a small dark siting room that has no windows , but recieves light through a double doors with matt glass from south facing rom. it is transitional room that leads to master bedroom and a smaller sitting room / bedroom facing south. entering from a dark corridor , a pop of brightness is needed.

How about using it on a ceiling?

Hi I'm thinking of using India yellow for two cupboard doors "off" the kitchen which is sage green cabinetry and oak wood countertops, just to brighten it up a bit what do you think???

Hi Diana. If you are going to use a bold colour like this where there currently is not a lot of bright colours, just be sure to repeat it somewhere else in close proximity so it looks purposeful and flows.

Hi, I was wondering if you could give me a tip on some FB paint. I have a main room where I have painted 3 walls in dulux almond white. I want the feature wall with windows in a FB paint and was considering india yellow but seems a bit strong. I want something that will stand put but a bit mire subtle. Th wall is mostly north facing and the carpet is light brown with grey flecks. thanks
