Good to see the 3 year update from you. I'm after the this white dial version. I'd prefer the 41mm version with the orange seconds hand but I don't think I'll be able to pull it off with my wrist size. So I'll probably end up with the exact same version as yours.
It’s a great watch overall! It hasn’t let me down for any occasion. It’s super versatile and good for anything so you really can’t go wrong with it. I have a preference towards smaller watches so honestly I would be happier if it were a 36, but I get it! I have a 7inch wrist so I can wear pretty much anything, I just love the smaller form factor
It’s so cool to hear you chit-chat about your AT and your hankering for an Explorer 36. Just had a big birthday, so I went to try on the Explorer 36 and they took my info for the wait. Walked around the corner and saw -my- AT 38 in summer blue. LOVE it. Went into SOHO today and tried the Explorer again. Got on their list. I want both the AT and Ex36. Both classic. The Datejust 36 is nice as well. I’m a gal- but it would wear well on a feller fo sho. Love the vibe. Thanks for the share, man.
Yes, I payed for my original rubber strap alot, but it is indeed a top quality rubber. Further, steel clasp and steel endlink extention are top quality as well, but they charge a fortune for it, altogether more than 600€ in Germany for the whole rubber strap set.
Hey! I could try and make a video soon, but just for a quick explanation I'll say I use springbar pliers. For bracelets and integrated straps springbar pliers are excellent. If it's a traditional strap I'll just use a normal springbar tool
Nice Video! Actually for the Caliber 8800 the Spec is 0 - +6 s/day. I was kinda disappointed to find that out (have a SPM 300M). Only the "better" movements like the 8900 have the +5s/day accuracy. At least, that's what it's saying on my Master Chronometer Certificate (online). Cheers
I’ll have to have a look at that in the papers I have. As well as the online certificate. I thought the 0 - +6 was universal for all METAS Master Chronometer certificate movements but that is more than likely wrong
helpful video... thank you! interesting to see what the bracelet looks like after 3 years of wear. I prefer the rubber strap too. I'll check out your Instagram
Glad it was helpful! The bracelet actually did get polished when I sent it in for service after my accident, so the wear on it is from approximately a year and a half ish
Great video! Did you buy your AT through an AD, or did you go grey market? I’m looking to buy an AT and am debating whether or not to go AD or grey market?
Thank you! I actually bought mine through an Omega Boutique in Nashville TN! I got like a 10% discount. That being said, I know you can get them far cheaper going grey market. I just wanted the experience and security that comes with buying from a boutique. I don't buy a lot of luxury items, so the experience was something I'll always remember! If you're just looking to get the best deal you can get, I recommend going grey market through a trusted seller!
@@nshdwatches9352 oh that’s awesome. I totally get that, those are my feelings as well. I’m getting the watch because of a special life event, so I want the AD experience to be tied with that, which is why I’m more leaning towards going to an AD. Thanks for the response, looking forward to your next video!
The strap I bought off a guy who was selling his Aqua Terra. He had it listed as an extra with the watch, so I sent him an offer for the strap alone and he accepted. I just got very lucky, honestly
Don't use the cloth on the bracelet, it drags the grit. I scratched the bracelet of my Aqua Terra in the first days like that. Now I wash the bracelet before and I don't see many new scratches.
@@nshdwatches9352 Actually I wash the whole watch when i want to clean it. I use the cloth only to remove water signs. I had too many easy scratches in the beginning. and someone told me that. The cloth can be a cause.
My wrist is 18cm. It wears a little on the smaller side for me, so it should be perfect for you! I personally love smaller wearing watches tho, so it's perfect for me

Ahhhhh, I didn't even think about that. Yeah those are from self harm in the far past. Though I do have one new one on my hand that actually is from a cat lmao
@@nshdwatches9352 I used to have a cat that had taken some pretty good chunks of skin from my hands and arm in the past when playing with me. Thanks for the videos with your Omega Aqua Terra... I love that as an every day watch... I'm considering the same one, though haven't pulled the trigger yet. I may go into a dealer to try it on, and compare with the larger size.
Follow my Instagram for random watch shots and the sort. I upload there more often than here for sure!

Bro, love the relaxed super chilled content. No stupid music just a cool easy vibe. Keep it coming.
Good to know! Thank you very much!
I hope youre feeling better these days! I too have a dark past. Love the watch!
Appreciate the kind words; I'm happy to say life has been great! I hope the same for you :)

Love to hear your experience! I'm glad you enjoyed my rambling, it means a lot. Wish you well in your collecting journey!
Beautiful color i love and collect OMEGA watches.

They are certainly pricey! About the same as a bracelet would be
In Thailand, the rubber strap (whole set) is 25,900 baht. 😢
damn, a strap only costs entire my current watch now. :)))
Would love to see an update where you put that watch on the leather strap.
I could try and do that! I have a nice blue alligator strap I love to wear this on
Yes thats right you have the desire for something more - unquenchable desire - good observation !
wish I could find that black OEM rubber strap somewhere right now, hard to come by. Great video!
Do you change out the straps yourself? If yes, would you be so kind as to show how you change out the rubber strap for the leather strap? Thank you.

Hello. Thanks for the review! How much did you pay for it 3 years ago ? (Retail price?) thx
I picked it up at a boutique for about $5,130 (before tax) after a 10% discount they did. Retail I believe was $5,700 at the time
I just picked up a 2013 Acqua terra, I love it
Congrats! I love how thin the older Aqua Terras are! They seem to wear a lot nicer honestly

man, you followed the Blue challenge or what dude? Why there are so many scars on your arm?

Hi there! I have the same watch. Where do you get the rubber strap from?

What size strap do i need for this is it a 20mm?
If you have the 38mm model like I do then you'll need a 19mm lug width. If you have the 40mm then I believe it's a 20mm lug width
@@nshdwatches9352 Thanks for the reply. Yes its a 38mm 👍
May I know what size is your wrist? Will 16cm wrist too small for this rubber band?

Do you own cats
I own 1 dog and essentially 3 cats.
My baby is a German Shepherd and the others are some chihuahua mix, yorkie, and a rescued kitten.
