Omega is the best watch made.
Sigma
Ligma?
What is the size of ur wrist
6.75" or 17cm
I have the previous model, the same as the Skyfall but without the cage around the date. I didn't quite understand why the Skyfall had the satin bracelet and mine had the polished central links, given that they are practically the same watch. It just seemed like a commercial choice on Omega's part, and since I don't like shiny central links I brushed it. I had it done by a trusted watchmaker and it came out perfect. I prefer it that way, but I feel like on a white dial they look better and less out of place.
I've thought about getting that done to it! I may down the road, but for now I'm still enjoying this look. I'll definitely post an update if I ever do go for the full brushed look
Been wanting this model secondhand! Did you buy it new?
You can probably find great deals secondhand! I bought mine new from their boutique in Nashville
Hi! Nice video. I'm strongly considering this very reference as my next purchase. I'm a bit intimidated by the fact that the rubber strap doesn't seem to make a lot of people happy for wearability (big holes, too tight or too loose fit). What would you say about that? And does it look good with the other straps on, or eventually you fall back to the stock rubber strap? Cheers
The in between sizing on the rubber strap is definitely a thing. I actually wear mine on the tighter side. I always go back to it due to comfort, but I do love the way other straps look on it too!
@@nshdwatches9352 thanks! I love how it looks on the rubber strap, but given thatI think it may be wise to go bracelet and then post market straps (sailcloth for instance).
I have yet to get a nice sailcloth for mine, but it is at the top of my list!
@@nshdwatches9352 thanks again for the reply! You're a very nice and available reviewer!
@Collector-k6y happy to! Thank you for taking the time to comment 🙂
Thanks for sharing. Love seeing real watch reviews and follow ups, not that sponsored garbage and people just trying to make a buck. Btw, great watch!
I'm glad you enjoyed it, thank you very much!
I have a small wrist. About 6.5". Do you think this band will fit without excess band sticking up?
My wrist is 6.75" and I wear it right at the middle hole if that gives a good reference. You'll definitely have a bit of extra strap, but it shouldn't be excessive. Depends on your preference!
You don’t have to send a watch out to get service for a time adjustment. Most local watchmakers will do a time adjustment for $50. You can also get it serviced locally for cheaper and faster than sending it off….
Yeah that's true, but I really don't have too much of a concern with how it's currently running! If it gets to that point I'll have my local watchmaker have a look at it
Hey phenomenal Watch 👌🏽 love Omegas, btw what’s that pen in the background? Lamy 2000 black? Any collection on pens for a vid?
Yessir Lamy 2000! I only have like 3 fountain pens at the moment. I don't know if I'll make a video on them. The L2K and a Parker Jotter are my go-to combo to cover anything I may need!
Happy birthday brother! Always great to see the update on your Aqua Terra. This is also my favorite watch in my collection and was a milestone purchase as well. The silver dial just pops for me. Still on the hunt for OEM rubber strap so I can give it more a wrist time.
Best of luck on your hunt for the OEM strap! I hope you're able to come across it at a nice deal soon! Also thank you for the birthday wishes!
Very nice🙌🏻 I did try a springbar forzep tool, but it did not work for me. I just practiced with the normal springbar tool
I had to be very patient to get the hang of it tbh. Sometimes I would go back to the normal springbar tool. Even now lol
I've got the previous 39mm blue dual version which I find is better in terms of looks as not keen on the new design and the date window at 6 o'clock doesn't make sense to me. Also the previous movement is better has more awards in terms of reliability and can also be used as a gmt as has a jump hour function.
Bro, love the relaxed super chilled content. No stupid music just a cool easy vibe. Keep it coming.
Good to know! Thank you very much!
Love this watch at it's natural environment. Got exact AT myself. Love the strap. Any suggestions on where I could find the rubber strap for a decent price?
Finding a genuine rubber strap will be difficult if you don't wanna pay retail. I got lucky and found a deal online for mine from a guy on eBay. If you want an inexpensive strap, I highly recommend the Barton rubber strap. That one is super comfortable!
@@nshdwatches9352 Thanks my friend. I'll check out the Barton straps.
Go deeper next time !
Nice addition to the collection. We need an update on the Aqua Terra.
@@rahulnaicker9071 I'll try and post an update next week!
Oh wowza 😍💙
Looks great. What's your wrist size?
7in wrist
absolutely beautiful I'm currently looking for a new dressy watch and am looking at a 38mm Aqua terra and the 39mm constellation I already have the moonwatch and a 39mm planet ocean, so probably will go with the constellation
The constellation is such a beautiful piece as well! I think it would fit the dress aesthetic a lot better than the Aqua Terra. Excellent pick and solid collection!
😍
Do you change out the straps yourself? If yes, would you be so kind as to show how you change out the rubber strap for the leather strap? Thank you.
Hey! I could try and make a video soon, but just for a quick explanation I'll say I use springbar pliers. For bracelets and integrated straps springbar pliers are excellent. If it's a traditional strap I'll just use a normal springbar tool
wish I could find that black OEM rubber strap somewhere right now, hard to come by. Great video!
How much did it cost?
It was right around $950 before tax
Please don't leave the crown unscrewed just to make the logo align. Even if the watch isn't submerged, moisture in the air will eventually corrode the components in the movement and you will have to send it off for repair again (it's not a triple-lock crown). I get that it's frustrating to look at but you can easily take it to a watchmaker who will align the thread and the logo
In the first bag of parts it looks like the pallet fork (or what ever it's called in a co axial) is in there? That's why it stopped. I have the exact same watch. That would have been an interesting bag to look through more thoroughly....
What size strap do i need for this is it a 20mm?
If you have the 38mm model like I do then you'll need a 19mm lug width. If you have the 40mm then I believe it's a 20mm lug width
@@nshdwatches9352 Thanks for the reply. Yes its a 38mm 👍
It’s so cool to hear you chit-chat about your AT and your hankering for an Explorer 36. Just had a big birthday, so I went to try on the Explorer 36 and they took my info for the wait. Walked around the corner and saw -my- AT 38 in summer blue. LOVE it. Went into SOHO today and tried the Explorer again. Got on their list. I want both the AT and Ex36. Both classic. The Datejust 36 is nice as well. I’m a gal- but it would wear well on a feller fo sho. Love the vibe. Thanks for the share, man.
Love to hear your experience! I'm glad you enjoyed my rambling, it means a lot. Wish you well in your collecting journey!
Does it comes with a warranty card.mine came with no card but i can see my warranty in Tissot website.
So it definitely should come with one, but as long as it's showing active on the website then there shouldn't be a problem
Whats the watch number? Is it T1374101109101?
Yes it is!
Metas should never run slow. This way you are never late.
Watch and song are 🔥
Went to buy one but they feel cheap
Interesting take, can't say many people would agree though
Would love to see an update where you put that watch on the leather strap.
I could try and do that! I have a nice blue alligator strap I love to wear this on
that watch is tortured....
Living it's best life
Interstellar is my favourite movie too💪
I've re-watched it so many times 🤩
This is why you shouldn’t ever wear luxury watches for any sporting activities. Sport watches are not actually meant for sports. They delicate and fragile.
G shock all the way!
Shouldn't be losing time? Isn't the tolerance- 0-+5 seconds daily?
I want to see it in an automatic version.
This is a beautiful piece
It's one of the best dials of the PRX in my opinion!
How much was for all those fixes ?? . I also have a AT!
After tax it was around $1,100 or so. My watch movement was in a non functional state tho, so I imagine it's on the high end of services
Tried once at local AD, 38mm aquaterra is stunning. Perfect everyday watch.
I hope youre feeling better these days! I too have a dark past. Love the watch!
Appreciate the kind words; I'm happy to say life has been great! I hope the same for you :)
The lack of date border is the only thing that stops this being the perfect watch for me.
Is this one better compared to PR100 Titanium?
man, you followed the Blue challenge or what dude? Why there are so many scars on your arm?
Mental health issues growing up, no longer any issue in life
Just ordered mine. Can’t wait it’s a beautiful piece
Very nice, I know you're gonna love it!
It's beautiful. I like it <3
Ordered mine today and got a free backpack 😎
Nice! I love when they do GWPs. You'll usually get them around holidays like Valentine's or Father's Day
