You won't regret a power inverter, i really like mine. I have a hot box and kettle to boil water and a toaster for waffles or toasts. Plus i can charge my batteries for my portable fan and power tools if I need them.
Glad you're delivering more loads to Minnesota and happy you're enjoying our cheaper fuel prices as well. With the thought of a new inverter installed, it sounds like you're turning Ol' Blue into a rolling motorhome equipped with all kinds of culinary kitchen appliances. LOL Congratulation again on your weight loss along with better eating habits. Take care and drive safely Trucker Josh.
Josh for your info: Speedway operates in 36 states across the U.S., predominately in the Midwest and East Coast. In May 2021, 7-Eleven acquired 3,800 Speedway Stores from Marathon Petroleum Corp., increasing 7-Eleven’s total number of stores to more than 13,000 in the U.S. and Canada. In addition, Pilot Flying J and Speedway LLC (Speedway) in June 2016 entered a joint venture consisting of 120 travel plazas, primarily in the Southeast United State. Maybe that is why the coffee is all the same!!!!!! LOL
14:40 when towing RVs to Western Canada, I used to take that road up to Minot, fuel up in Kenmare, last stop before Canada (North Portal border crossing).
Josh, get an Induction hotplate. They are safer than your standard electric or gas hotplate. I had on in my truck and loved it. The pan you use need to be metal that a magnet will stick to. water boils a lot fast on these, and you can have it on with a boiling pan of water on it and pull the pan off and immediately stick your hand on the hot plate and not burn yourself. Its hot to touch but just uncomfortable. Induction is a cool technology you should check into it. Also I had the Galanz 0.9 Cu ft Air Fry Countertop Microwave, convection oven 900 Watts from Walmart. Between the 2, there is not much you couldn't cook
Hi Josh. Have you thought about a small air fryer to keep in your truck? It's a little more healthy than frying. Brit would probably have some good input on that.
Hi Josh, you do not take a gift, you received a gift:) Also. get an electric frying pan. It works great to warm up food or cook it. Thank you for the ride. Take good care:)
You can bring fruit and veggies across the border if it has the USA sticker on it or comes from the US. US Customs has a list of what you can bring over the boarder. A nice officer crossing over at Detroit gave me one and I'm pretty sure Canada accepts US products as well. You might want to check it out. Thanks for the tips on cheap coffee and good truck stops, much appreciated!
Looked it up. According to the North Dakota State Police, farm equipment can traverse any road in North Dakota including the interstates, restricted from dawn to dusk.
I do too. I've been watching some of the older videos to watch some more driving in the snow. Lot of people don't know how to drive in the snow. Thanks
Josh, when you get your inverter remember the 10 to 1 rule. It takes 10amps DC to make 1 amp AC. Watch your battery voltage so you don’t get into a no start situation. I enjoy your videos and all the technology available for truckers today. When I was an O.O. In the 70’s, it was road atlas, phone booths, no power steering and short wheel base tractors to comply with length laws. But, on the other hand, no E Logs and fuel was .50 cents US!
Josh, if you get an airfryer, then you can eliminate a few appliances cause it does almost anything. Probably won't fry an egg, but who knows, maybe it even does that
You should get a Galanz 3 in 1 microwave, it’s a microwave, air fryer, and convection oven all in 1. They only use about 1000 to 1500 watts when you get an inverter
What are you gonna do with the seat when when your son when your phone gets old enough then you’re gonna want to start bringing him on the road to be a lot of fun
Sure love the sound of your truck's engine, it reminds me of the Caterpillar scoop trams that I operated underground at the Hoyle Pond gold mine here in Timmins ON. Though all the scoop trams (underground front end loaders) had automatic transmissions, enough levers to operate to worry about shifting gears...
Good job on the weight loss 👍 And good thinking of cooking on your own. You'll be surprised how much fun that can be. There are a lot of simple recipes and ideas to make food but I guess you should think of a solution for running water or at least cleaning the dishes and pots. I remember you saying you don't have a cup-to-go because you're afraid of not cleaning it properly and getting sick on the road 🤔
As an owner operator you get to write off all expenses 100% tax break. Even the cheaper gas in the US you get to write it off your taxes. Meanwhile the fuel taxes you pay in Canada helps to pay for the roads you drive in Canada. The inflation had to do with excessive profit taking by companies. Economists day 40% of inflation due to excessive profit taking.
You will have to can your fruits and vegetables , like berries and apples , works great for crossing border. Not ideal but better nothing. Travel safe friend.
Trucker Josh, question from a non-trucker. I noticed a couple of times Big Blue shifted gears, but you had both hands on the steering wheel. How is that possible?
Josh, you might want to look into a microwave-convection oven. just make sure that converter can handle it .an Eco Flow or a jackery or something like that can power a lot of stuff ( don't even need a converter!) . anyway, black Friday is coming up or look for Christmas deals .
To my Canadian friends because I’m from Canada but I live in the US I also watch judging freedom check it out. I’m not sure if you guys hear about it in Canada . From Huntington Beach California, where the sun shines every day.
Josh ive never seen border patrol pull you in to check for fruit / vegetables, is it commen at particular crossings ? And do they have enough time and manpower to check frequently ? VERY CURIOUS
I think if you put to some colour changing lights on, but the main colour is blue in the truckstop parking lot I think it would be rather heading for old blue
Yeah Josh , a fruit exception for professional drivers would be a good idea. Down here in Florida , we have Citrus Cancer and these Fruit flys that can destroy a crop of oranges etc. Its the seeds and larvae crossing the border that freaks the agriculture folks out. At the airport , they are still testing shoes and having one walk through a solution with shoes on when I fly back from Europe/Germany. See ya
I mean, you do you on that passenger seat removal, I'm just gonna tell you when Theo gets older you might regret not having a seat for him to ride shotgun in during summer vacation when he wants to see what his daddy does for a living.
Get ready to be unemployed once all the tariffs kick in and Trump declares you an illegal immigrant. I find it discussing that all you can do is complain about Canadian roads, yet you do nothing to support the maintenance that comes from fuel taxes.
My eyes bugged out when you said half gal per mile. I quickly assumed you just said it backwards. Hopefully Trump changes will rub off on your country. Plus vote those idiot Trudeau style socialists outta office.
Heck ya. That new guy I saw challenging the status quo seems like he has common sense. Remember, it should be for the good of the people. Not just a select few. Thanks
Farm tractors are allowed on North Dakota interstate highways from sunrise to sunset.
You won't regret a power inverter, i really like mine. I have a hot box and kettle to boil water and a toaster for waffles or toasts. Plus i can charge my batteries for my portable fan and power tools if I need them.
I have much respect for the farmers especially at harvest time. You think your truck is expensive!

1:42 the constant reminder… Sorry for your loss!
Yeah , it's gotta be tough on him.

US 281... runs all the way from the Texas/Mexico border to Canada. Some lovely American scenery on that highway.
Hi Josh. Have you thought about a small air fryer to keep in your truck? It's a little more healthy than frying. Brit would probably have some good input on that.

I didn't know that thanks.
Not only trucks but RV's to when it comes to having food with you when you cross into Canada or back into the U.S.
don t know why but love the driving in the snow videos
I do too. I've been watching some of the older videos to watch some more driving in the snow. Lot of people don't know how to drive in the snow. Thanks
I love roundabouts!
Awesome video...I'm watching from Jamaica 🇯🇲
Alright , Jamaica on board. Enjoy the videos. Have a great week. Welcome
Josh your turbo really likes to sing😂🎉
Blue lights in the parking lot on old blue with the wood would look really cool hence the name old blue
Good job on the weight goal. I replied that you and I are the same weight and going for same number. Good job man

Get a Hot plate or frying pans that you can plug in & there 12 v things you can use to cook with.
That's so nice, free coffee.❤
That’s pretty cool that you gotta go 0 miles to get your reload that doesn’t happen very often as you know
Josh, if you get an airfryer, then you can eliminate a few appliances cause it does almost anything. Probably won't fry an egg, but who knows, maybe it even does that
Yes, you can. Where there's a will, there's a way. Look for recipes and hints on Google.
Maybe not fry an egg. But you could definitely do baked eggs in them.
Welcome to November sun is scarce so when you see it, you take it vantage of it
UA-cam is a phenomenal resource for learning how to cook and recipes, Josh. And maybe you could ask Britt to show you too. Just a thought. I’m Andrew.
Trucker Jukebox cooked many times in his truck on his You Tube trucking channel.
I loved their skillet breakfasts at the Hasty truck stop exit 183.
You should get a Galanz 3 in 1 microwave, it’s a microwave, air fryer, and convection oven all in 1. They only use about 1000 to 1500 watts when you get an inverter
Josh you ought to know by now nobody's brain can function without their morning first cup of COFFEE at least I can't
Excellent video today Josh. You never disappoint.
What are you gonna do with the seat when when your son when your phone gets old enough then you’re gonna want to start bringing him on the road to be a lot of fun
That’s a really good price for that size of coffee a dollar I take that

Love trucking!!!!!
Josh you have stashed cups in your truck
One could get addicted to coffee!😊
so fill it up first and top it off up by the border, it'd be the same except weight.
a gift is something you received, if you take it it's theft 😂 😂
Nice to see some of what you are doing...not all windshield.
Good job on the weight loss 👍 And good thinking of cooking on your own. You'll be surprised how much fun that can be. wow, already 10 - 11 years since you had a 50 cent coffee at that truck stop
Hi Josh, a big hug from Brazil
Brazil , Welcome on board. It's cold up there in Canada. The snow trips coming up should be interesting to watch. Have a great week

The carbon tax does not help with roads. It costs me thousands a month. The fuel tax is supposed to do that.
Yeah, but at least you had daily for now like you said OK daylight hours are waiting

Why Not Minot!
What horse power is your truck josh. My m8 says most American trucks are only 300bhp. I just don't buy that
Josh, watch Trucker Dan, he's got a small kitchen in his truck!
Yeah Dan does. He can host a small dinner party in his right. Lol
You look marvelous!!!
what about when your son gets older and he wants to ride in the truck?
Nice video
Are you sure you can english 😆
Zero empty miles is a good bonus.
Dinner looked good and filling.
Stay safe

Might help if you cook the meat at home and buy frozen fruits and vegetables.
✈️✈️✈️✈️☸️
I’m sure you’ll find something to complain about. 😂
🤔
Make Meals Great Again
I mean, you do you on that passenger seat removal, I'm just gonna tell you when Theo gets older you might regret not having a seat for him to ride shotgun in during summer vacation when he wants to see what his daddy does for a living.
Good thing I can just put it back in :)
Why not get yourself a proper truck that have a lot more space inside instead of removing passenger seat?
Giv'er Josh!
I like that saying too
First comment ever yay!!!!! My man josh
Nice!! 💥
Lol , thanks
🎤🎤🎤❤️✈️😊

Trump caused the run up by getting saudi arabia to cut production also russia in 2020. Google it, i am not lying. By what he did gasoline jumped.
Just an idea , add extra tanks to your truck and take advantage of cheaper fuel prices in the USA ?
