The full size 45 is one of the nicest and best shooting handguns I have ever owned, and I own a lot. The trigger and accuracy out of the box is amazing! I want to carry it I love it so much. I recently bought the XDM elite 3
8 and I am not a Stricker fire guy, but just may become one after shooting and cleaning this gun , another amazing gun, Springfield armory is now my new favorite!

That video really didn't state a lot of information but a review of 1911s said SpringField Armory makes the very best priced, reliable and beautiful 1911s out of anyone. I have a couple of Taurus 1911s, one in 9MM and the other in .45 Auto. I had to do work on each.
I have one. Got a 3.5 pound trigger job. Sweet shooter. Then I cerakoted the slide to make it as weather proofed as the stainless frame. Now I've got a fine outdoor/hiking/camping pistol. Load it with 230 grain +P .45ACP JHP for maximum 2 legged and 4 legged protection.
I got commander in 45 and government in 10mm both are always running amazing no problems

@@barneymm2204 they told my FFL they never got any orders. My FFL said I wasn't the only person who ordered one but got nothing. The FFL was nice enough to cancel my order, and I ended up with an RIA in 10mm.

@@barneymm2204 just got the RIA a month ago, and unfortunately haven't had a chance to find much 10mm ammo or get range time. Just handling it, a couple dry fires, and disassemble/reassemble it feels good. I know you can run 40 through it, but I would like to experience 10mm. Hopefully in the next month or two I'll have enough ammo to get some good range time in.

Question about the rear sight. Is there a screw that holds the rear sight in place? I just notice that there is a hole with threads on the rear sight. My curiosity level went up. Thanks in advance.

@@teelowteelow356 The 9mm shot like a dream. The 10mm did not like one of the brands at all. Even when I sent it back to Springfield to have a few things done it ( The front sight shifted to the right while shooting it. So I told them about the ammo brand that wouldn’t work.), gun 10mm still wouldn’t shoot that brand. So I don’t use it in that gun anymore. Everything else about the gun runs smoothly.
