Man, Area 51 was such a good meme back then. But the best thing for me was, that in one of the discords I was part of they decided to organize a full on Raid Area 51 roleplay event with like 100 or more people, including voice. It was a fucking blast, we were dying of laughing for several hours. I was a member of the crackheads, dying honorably before even reaching the gates. But it was worth it in the end

Add to this that most of the soldiers on hand are people with actual combat experience, imagine going from sweeping a road of IED's to being told you're gonna need to unload an m2 into a crowd of weeaboos. This was the harbinger of 2020.

Bob Lazar is a intresting case because while everyone he talked about speacificly teachers said that he is lying about his education he did reaveal the existance of a new element Element 115 years before it was reserached and well known to the public so its not like his clamins and unsported.
I mean, did he reveal accurate details on what 115 is? Or did he just...say that there's a 115 before there was a 115? The former would mean that he actually has insider knowledge, the latter would just mean he guessed right.
Guessing that an element beyond whats already been discovered exists isn’t notable, its the default position if one knows anything about elemental chemistry. Add more protons and neutrons and you get a new element. The issue is getting a look at it long enough to catalogue anything about it before it decays.
A guess you could make if you have seen a periodic table before to be fair it's not that impressive
If i remember my chemistry correctly, where an element is on the periodic table is actually a huge indicator as to what it's properties will be

Having been in many military briefs(sadly not this one tho), i can fairly confidently say that the reason they went over what Naruto running is, is more so the people on patrol dont assume "naruto runners" are hiding something or doing anything else that would cause them to assume they mean harm and open fire. Its a safety brief essentially.
It's always good to know safety protocol is kept in mind.

As someone prior military, no nothing is made with anything i would consider cheap. I have seen screws that looked like they came from home depot 5 of them for several hundred dollars. That being said if the part takes too long for mission priority then we have improvised to "come across" a similar part we didnt know we had.
