Molly = Dolly.... I like it! FYI for those who are unaware: Dolly (5 July 1996 - 14 February 2003) was a female Finn-Dorset sheep and the first mammal that was cloned from an adult somatic cell. Dolly lived her entire life at the Roslin Institute in Midlothian.
I worked at the Roslin Institute for pretty much the 90s, well actually I worked for PPL therapeutics on the same campus. We did the early cell growth stages and paid for much of the research. I shared an office with the lady who pressed the button that fused the nucleus with the donor egg that went on to be Dolly. Every time we had an important visitor Dolly was put in the field next to us, she was so friendly as she knew she'd get fed and would trot up and eat from your hand. I still go into the museum they put her in after she died and say hi to her now and then.

Wonder if there is a possibilty that you create a clone of yourself, that has a skillset that you want (doctor, scientist etc) but also has underlying tendancies to be a psychopath and/or murderer, especially with the 'shock' of discovering you are 'you', but not 'you' instead an alternatate timeline version of 'you'. Might send you completely over the edge, psychologically and bring those 'tendancies' to the surface. Maybe that's why the rest of the 'crew' died in such a mysterious way. You've run this scenario before.

When I first saw the Trailer for this game, I thought it might be some WIERD psycological horror/Social kinda thing where you are ALONE.... with yourselves. Reguardless this is certainly a UNIQUE concept, stranded god knows where, the only HELP being Clones of yourself.
About the Passengers movie. If he wouldnt woke another passenger up, they all would be dead. Final repair required one person at the hatch and one person initiating reactor vent. Still he did not know it forward, so yes, it was not good deed.
This game must be made by the Welsh. Who else would send a DNA sample of a sheep to deep space. ^-^ (I say this having a Welsh friend. We have a lot of fun with sheep jokes)
I saw a similar setup on a Flambass game review. Based underwater, possibly similar engine. In that you had to maintain the underwater base, clean up junk, take pictures etc.
It doesn't sound that bad, really. Look, they might be stuck together on this dangerous planet but its temporary. Eventually, they will manage to get off the planet and all the copies will be free. They will have an unencumbered life ahead of them. They can go and do as they please because they don't have any debts, obligations or ties that limit their options.
Stranded on an alien world with at least some of normal gravity, and a character wearing what seems to be a full space suit... running and sprinting... yeah, right. Come on, you hear the labored breathing when he climbs up those cliffs
Jingles, you do this thing, where you discover games and play them, and make me want them. So far I've bought like 5 games I never would have bothered with, all due to seeing you play 'em, these developers should tank you, because I know I can't be the only one.

That game is going to be a trip and a half. and Jingles did it again at the start with There dead dave one more red dwarf reference from season 1 episode 1 or 2 , good time's watching them late at night in the 80's
I really like the look of the game , but the first second I saw the scrambled trasmission with who Jan was talking, I think I already know the big twist behind this game! the Contact on the other side of the transmission is also Jan! but from the Future!
I was thinking back to Dexter's laboratory and the epic delivery of the line: "..And now it's just between YOU and ME, Me, me, me AND me" I'd really have a blast with other versions of me; I don't expect to be pissed off, since as a clone, I wouldn't have any reason to expect any different. It's not like I'm pulled away from my existing life or sth - it'd be a whole new "me".
Not my type of game (I'm not fond of base building, resources management, craft-survival games), but the psychology twist make me want to watch you playing it!
Well every landing you can walk away from is a good landing :) Will be interesting when an army of Jans come back to earth. Some of them will probably have married the same woman, so that might be a bit complicated to sort out.

The story seems a confused mish-mash of sci-fi tropes. Which don't make much sense. For example, why is the radiation worse at night? You'd expect radiation to be worse during the day from the tri-star system. And why have the "womb" and some kind of quantum change McGuffin. It's almost as I'd the Devs were going for him extracting his other selves from the multiverse, then changed it due to Starfield.
This game looks awesome and really interesting. Definatly going to be adding it to wishlist, reminds me somewhat of the film prestige (hugh Jackman cloning himself to pull off magic tricks etc), I'm wondering how many mighty gnomes and jingles landings the game can handle however ;)

There is a great discussion on Passengers somewhere out there in UA-cam. Taken from the perspective of Jennifer Lawrence's character it becomes a thriller, and a much better movie.
Why do I get the feeling that we find out (at the end of the game) that Jan was selected to survive due to a higher number or better quality of capable alters possible. Plus, I'm not sure I'd like to think about how much my dumb choices have effected my personal progression in life. So this game is possibly the worst for Jingles. You have a timelimit, doing anything takes time and there are many shinies to attract attention.
Also many ways to curb efficiency when efficiency is the core demand. Not sure my blood pressure can take it.

Jan calls the captain 'she', so that's not quite possible. And there is no time loop in the game, but it's based on timeline parallels.
