I think the writers could have given a stay/go choice to the player and offered appropriate cut scenes. As it is, this is an obvious segue into an expansion pack or a new story, 'Pacific Overdrive', 'Driven Mad', 'Highway to Hell', or whatever.
I know Wargaming is your bread and butter, but I honestly think your Let's Plays are your best content. The first Subnautica is still one of my favorite series you've done
Same here. I tried to compare WH40K to Subnautica on my first watch. I thought it was an inferior game. Then I go back and rewatch it again, learn new things I totally missed, and only then, did I realize just how good it was. I'll have to do the same to this series really soon too.
Very good game, I liked this one a lot! It's basically if Jalopy and Dredge had a baby, with bits of S.T.A.L.K.E.R, Subnautica and also maybe a little bit of My Summer Car mixed in... just minus a lot of nuts and bolts. xD
I see what you mean about the ending feeling a little lacklustre, but at least it was a nice ending for the characters. Kinda. I enjoyed watching. Looking forward to the kitty city game. Should be suitably relaxing.
I think it's funny there's exactly two youtubers (well, Jingles and a vtuber uploading their streams) I've watched play Pacific Drive...and both are British. Very minor little thing but still enough to amuse me!

I agree, all of jingles playthroughs are great, but for some reason this series was just SO GOOD, I mean the game is great in a lot of ways, and Jingles is Jingles, nobody else's playthroughs have the same kind of quirks, humour, and reactions to stuff.
Thanks for playing it Jingles, you inspired me to get a copy and I enjoyed playing the game alongside your playthrough. I agree the ending was weak but the rest of the game more than made up for it. I don't generally enjoy horror so the light creepiness of the game and in particular the soundscape was perfect for me. As a driver of old bangers the mechanics of the game warmed my heart.
Translation: we made an incomplete game because we either want to squeeze you for more money to unlock the rest of the story or we just didn’t know how to end it
I thought it would end with the three supporting characters being possessed by their own remnants and not realising it - until it was discovered by the driver. They could then find a way to help the driver escape, but only if they went with him, at which point they would (knowingly) cease to exist. Sad goodbyes are always a good way to end a story.
I’ve really enjoyed watching you play this game. I agree the ending was not really satisfying but I didn’t make it. But at least you finished it and now I don’t have to buy it. Thank you for the journey
I tremendously enjoyed this series, so thank you very much for it. (Also, if you have the Forbidden West lined up, maybe I should play the DLC at some point now xD)

That was a fun series, played with your usual panache and quality :) The ending was a bit meh, but the lead up to it was very entertaining. Glad that you made it in more ways than one.
I was wondering when it's going to be the time for Little Kitty, Big City! Looking forward to seeing you becoming a cat once again. In all honesty, I've came to your channel these years ago for WoWS and WoT videos. But I stayed for the cats and the quirky but fun little games like these that you find. Games like Pacific Drive, Dredge, Stray, oh, well, and Cyberpunk 2077. Maybe that one isn't as "little" though. So keep 'em coming! As for the ending of Pacific Drive -- like all drives, this one was certainly more about the journey than the destination. And they've left the game open for possible future DLCs/expansions. Although, personally, would want an option to just leave and let the credits roll, even though I'd probably feel bad about leaving Francis behind all alone there.
Thank you for the series! It was one of those games that looked fun to watch but not too great to play for me personally. As to the ending, I feel there is a very big missed opportunity. They could have done something similar to the movie Annihilation, that's all I'll say. Those who've seen it know what I mean, and those that don't, go give it a watch.
Keep doing these indie games even if they not as popular as WOT. It was your nearly one hour long reviews of tanks which was how I found your channel and subbed all those years ago. I have really enjoyed your videos of Stray, Dredge and now Pacific drive. I have bought and played those games as well. Yes the ending of Pacific drive is a bit of a damp squib there should have been a better conclusion for the driver than not going insane but an option to leave or do something meaningful. Perhaps they could of had the driver get trapped in the well on the other side of the portal in a parallel dimension with the car and the sequel could have been escaping from there but having Alan and Tobias and others helping them and you repair the rift and get back.
I have to admit, I too was a little disappointed with the ending. It wasn't *bad* as such, just deeply underwhelming. It felt like they were really building up to something special, to getting answers to all the game's questions; what caused the anomalies on the Olympia Peninsular? What really was ARDA and what did they discover here? What has this game really been about? Instead, we get basically more of the same that we've been getting this whole time; drip fed backstory, one last quick cameo from Tobias (with zilch for explanation as to how), and then just back to the garage like you've always done with a Minecraft-esque "The game's over, but you can keep playing if you want." Um, thanks, but I'm getting the heck out of here, like was the plan from the moment I arrived. And... That was it. No special cutscene, no unique animation, just more walking and talking, same old same old. Honestly, if I'd played through to that point, I don't think I'd fully feel ripped off, but I wouldn't be in a hurry to play it again. Still, I thoroughly enjoyed watching you play it, Jingles. It may not have topped your usual content, but I must admit that recently I've watched more of your Pacific Drive series than your Wargaming content. And I will say, I literally squeed like a little girl when you announced Little Kitty, Big City as your next series. It's like Stray as told by Kyoto Animation, it looks absolutely adorable! After seeing Many A True Nerd's video on it I've been waiting for a gap in my medical bills to grab it. So to see its fluffy good vibes with the mellow voice of our dear old Uncle Jingles over it, this is going to be great.
