Hi, you are probably tired of going through dozens of comments that say “Damian Wayne was genetically modified”, so here’s a comment wishing you have an awesome day!
5:16 it is possible for a kid to throw someone of nightwings size or more with a certain type of hold but Damian doesn’t do it. The reason I know this is my dad (an ex cop and someone who knows how to fight) used to teach me the basics and that hold that could be used to throw heavier and larger opponents was one of the first things he taught me. I used it on my father in a spar once and I was able to “throw” him pretty far about 2 feet. (I was 12 and he’s been over 200lbs for a while)
But since Damian doesn’t preform that hold at all I still agree with you. And my dad has mentioned and has gotten out of the hold on his own. But then again I am a stick
Team Lunix good guess! (Spoiler alert) But the reason he is that Over powered is because in one of the movies where Damian dies, Bruce gives him a charged chaos crystal to revive him and make him this Over powered
@Ultimate Hedgehog i mean he can move around his organs by will so why wouldn't he have super healing his mother even ripped out his spine and replaced it with a new one
I think that was the whole point of Damian's character; to show that he was so viciously efficient and conditioned since birth for combat that fights he should realistically lose still go in his favour fairly often, this is mainly to illustrate how dangerous he is since if he wasn't initially kept as a prisoner by Bruce then he easily could have killed a lot of people. It also creates a necessity for Bruce to open up to him and show him the way since his biological son is now running amok. Also kids can topple adults if they're combat genius's and can constantly calculate exact balance points on the fly like Damian can, what he does is theoretically possible even overpowering a bodybuilder in a blade struggle since he held the swords against the claws close to the base and the thug was pushing with his forearms outwards (one of the weakest forces a person can put onto something) There are just no kids who exist that can do that probably.
Damian is super powerful because early on he trained until near-death and was restored dozens of times in one of the Lazarus pits by his mother. Damian is also genetically enhanced. A super human.
@@Redemptive101 Granted. But Slade has super strength, enhance speed, enhanced senses, and a near Wolverine level healing factor. I’m not meaning to underplay Damian. But Deathstoke is in a far greater league.
@@awesomedog1415 i did watch it and i understand what he is saying buy damian is an enhanced kid that has been training all his life. His spine isn't even a human spine he is using a modified one. He has batmans dna and ras al ghul dna. Je has been trained by deadly assassins all his life
Der Hauptspieler obviously you are a idiot, I’m not sure who X-23 is, but NO WAY a child could be that strong, the only reason he is that strong is because of that chaos crystal
Batman’s son is very smart, he knows he doesn’t have to be strong to throw someone, you easily just use their leverage and weight against them, (hip toss)
Not a fan theory Damian has been enhanced with the lazerous pit several times. He also was genetically enhanced in the womb his body is as strong as a peak fully grown mans because of this but because of the amount of times he’s been introduced to the lazerous pit he’s even stronger, Batman leviathan and batman incorporated shows a clone of Damian easily over power batman and beat him in hand to hand from sheer power it’s revealed this clone is Damian but accelerated aging it had zero training at all and no weakness. Damian then fights it to a stand still before Thalia kills it. It’s then explained Damian is as powerful as his clone but because he ages normally he will become even stronger.
Jetstream gaming yes he was meant to not have any problems when he was born and to be a perfectly grown man but some people have been to the lazarus pit but they come back as normal like jason todd
Ryan Delgo Jason Todd was temporarily enhanced by it. He became normal because it was used to revive him. Bringing you back from the dead doesn’t make you stronger but just bathing in it for youth does
"It's unrealistic" *so you me to tell me that in a universe with aliens, magical healing pits, and people with super powers, but you don't call that unrealistic but when a child beats someone bigger than him, it's unrealistic?*
He’s a HUMAN being, don’t start with the fucking “enchanted in the Moved “ idc I get that he’s been treated differently and is more powerful then a Normal child but he isn’t a God?? He a CHILD, it feels Un realistic and it is, he’s Talented he’s been Training since he can walk but that doesn’t change the Limits of his body and how far he can grow,. Nightwing Has been Training longer than Damian, he is more Flexible, more stronger and Maybe even Faster, his body is More developed, it doesn’t matter how long or how different recently you been trained. Like Let’s say Damians started his training when he was like 4 and Nightwing has started when he was 8-10 , years of training Damians is now 10, nightwings around his 20’s it doesn’t matter young you started all that matters is Experience and your body capabilities, Damian is DEFINITELY a special child with all the Whatever they did to him, but it doesn’t matter, yeah Of course Damian can Beat nightwing when he’s older. as long as he’s a Child he can’t beat him. I love both of theses characters , but yeah That got on my nerves, have a good day 👍
@@__-lh8lb batman is human. He's outsmarted the most smartest aliens out there, taken the worst beatings that would have killed superman, and he's just a human. Damian is not such a bad character as he seems to be in the new 52 animated movies. He has just a bad character development, i n the comics he nothing like this at all. Hell, even Batman had bad moments in TV as well (Superman Vs Batman) So, let me sum up. Damian, in the rebirth comics he is a much more stable character. He has fought Nightwing and Batman but, he lost (I can say easily since he fought 2 of the best martial artists) He has a great brothership with Nightwing and an awesome friendship with Jonathan Kent(Superboy) (I really recommend yo read Supersons, a really good comic in my opinion) It is really good to see with the latest movies they have tried to develop his character. Sorry for the bad English.
Don't worry your English is fine. But what I really dislike about the movies is that they take the concept and name of an AWESOME comic and completely change it. Like with the whole Damian vs Heretic thing.
Vaggelitsa Papa My guy, these movies don’t follow the comics, they turn characters around and make them different to fit plots and story lines but only that, so that people can like them.
Vaggelitsa Papa don’t forget his relationship with Jason Damian sees Jason as that cool brother who lets you get away with anything and they can relate to hating Batmans sometimes
Damian's grandfather gave Damian in laboratory more power than an man bigger than a fucking gorrila and damian was stated as the most skilled person to wear the robin costume
Apparently the guy who wrote this script is not aware that Damien Wayne is not fully human. He has enhanced strength, agility, reflexes, intelligence AND A HEALING FACTOR similar to Wolverine when he weakenedby admantine poisoning.
Actually in the Judas Contract, Deathstroke explained that being brought back by the Lazarus Pits physically enhanced him, which was why he was able to beat Damian this time around.
"It's impossible for a child to do that." You realise we're talking about a universe where a humanoid alien strongman who flies and gets hurt when he goes near a rock, right?
Well to be fair there's a reason for that. Plus, he's talking about a completely different character that has no relation to Superman, beyond being in the same universe.
My opinion: 1. Beating Deathstroke 2. Hurting Blue Beetle 3. Hurting the servants of Trigon 4. Beating Talon 5. Beating Nightwing Batman did not even try to hit Damian, so it is not such an op moment.
Deathstroke getting plot screwed is D.Cs favorite past time. > Beats 7 Justice League Members at once. >Gets beat by someone who isn't old enough to shave. D.C Writers: Seems legit.
Damian seems to be genetically enhanced, and I remember them stating in the Judas Contract that Deathstroke took a dip in the Lazerous Pit, he is also enhanced IIRC.
He wasn't enhanced by the Lazarus pit, he was revived by it. If you're not damaged, the pit will further enhance you and if you are damaged then the pit will heal you. That is literally common sense.
1:21 that isn’t him overpowering him that’s literally him suddenly stopping his own push making his opponent go off balance then pushing him down to let gravity do the rest. You can watch it frame by frame and see all of that play out.
Ok except that dude is literally massive and has huge muscles that look 3 times bigger than damien's. And somehow they are holding each other off, how does that make sense? Also the big guy is pushing down on damien and damien is pushing up making it easier for the big guy to push damien away. Now tell me, how is that realistic?
fabio reyes Theres a lot more to a fight with weapons than just muscle. Regardless Damian’s been trained his age is the only reason he doesn’t look like Dick there.
@@SS2LP it has nothing to do with weapons, It’s impossible a small child can’t just send a dude 5x bigger than him flying. It’s completely illogical dude.
I genuinely believe that Damian was medically enhanced to be strong, maybe even in secret by his mother to keep her father happy and satisfied with his grandson's progress and the reason Damian is weaker in the laster movies, is one, the medical experiments have finally wore off and he's becoming more human and/or without realising it, he was actually doing permanent damage to his body but the drugs hid this fact until years later, explains why he's so short and struggles to gain muscle mass in the movies... I mean can you imagine the incurable damage swimming 50 miles would do or ripping a blade through your arm or getting thrown into a concrete wall or getting kicked and punched in the body/head by a full grown man with enhanced combat training would do to another adult, let alone a 10 to 15 year old child 😅 crazy!!!
I still want my super sons animated movie with Jonathan Samuel Kent superboy the son of Superman and Lois Lane and Damian Wayne robin because that would be so awesome and actually make Damian Wayne more human.
The reason is since he is related to raz al Ghul, he could have been using the lasoris pit, or something like it. And it could explain why he was beaten by Deathstroke then.

The bit about Damien and Deathstroke's fight in "The Judas Contract" is in error, as well. Deathstroke had been immersing himself in Lazarus pits repeatedly and caused changes and augmentations in himself. Might have wound up crazier, too. At this point, Deathstroke was powerful enough to seem the adult over Damien's child, with the attendant results.
Jonathan Khay yes, he is but Damian Wayne is like a character in super smash bro’s, that’s too over powered and has to be nerfed, and DC is basically real life but with super humans and more advance technology. Also these are more video characters
How old are you "real-life states" "comic book characters", bruh first off he is showing how the animated series is making Damian to overpowered? We aren't talking about the comics if you even read any of the comics you would have known that they do not make Damian this powerful. Also to make a good show you want to make it as relatable as you can while still making it intriguing and creative. So seeing a 12-year-old kid that probably ways like 100 pounds push a guy that is like 3 times his age and height into a wall is just plain dumb. Maybe gain some knowledge before you act like you know what you are talking about.
Considering Damian's upbringing, I think the creators are on the right path. He was raised by the league of assasins and as other viewers have commented: he was introduced to the lazerus pit on numerous occasions and was genetically altered thus making him stronger and possibly even faster.
The entire point of Damian is not to look cool. He is actually ment to look like he is trying to look cool because he is kid who just wants friends but was raised as an only child in an island of assasins
The second fight with nightwing is actually possible. Damian used nightwing's size, weight, and momentum against him, which can even out a fight between them. It wasnt overpowering, it was good fighting technique
I really wish these movies where faithful to the comics and they showed the beautiful sibling (sometimes bordering on father and son) relationship he has with Dick
Don’t forget Damian Wayne is not a ordinary kid. He was made in a scientist lab not a mothers womb, so climbing a mountain and being super smart can be done by a 4 year old. He was made almost like a perfect child

Same as Jason Todd. The Pitt enhances. He could have had some lab work done. I just know that he and Jason are the only members of the Bat Family that could murk Deathstroke with no Plot Armor.
He addressed that, also so are a good portion of the League of Assassins, and they still couldn't do the things Damien pulled off so easily before even turning 9 apparently. The comics even treat this way differently, with power being scaled down significantly for him and some of what he bragged on we learned he was lying about it.

I mean, Batman shouldn't be able to do 99% of the things he does. Neither should Deathstroke. (You're talking about how Damian shouldn't be able to survive having an arm wound while on screen DS is falling several stories and being burned by boiling liquid) But I do agree that he's stupid OP in the films. He kind of is in the comics, but it's with a purpose. Morrison's reinvention of Batman and Robin was over the top and ludicrous and fun, and Damian being a Hit Girl-type Robin was a big part of that. His skill and backstory gave the character color and allowed for certain stories to be told, but it was never about making the character look cool. The animation team seems to have missed the point of Damian, so he doesn't quite work in their films. Which is a shame because there are lots of people who don't read the comics but only know him from those movies, Injustice, and videos like this on yt. But if people only knew Nightwing from these films, they'd be making "5 Times Dick Grayson Was Useless" videos, so there are problems all around.

@@Legoiest He was enhanced in the comics Not in the movies as explained in the video And even if he was enhanced, he should not be able to beat Deathstroke, since he was also enhanced. Never mind that Deathstroke is on the same skill level and has like 20+ years more experience than Damian and is like 3 times his size
Damian gained the upper hand when they started to add verbal fighting into the mix. We see Dick get into Damian's head, and Damian begins to lose. But Damian recovers and gets into Dick's head, at which point, he takes advantage of Dick.
In Batman VS Robin, Batman is definitely holding back, but on top of that he is trying to do minimum damage to Damian. Damian, on the other hand, is upset with Batman at this point and I highly doubt that he isn't trying to do some damage. Considering the fact that he held a sharp piece of wood over Batman. I also think the fact that Damian had been shielded by Batman when they fell weakened Batman a bit, and caused him to try and place his trust in Damian. Also, keep in mind that when Damian climbs the mountain with his broken wrist, they could use the Lazarus pit to heal Damian. This would make Damian stronger than usual, and his ability to withstand pain and not die instantly would be upgraded. Overtime, he hasn't gotten weaker but he has slowly stopped trying to kill his enemies and is just trying to stop them. This has probably made it so that he has to try and learn a different way to fight. Overall, I love Damian as Robin and while I do think he is slightly overpowered, I ignore that because it's a superhero movie! Loved the video! 😁♥
So a bit off topic, but something I feel goes a long way to explaining one of your points, is that Nightwing is always given the short end of the stick in the newer movies. He is always making poor choices in combat and ending up too hurt to continue, put out of the match of conceding defeat. Such as the fight with Damien, he pulled the cape over his head and punched him a few times. All he had to do was keep the cape there and keep bashing him into submission, but instead he removes the cape. Or in Bad Blood when he fights Batman, the moment he has an advantage over Batman, he stops fighting and waits for Batman to get up. this leads to a broken arm and him losing the fight. Nightwing is consistently put down in the movies to make everyone (even Damien, unfortunately) look better. His role in Judas Contract is a major redeemer, but not enough.

Do yall not know Damian was genetically enhanced in the womb
I know that was one of my first thoughts also he has superpowers now but not in these films.
ETHANDAALLMIGHTY *thankyou*
Ultimate Hedgehog enhanced strength my guy
Very true

So, let me sum up.
Damian, in the rebirth comics he is a much more stable character. He has fought Nightwing and Batman but, he lost (I can say easily since he fought 2 of the best martial artists)
He has a great brothership with Nightwing and an awesome friendship with Jonathan Kent(Superboy)
(I really recommend yo read Supersons, a really good comic in my opinion)
It is really good to see with the latest movies they have tried to develop his character.
Sorry for the bad English.

Don't worry your English is fine. But what I really dislike about the movies is that they take the concept and name of an AWESOME comic and completely change it. Like with the whole Damian vs Heretic thing.

I think Damian has half of Ra’s power witch makes him this strong and hard to kill
I still want my super sons animated movie with Jonathan Samuel Kent superboy the son of Superman and Lois Lane and Damian Wayne robin because that would be so awesome and actually make Damian Wayne more human.

But comics and real life humans are same

But I do agree that he's stupid OP in the films. He kind of is in the comics, but it's with a purpose. Morrison's reinvention of Batman and Robin was over the top and ludicrous and fun, and Damian being a Hit Girl-type Robin was a big part of that.

His role in Judas Contract is a major redeemer, but not enough.
deathstroke would slap damian with his own hands
Well Damian is not a ordinary child he is the Son of the Bat and the Grandson of Demon!!!
So what?.these are the best fighters in the dc world..not fodder he is taking on.
@@shootingreal5945 Come on this is a Fictional character in a Fictional world you can't put him to the same standers of a regular child!
@@shootingreal5945 also in many cases the children of some amazing fighter's and weapon user's end up having around the same amount of skill as them at some times even better! And again he is the son of not 1 or 2 of the best fighter's but 3 (Batman/Bruce Wayne, Ra's al ghul, and Talia al ghul)
The Assassin of the Caribbean Even so he is part of the human heroes camp..not the metahuman characters like the superman family which you can do anything with. You need to maintain some sense of reason when it comes to Damian feats or it gets to the point where you just roll your eyes and just check out bc it becomes too over the top and ridiculous.
shooting real5 he was genetically enhanced add in the effects if living so close to the Hazards pit, the fact that he was literally raised by the League of Assassins... and Damian is within the top 10 best fighters within the DC universe
In my headcanon, him climbing the mountains and hacking shit is just him trying to make his father think hes as good as him
He's batman's son discussion over
Yeah Batman was holding back just think about his fight against red hood compared to his fight against Damien
This man was completely comparing a comic book which literally is in the same universe where a man with a big ass a S on his chest can move planets to real life.
It doesn't make in-universe sense. That's why hes complaining. Superman makes sense in universe because he's an alien but Damian being this OP makes no sense because they never gave any reasons.
I think you should show us the 5 time damian overpower instead of talking about how it is possible
And that’s why that’s why the radios never should never make him he should be raised by Batman and Catwoman instead of Thalía go in Rachel go
Needlemouse remember Damian is suppose to be a weapon. In his whole childhood. He was training to bean assasin and he has two powerful jeans and he probably has some of Batman s skill s
Edit:be not bean
Ps genetics from Batman and rashaghoul
but like, it could've been bean
Rosita Roldan Gan genes or jeans cos I mean if it jeans that make him so powerful where do I get a pair. Is it gap?
@@jetstreamgaming8058 he must wear Levis
Oof uh it’s genetics 🧬
The fight against deathstroke still seemed too overpowered
When ur fighting there is a thing that when ur opponent is bigger than you then use their own force against them Damien obviously used this tactic on Nightwing!!!
A child has no force to push back with..
Damian is not just a human he is something else maybe he is....is..is..? Man I don't know bro dame it's just crazy
What if it was all an animated movie...
gamer tost Right?!?! It's almost like....it's all make believe....*mind blown*
@@PrettiMissJae a make believe movie with bad writing
Saying something is fiction does not exscuse bad writing. Also making comments like this shows you are have no understanding of creative writing or story structure. Which often the ignorant like to pretend to be intelligent by making stupid comments like this. However people who are smarter will see through your idiotic facade.
@@sherlockgnome2628 Omg it is a made up universe with DIFFERENT rules than ours, people come back from the dead for gods sake! So he is a little powerful, he was literally enhanced as a fetus (do your research dude)! we don't cry about superman's obvious advantage over the other heroes, so why do we care about Damien being a bit more powerful than other kids his age?
@@lilliemano399 yeah, its a universe with different rules, but damian being as powerful as he is, is an example of a character BREAKING those rules and causing inconsistencies. he's not just a LITTLE powerful, he's beating people who went through the exact same training as him, except he's 8 years old. your attempt at under-exaggerating the point in order to make it appear not as bad as it is might as well be a lie.
he's not just a little stronger than "kids his age", he's defeating people (while taunting them like its no issue) who have an entire lifetimes worth of training, skill and experience over him. he's overpowering villains who should be able to smash him into the concrete like it's another tuesday for them. sometimes, like with deathstroke, he does it with FATAL injuries (besides the fact that deathstroke is ALSO supposed to be enhanced). he also has an answer for every situation and mocks everyone he knows out of arrogance. have you actually deluded yourself into thinking that this is a well-written character or do you just "not care" about whether or not your characters are well written?
the thing is, ignoring the fact that he shouldn't win most of these fights even with him being enhanced, like how super strength doesn't rectify stab wounds through the arm, he *isn't* enhanced. at no point does it ever even imply that he was enhanced like in the comics. maybe you're the one that needs to do some research? it sounds like you never watched the movies or read the comics and you just heard from somebody else that he's enhanced or something
Proof that this is all trigon's own doing:
It's all dick's fears. Like how the house or trigon messing with gar's head and gar 's fear is killing people (earlier in the episode)
This leads to dick's fears being:
Bruce embracing who he really is.
bruce's identity being discovered.
Uh.... Are you taking about Titans?
