I liked him as an actor before I saw him in Loki. I thought his acting in S1 or Loki was the worst part of that series. His acting was so over the top obvious and unnecessary, I was honestly shocked that he went in that direction and that the showrunners approved of that portrayal of the character. S2 was just the same gimmicky, shallow performance that made no sense and was just so obvious. It was like K. Spacey in the Usual Suspect, they broadcast exactly who the character was and gave them absolutely no depth
Technically just because he doesn't return in Doomsday and secret wars doesn't mean he cannot return after, his role was technically minimal in the comic storyline iirc.
This is hypocritical of Disney. What about all the shit with Josh brolin when he was arrested for spousal battery ? He still played Thanos. If Majors did ever come back, they should at least wrap up his story in avengers doomsday. His situation just shows you must pick your partner wisely. It can ruin your life. It’s a shame marvel ruined his character in the ant man movie.
At some point marvel is gonna run into this double standard. Like you said, the MCU was built off giving Robert Downey Jr. second chance for all his crimes. But right now they’re treating Jonathan Majors like he was the worst criminal than Robert Downey Jr. I understand the perception that Disney is trying to get away from but now that the reality has been known that perception is false
@@liferealgood You started with “I think” and ended with “or something crazy like that”. Which means you could not properly recall what he actually did.

Disney seems to stand for a lot of communities who receive unfair and biased treatment, but seems to back away when men are treated unfairly. Equity & justice should be across the board and give us all an even playing field. Injustice is wrong, no matter who is on the receiving end. This JM case has made me look at Disney differently- I went from hardcore fan (big family, tix every opening weekend, merch, etc) to ‘maybe I’ll stream it later’. I have some hope they’ll improve, but not as much as I once had.
I love Jonathan Majors, he's great as Kang the Conqueror, He Who Remains, Victor Timely, Immortus, Rama Tut, Scarlet Centurion and all their variations.
Lol charges dropped, suit dropped and you think he DESERVES a 2nd chance & should start all over again...😂😂😂 I love this country. They owe him. No one would have been interested in the multiverse saga if it wasn't for Majors. The amount of money generated off of Majors was insane. Even youtube creators made plenty money off his rise and fall story. This video will have more views than any other Emergency videos released recently bc Majors as Kang is the subject. Either bring him back as Kang in a dynasty saga or continue praying Deadpool can carry the franchise until the Mutant saga. RDJ/Doom will be a huge let down
@@tonelamont1498 While Major's first character in the MCU was used to define the multiverse and start the saga, there are a number of actors who could've played 'He Who Remains' and been the focal point. Majors owned the role, but he wasn't the reason people were interested in it. I mean, his second appearance was in one of the worst MCU movies (I still think Thor 2 is worse) and by the time Quantumania came out, people were already tired of waiting for the next saga to start. Interest waned in the whole multiverse saga when the whole idea started getting adopted by everything pop culture (multiple movies, tv shows and games have used it as focal point since then and people notice now that the biggest flim franchise spent years on a plot that has yet to pay off) despite the idea of a multiverse existing since before the common era. But yeah, Disney owes the guy. He's a good actor. He's just kinda weird when it comes to things people have caught him saying about himself.
Jonathan Majors expresses his admiration for Kang and makes it clear that, while he understands the circumstances that led to his firing, he would like to have the same chance at redemption that was given to other actors like Downey Jr. and Ezra Miller, who also faced legal problems but they were able to continue their careers in big projects. All in all, it sounds like a moment of reflection for Majors, acknowledging both the severity of the situation and his love for the character and his desire to continue being a part of the Marvel universe if circumstances allow.
That would be so stupid lol if he had the chance to come back that would be a huge W for him. Any movie studio would have acted the same way and he knows that. So many companies dropped him before the case even finished. It’s about brand image.
People are interested in Kang, but Marvel screwed up the character in Antman 3. It's fine if they wanted Antman to get out alive, but Kang should have gotten 100% of what he wanted. By the end it should have been obvious Kang was playing everyone like a fiddle. That would have properly set Kang up as a strong villain. Just like Thanos easily destroying Thor and the Hulk early in Avenger Infinity War.
I don't know why people keep saying Kang should've won in Quantumania, it makes sense why he didn't. He was in over his head from being stuck down there for so long, he lost to the giant hoard of ants because they were millions of years more advanced than him from the travel, and he wasn't at his fullest potential
I too, feel exactly the same. Although, back when it was announced that he was chosen for Ironman, I thought that was a Terrible choice!! Then look at what happened. 😌
I don't care too too much for Majors, but Marvel are straight up hypocrites for how they did him. It's obvious they didn't like Majors and were looking for a way out. Just say that cowards.
I think they would've dropped him sooner if they didn't like him. They could've replaced him with ease since they already established that variants of the same being can look entirely different before we even saw Majors on screen. It is actually kinda weird to have Majors play so many different variants of Kang when we saw that Loki had a good amount of variants played by different people, with different species and genders involved.
James Gunn was integral to the Guardians, so the actors united to demand his return. I don't see anyone sticking their neck out to get Majors back. The irony is that it would be sooo easy to recast another actor as a variant.
Dropping the suit doesn't necessarily mean innocent. It's a settlement. IE, they agreed to not go through courts any further for a separate private agreement (usually money) It makes no sense to Disney to rehire him unless he was absolutely innocent which isn't what happened here. There are likely non disparagement agreements so forth so he can rebuild something but he didn't "win".

The damage is done already. Disney won't hire him back. Even without the legal drama Kang was poorly received by the general audiences. They need to stay on their new path...and even that is no guarantee that it will succeed. I WANT them to get good again. But I am consistently disappointed
I understand your disappointment and share the desire for Marvel to get back on track. However, I think it's important to remember that Jonathan Majors has proven himself to be an incredibly talented actor. His portrayal of Kang in 'Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania' was praised by critics, and many fans appreciated his presence as a complex and charismatic villain. The problem may not have been his performance, but how the character was written and integrated into the story. As for the legal drama, we know that these types of situations can influence public perception, but I also think it's fair to wait for them to be resolved before making definitive judgments. Majors has not only brought his talent to bear, but has also spoken of his experience as a black man facing a complicated system, something that deserves consideration. Marvel has the ability to learn from its mistakes and adapt, as it has done in the past. I don't think the damage will be irreparable if they manage to handle the situation with care and respect. The key is to value both the audience and the actors who are part of these stories.
@AlejandroCamilo-k9g Thank you for reminding me about the writing being the issue for his character. I agree with his acting ability. The man certainly has acting chops. I should have elaborated as to my issues with how Disney decided to use his ability in a lackluster fashion. Meaning I agree that the man himself was not the problem I had but like you said the writing and direction they chose to use for him was poorly done.
See this is the thing I’ll never understand. A man of that size defending himself against a woman who initiated the violence still makes him the villain?
We have to see if Gunn is any good working with superheroes who aren't B~D-list characters most people never heard of that he can completely redefine in terms of characterization in films that have weak overall plots but are carried by a cast that actually has charisma with each other. I've seen most of his solo work and its very niche and cult-status compared to his work on Guardians and Suicide Squad.
@@madisonfortin6535 I think she popped back up in Fast and Furious first. Which kinda makes sense considering she was the only character who's 'death' in that franchise was entirely offscreen with no body found.
Johnathan Majors will return after Secret Wars. Kang will be that forgotten character, that everyone thought was gone for good. A sort of WWE sort of thing. Kang as a sort of beaten down, looking for revenge sort of villain. He might even be a sort of anti-hero.
Jonathan Majors ran from that crazy lady, then she grabbed his phone from his hands, accidently hitting her, he was protecting himself, but I guess this is how a career doesn't last forever.
Unfortunately, J. Majors doesn't have the protections "B. Allen" has, or we may have seen Kang in promos already (even if they bomb). Shame he couldn't be in 'Sinners' with MB Jordan in March 2025. Recast give JD Washington or someone else a crack at Kang to knock it out of the park again.
I'm happy for him, but it's also infuriating how easy it is for Marvel to just throw this man away. He deserves better. I hope he gets to headline a successful franchise after this. Also, the brother is talented for real.
Am i the only one that thought that the Kang in ant man was amazing? If he could amass that much power in the quantum realm imagine what he can do when he is let loose to unlimited resources. And being stuck in the probability realm? Could you imagine a bunch of kangs agreeing to the singular purpose of killing antman and everything he loves? That guy getting out wouldve been hell bent.
Majors' Kang felt like a true Multiverse threat whose origins where human but his destiny was the destruction of humankind. The other new MCU villians are either gods, aliens, or mythical entities. It just feels like higher beings acting like Jerks.
Yeah but your not staying with them trying to have an relationship..your just just passing them back to their boyfriends and husbands...that's the point@@Daddyhack2174
Marvel is weird asf for not bringing him back and it raises eyebrows because other actors is still working for them despite personal things they did or went through
I'm sure Disney has a whole team doing analyses on when exactly they can bring Kang back. As for Robert Downey Jr. coming back for a different role, that's basically what Deadpool & Wolverine made fun of. He's the anchor being of the MCU, so when the original character died, we have to find a replacement character with the same actor.
bring him back. JM as Kang was the best thing in Loki and Quantumania. For god sake hollywood act like mel gibson did nothing and his thing was worse. smh.
Gents, leave crazy alone. Do not stick around crazy. You will not be “the one” to fix or save her. Eventually she will destroy you. Usually when she’s now board with you.
I was always of the opinion that Majors was basically being MeToo'd without actually deserving it. His spoiled brat of a GF made a series of stupid, destructive decisions in an already fairly toxic relationship. Rather than take responsibility and move on with her life, she proceeded to try and take advantage of public sentiments like "believe all women" and so forth. Then, she tried to paint Majors as a domestically violent thug who intentionally hurt this poor, frail wittle girl who was completely innocent of any wrongdoing herslef. Utter bull. One need only have seen one of the NUMEROUS erratic things that woman did to see how unhinged she is. She PUT him in a position where he was forced with an impossible choice. I think he reacted fairly reasonably given the circumstances, as well. And, then, Disney then proceeds to do him even more dirty after he provided them with some of the most memorable moments in recent memory in Loki. And, sure, antman and the Wasp was bad. But I definitely didn't feel like that had anything to do with Kang/Majors. I think that movie was a victim of a combo of superhero fatigue and bad writing. Regardless, I think they should have to pay out the remainder of JM's contract. In my opinion, he did nothing wrong other than possibly date the wrong crazy gardening implement. He really did deserve better.
I appreciate your honesty on the coverage of John Majors so many people was trying to make him look like a villain when he wasn’t. I just pray that none of us as men are putting in that situation while our lives are ruined by false accusations.
I love how the partial quote: "they drove a dumptruck fulla money up to my house..." by Krusty the The Clown from The Simpsons (s04e01) is such a part of pop culture that you still hear all the time (@10:37) more than 30 years later and it still makes you smile... 😏

See this is the thing I’ll never understand. A man of that size defending himself against a woman who initiated the violence still makes him the villain?
yeah, a conversation that should be had, despite the fact that it is an unpopular one...
It's crazy right!
@@DigiRangerScott the video did...
@@andresalter571 That’s what you claim, but you haven’t proven it. You only conceded that he never proved that he was defending himself.
@@DigiRangerScottgo cry somewhere else
Wow! Thanks for the update man! You're the best!! And nothing less!!!
Thank you!
It's cool, Gunn can snatch him up to play the anti monitor, vandal savage, or the Martian Manhunter
That is true
Lol they can have him. We got superman and wonder woman
@@AngelOfDeath420 Is Gal Gadot supposed to show up in the MCU now?
We have to see if Gunn is any good working with superheroes who aren't B~D-list characters most people never heard of that he can completely redefine in terms of characterization in films that have weak overall plots but are carried by a cast that actually has charisma with each other. I've seen most of his solo work and its very niche and cult-status compared to his work on Guardians and Suicide Squad.
@@madisonfortin6535 I think she popped back up in Fast and Furious first. Which kinda makes sense considering she was the only character who's 'death' in that franchise was entirely offscreen with no body found.
We deserve a Kang Dynasty cartoon movie at least
Bring him back now!
Johnathan Majors will return after Secret Wars. Kang will be that forgotten character, that everyone thought was gone for good. A sort of WWE sort of thing. Kang as a sort of beaten down, looking for revenge sort of villain. He might even be a sort of anti-hero.
OF COURSE HE DID 🤦🏾♂️🤦🏾♂️🤦🏾♂️🤦🏾♂️PLEASE BRING BRO BACK
Coleman Demingo is better.
Jonathan Majors ran from that crazy lady, then she grabbed his phone from his hands, accidently hitting her, he was protecting himself, but I guess this is how a career doesn't last forever.
F everything Disney.
💯
weird fetish but not gonna judge
Facts
Please. 😀You'll be lining up to see Doomsday like the rest of us.
"Dobby is freeeee"
I feel like the kang story was going to lead to some greeaat mind bending plots. I really wish we could have seen it 😢
It would have been a massive Avengers level story
They still haven’t said anything about Tenoch Heruta and his allegations.
Unfortunately, J. Majors doesn't have the protections "B. Allen" has, or we may have seen Kang in promos already (even if they bomb). Shame he couldn't be in 'Sinners' with MB Jordan in March 2025. Recast give JD Washington or someone else a crack at Kang to knock it out of the park again.
this is really sad. i love him as kang and as victor timely! his acting was one of the best i watched in MCU!
Yes Bring Back Kang.
I'm happy for him, but it's also infuriating how easy it is for Marvel to just throw this man away.
He deserves better. I hope he gets to headline a successful franchise after this. Also, the brother is talented for real.
Maybe audiences would have been interested in Kang if the writing wasn’t formulaic or complete shit.
Or if his acting in loki wasn't cringe
Am i the only one that thought that the Kang in ant man was amazing? If he could amass that much power in the quantum realm imagine what he can do when he is let loose to unlimited resources. And being stuck in the probability realm? Could you imagine a bunch of kangs agreeing to the singular purpose of killing antman and everything he loves? That guy getting out wouldve been hell bent.
He won but lost his role😢😢
one woman changed cinematic history.
I'll forever hate how Quantumania handled Kang, Feige didn't even care when making that disaster of a film and that's pretty infuriating.
Majors' Kang felt like a true Multiverse threat whose origins where human but his destiny was the destruction of humankind. The other new MCU villians are either gods, aliens, or mythical entities. It just feels like higher beings acting like Jerks.
Innocent until proven guilty or guilty until proven guilty?!!
Marvel: what did it cost?
Majors: everything😢
My brothers, STAY AWAY FROM THEM SNOWBUNNIES🐇
Nah. I'm like 47 -0 with them so far.
You think only snowbunnies destroy men’s lives?!? GTFOH…. Gold-diggers come hit all colors of the race rainbow 😕
Yeah but your not staying with them trying to have an relationship..your just just passing them back to their boyfriends and husbands...that's the point@@Daddyhack2174
@@Daddyhack2174 ^damn this dude just be knocking em all out😂🤣
To late my son is mixed stay away from ANY crazy ass women they will and can ruin you for something you did not even do
Doom is still undeveloped character and still lacks gravity in the MCU, too.
Bring him back AD Blue Marvel he would be perfect
Marvel is weird asf for not bringing him back and it raises eyebrows because other actors is still working for them despite personal things they did or went through
IMO, for the most part he was one of the highlights of Ant-man. I would hope they would bring him back in the future in some capacity
Now Jonathan majors needs to sue everyone for defamation.
"Everyone" didn't defame him. In fact, it's not clear anyone defamed him. Certainly not more than maybe one. Maybe.
They’ll make RDJ as a Kang Variant
Guilty until proven innocent 😢
@@kenwoodruff3415 He was never proven innocent, making him still guilty
Disney did him dirty for sure. I personally don’t like it and makes me very wary of Disney/Marvel in general
They could still bring him back in time
Majors should play Simon Phoenix in a Demolition Man reboot opposite Henry Cavill.
Dropped everything so fast lol. CHARLIE THE GOAT🐐
Didn't expect this stunning plot twist.
Congrats on the engagement Kane
Bring back Kang even if just to kill him off properly on screen and do that character/storyline justice
He should sue her for all of the amount of money he lost based on her lies. Defamation
It's never the reality of the situation that hurts you. It's the severity of the allegations that destroys men.
Let Kang be the main villain in a Young Avengers movie/series then finish his storyline
I love how the partial quote: "they drove a dumptruck fulla money up to my house..." by Krusty the The Clown from The Simpsons (s04e01) is such a part of pop culture that you still hear all the time (@10:37) more than 30 years later and it still makes you smile... 😏
Marvel needs to bring him back. He's our Kang
They might in like 3 years
No they don't
He was never your anything
@ what??? You mean yourself
Marvel should bring Kang back. Better than RDJ as Doctor Doom. 😂
Okay 👌, I’m happy for him, if Marvel isn’t going to bring him back, at least let’s see him and Marvel come together to tie up the Kang Citadel and Kang Multiverse War storyline
@@PHAZ3_THE_R3APER you are nonsense
They can't do that in a movie maybe a animated show
RDJ, James Gunn, Johnny Depp, Jonathan Majors. One of these things is not like the others. Which one is different, do you know.
I liked Johnathan Majors. He seems like a great actor. I wish he hadn't gotten into all that legal trouble.
