    Excellent video! You explained the process best, without speaking a single word.

    Awesome video, you make it look easy, the only thing you have is a lift which makes it easier to work with, others have to depend on jackstands, car ramps, but it*s always good to learn more about your car, so you don*t get ripped off, by some mechanics, who just tell you it*s this when it*s not even that part, the way you show how the bushings look after wear & tear, shows how dedicated you are to keep these cars on the road,👍👌

    Awsome video! Made it very clear. Do you recomend Poly bushes? I'm noticing under hard acceleration of my 940, a vibration from the rear diff. 430.xxx km, 200hp and original bushes haha. So it's time to change the old, worn bushes. I am still in doubt if I should replace them with poly or not.. what would you say?

      Thanks! I'm not a big fan of poly bushes because they are just too stiff for me. I would go with Volvo OEM parts.

      @@HeapsofProjects too stiff as in, more vibrations? I just wanted to change the bushings that prevent the axle from twisting under acceleration.. that would be the bushings in the torque rods and the panhard.

      @@ronbeton1999 if just those then polys will be fine. If you are getting vibration under acceleration you can also make sure that your universal joints don't have any play in them and driveshaft support bearing and rubber are ok.

    Hey I am about to do the exact same job on our 91 240 wagon
    question is , i don't have a lift ... can this be done by backing the car onto ramps ? or does it need the weight to be removed from the suspension ?

    • @HeapsofProjects
      @HeapsofProjects  5 років тому +2

      You should be just fine doing it on the ramps, just do them one by one so one would always hold the axle.
