How come you dont like it? Are you from England? Being from Denmark I really liked it back in 2008 because I had never seen anything like it, it was way different compared to my own country and other EU countries i had been in before 2008. Just curious, no hate.
Was there in late 70s. Don't remember much that excited me as opposed to now. May never see it again with my own eyes. The likeness of some is incredible. Couldnt quite catch what u said that you didnt know about the fire of London. Thank you for the tour.
Thanks for such a visual display, Tim! I have been to some good waxworks and some abysmal ones... This was stunning. As a fan of Marvel, I love the realism of the superheroes. Cheers again, Tim ☺👍
Amazing Tour. I have been there 24 years ago and i can remember they had Patrick Steward next to Whoopi Goldberg both really well dressed. Certainly was a wink to the Star Trek Next Generation series without actually having to clear a license. There seems to be a lot more licensed franchises now compared to back then.
I had the idea that it was just a load of wax work figures in a hall. I had no idea there was so much more - what a great video - will definitely visit next time I am near!
I went there as a kid in the 70s. Got my picture taken with the Kojak waxwork and then showed the picture to everyone I knew saying we'd met Tele Savales. "Who loves ya baby " 😁
Very nice tour of Madame Tussauds. So that random woman covering up a severed head at 10:12 was actually meant to be Madame Tussaud herself receiving the head of Marie Antoinette straight from the gulliotine. During the French revolution, the revolutionaries used Tussaud's skills to commemorate their executions by getting her to make wax figures of the nobility they murdered. They nearly executed Madame Tussaud herself but she was released from prison at the 11th hour. After the revolution she left France with one of her sons and came to Britain to exhibit her talent. Just thought to share that bit of history here.
Thank you very much for doin that video. It gave me a great impression. I will travel London in two months so I think, I ll watch more videos of you. The Star Wars section is awesome on Madame Tussauds.
Only just gotten round to watching this video whilst i have covid , only wax works i have ever been to and have pictures somewhere of is the one in yarmouth 🤣🤣, that place looks amazing thankyou for the tour
Went to Madame Tussauds many, many moons ago, the queue to get in to just Madame Tussauds was horrendous, but I purchased a ticket for both Madame Tussauds and the planetarium next door (don't know if that is still there or not?) And there was no queue for that at all, the planetarium was OK, but the models in Madame Tussauds were off the scale, so life-like, the only wax works I had been to before that was the one at Yarmouth, well we are not talking life-like there are we?, Great video Tim 👍
I absolutely loved visiting here, such a long time ago. The only thing the same is the ride & the Queen Victoria figure from my recollection. The figures were so lifelike, and I did take pictures with different figures, and touched them while posing. I think it’s crazy they allow that, but it’s great for the visitors! Loved your Harrods tour & this one too!
I have been in London Madame Tussauds and also Blackpool Madame Tussauds as well. The Blackpool one is a bit different as they is a Strictly come dancing, I'm a Celebrity get me out of here and Coronation Street. there is even a bar inside the Corrie one to make you think your in the Rovers. It is so clever how they make the waxwork, there even a bit where you can get you own waxwork. They look so real and it feels like they are going to move.
Its amazing how they can get the likeness of the stars right on. Would you ever go back if they had new attractions? I heard that there was supposed to be a Titanic exhibit this year or next year. Would you go?
10:00 - This to me is one of the highlights of the museum. Those were made from death masks Madame Toussaud actually created. It’s the way she survived the French Revolution. She was instructed to stand by the guillotine and grab the heads to make death masks right as they were being chopped off. Edit: Marie Antoinette is second to the left, Louis XVI i believe is to the far right, the last one in the lineup.

Any whistle messes with my gristle!
Did you have to queue for a long time to get in? The last time I went, we queued for 3 hours!
No about 30 mins
Made me smile
Glad you enjoyed it
Hello! I am going to this wax museum soon and it is really scary or just a bit scary
lol
Wax museums usually creep me out (kinda like clowns do)but that looks pretty amazing.
yes I can see how they could
Wow I had no idea MT was that big. Galleries of Justice in Nottingham is not a bad visit either if you like your history.
thanks for watching
good video 👍
thanks!
Its amazing how they can get the likeness of the stars right on. Would you ever go back if they had new attractions? I heard that there was supposed to be a Titanic exhibit this year or next year. Would you go?
maybe
Impressive.
Great tour but a lot of copyright music only downside but i think the london one isn't as bad music wise.
yes tell me about it! had to do a lot of editing
@@WalkWithMeTim the blackpool one gave me a massive headache cutting out as much music as possible lol
I need to really go there in the future
you do
Hopefully I will
Hi everyone, how does it take to walk around? Tia
10:00 - This to me is one of the highlights of the museum. Those were made from death masks Madame Toussaud actually created. It’s the way she survived the French Revolution. She was instructed to stand by the guillotine and grab the heads to make death masks right as they were being chopped off.

The Star Wars exhibit seems tomake it worth it for me 😄
