It was really nice listening to your thoughts on ice driving. Too bad you couldn’t take all the stability controls off. Maybe next time :)

Umm... I love ice racing with my AMEC club, among other motorsports. But damn I'd be afraid to run this on the ice. Lol

The problem with getting Hakkapeliittas is that you'll never be able to enjoy other winter tires again!
No other tire out there compares, if a Hakkapeliitta is a 10 the next best tire that isn't from Nokian is a 7.

This doesn’t apply here much but made me realize how many “motor journalists” complain that the car isn’t “spirited” or “fun” to drive. Does it not cross there mind 85% of the people buying these cars will never be in those type of scenarios? Or even care for that, they give a bad rep to these auto manufacturers when in reality the cars aren’t the problem but the journalists who are used or prefer driving exotic cars therefor compare every other car to a sport car or exotic.

9:17 Re: yanking on a handbrake. You wouldn't be able to modulate the rear brakes to control a drift but you likely could get the car to spin by pressing and holding the right stalk button to activate the rear electric "emergency" brake.

Do the Blizzaks come in an EV version? I'm currently running Blizzaks on my WRX wagon and they handle all my winter driving to/from the mountains in CO. Glad to hear the EV tires have better ride, but the decreased range is a concern. 230 miles is just barely enough for me to drive to the farthest I-70 ski resort I visit and back home.

Great video, though I don't think you are actually in the Adirondacks.

Not on topic at all; what brand/ model of sunglasses are those, I could research online for an eternity and not find prescription sunglasses with that type of frame - the ones that block/ dampen the rays of the sun from the sides.

Looks like Bolle to me. I had a pair a long time ago with similar frame.

Disappointing 😞. I bought the car after I saw your old video at Testing grounds

It's not a Roadshow production unless Tim rags on a Tesla.

I'm a Tesla 3LR AWD, and, his critique is spot on. We will not be repeat buyers unless some serious things improve at the company and at the plant.

@@acchaladka I have the exact Model Y, and I am a repeat owner after my MY18 Model X. The brand is clearly getting evolving to be the best in classes. To each their own, I see.
