It's nearly impossible that we get a performance showcasing a player that isn't sickeningly over-done to force excitement - when the excitement is ALREADY in the content shown. So thank you!

Ichika Nito is incredible, if you enjoy him, also give Tim Henson and the guys from Polyphia a watch and listen. They are all on the same level and incredible.
You can understand it. It seems like a lot, and it is, but if you slow it down the harmonic elements are all right there, a lot of pentatonic and arpeggios. It's just the application that is incredibly complex, the theory itself is understandable if you know music. I think this guy is incredible so I hope people don't misunderstand what I am saying. I just mean to say, this music is not unapproachable, you don't need a degree in music theory to understand and even attempt (at a much slower pace) what he is doing.
@@no_nameyouknow well said, if you pay attention to what he's doing he reveals the melody structure when he slows down. Best example is @ the 3:23ish mark. Seems intentional as the song wraps. Incredible player, tho he's applying a lot of methodically practiced tricks. It's definitely a masterclass in presentation that reveals all if you pay attention.
@rycohen22 true but if someone wants to learn how to play this song, which I do, it's going to be hard to stay in time when putting on/off a capo in between transitions, especially if it's "live"
@@GuitarKAByou can do it with a pedal or processing otherwise in his fx chain to transpose in real time via fx. i'm sure that's what he'll do in a live situation too as it is a common feature

Heh yeah about that…I’m just saying I listened to it at .75 speed which made the hand movement more realistic and it still sounded amazing and still quite fast in parts. I want to hear it at recording tempo and I think .75 gets me close. Still amazing! A lovely composition.
