They are super overpriced and that's an issue. It's almost unethical how expensive LMNT and Liquid IV are. I bought once to try formula and will make myself from here on. A month supply should like $5 not $30. I don't mind paying a little extra for pre-made but it's wayyyyyyyy to far off a fair price. Sorry LMNT

LMNT is great, especially the flavored ones as mentioned. I just wish they had the option of a bulk bag with a scoop measured for average sized water bottles. I personally found this recipe really confusing. Switching between grams, teaspoons, and cups just blows my mind. I spent half an hour sorting out the recipe. I came to the conclusion that your recipe should have weighed 181.44 grams. I looked at the LMNT packages on their website and concluded that 50 servings would have 50 grams salt, 10 grams potassium, and 3 grams magnesium. This is where we have a nice round number for milligrams for each of the 3 minerals. The homemade recipe is much cheaper. You go from $1.30 to $0.07 per serving. The only difference is that you lose 4.72 grams of citric acid, stevia leaf extract, and natural flavours.

Well it has a form of magnesium in it which when you’re not used to it can act like a laxative.. usually requires you to reduce the amount to a level that doesn’t bother you and then only gradually increase it.

    What about calcium?
And the electrolyte I bought has the following amount in one scoop it has. And you mix that with one cup of water. I drink 3 cups so 3 scoopful. There seem to be dietary guideline as to how much a person should have/drink or whatever.
    Magnesium 60 mg
    Potassium 500 mg
    Sodium 5 mg
    Chloride 9 mg
ConcenTrace, also called trace mineral complex. 50 mg.
    Calcium 38 mg.
Does your set up provide all that. I suppose I can just add some Himalayan pink salt to mine to make up for the difference.

Thank you for bringing this information to our attention. I think the plain with no flavor recipe is awesome. I do have one question are you concerned at all with the natural flavors that are appearing and popping up in just about everything in any given grocery store? Even the healthy things like this product contains natural flavors that are produced with many different chemicals. I'm also concerned because this is a billion dollar business if not more. Anything producing that amount of wealth is suspicious to me. Also since they are fairly new to the industry we don't yet know the possible side effects I mean I don't think any testing has been done. Thank you.
