Great video but you should mention that when you die you CAN get all of your loot back by going back to the place you died (marked on your map) and reclaim it from the boot of your destroyed vehicle. Before you set off though, you should use the dump as it’ll give you loads of vehicle parts to help you fix your vehicle up ready to go to get your loot👍
Extra tip: you can paint you headlights. If you paint them white, you can see better at night but seeing while it's foggy will be hard. If you wanna see in the fog, don't paint them or paint them yellow
A quick warning on the Emergency Teleport - it can get you out of a jam if you flip your car, and sometimes is quite important, but it'll take a pretty big chunk of your battery power in exchange.
Great tips, thank you! You can pick up the Cargo Trunk and while it's in your hands, interact with the storages in your car or your lockers. You can transfer easier with the transfer all key like that, without putting down the cargo trunk.
I'm about 2 hours in at the garage. NO idea what I'm doing yet and I watched your vids. So much info that's ahead of me for now I think. Subbed cos u made this Scouser laugh as well as very informed for when I come to these bridges. I'll come back and watch again as things click. I feel like the game doesn't tell you anything which is fine cos I can read and intuit. Like I say though, only just begun this journey which I think I'm gonna love. The lore of an abandoned car is music to my ears lol
Thanks for explaining the anchor part. I was wondering why people didn't trigger those when they were close to the exit point, but now I understand it. The quirks system is a weird way to randomize the game, and forces you to pay attention to the car. I am planning on starting my first run after I get home.
7:00 Abductors chase and drag-around flares, so the flare gun has a lot of utility not as a light source but as an “OH SHI-“ button when three abductors are bearing-down on your car. (Yes, exactly that happened to me.)
@@timesausages Bunnies can also be thrown at Abductors! One streamer I watched managed to hit one with a Bunny and it just floated off straight up into the sky. There is a note in the Patch Notes that Abductors are currently obsessed with Bunnies, but they plan on fixing it at some point.
You will find the tube like vacuum delivery thing where you get your schematics out in the world as well. They often have paint and other fun items in them. At first I didn’t know they had anything. But they are like a chest out in the world. Often great stuff in it.
This game is so good, when I started it for the first time I basically sat down and played it for 8 hours straight. The only problem I have is that a lot of things are confusing or unclear. It's nice to see how many things have improved now, on the PC version at least there are a lot of changes that make it better.
Although probably considered cheating to most people. You can save scrub to get infinite electronics, plastic, batteries, copper wire, or glass shards from the radio and computer outside the auto shop. The car will only respawn parts after a trip, but the computer and radio respawn after every load.
Just so everybody knows 1. You can pick up what you lost off your destroyed car if you go back to it afterwards. 2. Purple care packages drop out of the sky into the yellow storm sometimes (theyre are LOADED with loot. 3. You can paint your headlights whatever color you want. (Ive only tried this on the bio headlights) 4. You can survive the red storm for an hour if you have enough medkits and will to survive. 5. Offroad tires are best.
If you stay where the lights are green and don’t move in. I don’t believe the zone activates. So you are safe and clock doesn’t start until the gate turns red as you enter the new zone. Just a hint if you want to review the zone before heading in and plan.
Tip: Don't let your gear break all the way. Instead, toss it in the recycler when it's low and you'll get most of the mats back, then craft a new piece.
3:19 Well, you can flip it by kicking it and you also get an achievement for doing it too lol To get the ball in the hoop just throw it without too much force, you don't need your force maxed out, 2 bars should be enough.
If you die in the zones you can travel back it will have a tombstone where you died and you can grab some or all of your stuff im not sure wich part but at least some stuff
Another tip for storage… if you have a ton of items on the ground in your garage there is a vacuum in the room with the fabrication station. Just turn it on and it sucks all the loot from the floor into the inventory of the vacuum. And so far that inventory for the vacuum doesn’t look like is has a limit, atleast not yet in my play through
About the basketball hoop….my basketball rolled out the door behind the hoop ON MY FIRST THROW!!! ….and I haven’t found it since! Could anyone tell me how to get it back??? Please and thank you
Its about from 30 to 50 minutes depends on where you are. First i woud do collect enought ancars to be ready to get out. And then loot. When you hear big siren then its about time to hit exit.
Yes it does differ, and there are some zones marked with Perpetual Stability too which seems to indicate there is no siren or storm - but I'd need to check this further.
@@timesausagesoh after game lounch i allready played like 10 hours. And yeah i was in one place waiting for siren. Newer heard of it. So i looted till i cant hold anymore and left. But this place haved alot of radiation.
You don't get an exact time, but in the upper right of the Zone Map, when you choose a zone, look at the bar next to the clock icon. If the zone isn't in Perpetual Stability, that bar will usually say something like Low, Medium, or High, giving you a general idea of how much time you'll have allowed in that zone before you get the siren.
I just realized today you can take the tapes / files you collect along the way and break them down in the matter deconstructor and you get tons of fiber and goodies!
I had following two situations: 1. - My fuel was empty. No Gas-Stations on the map and the wrecks were empty too. So... I had to abort the mission. 2. - My car was damaged as hell. I had not enough chemicals for repairing-kits. So I craften new parts, but this can't be the solution on the long run... Any tips?
The car comes with a fuel can in the back, up on the left side of it near the roof, it should have a fair bit of fuel, providing you filled it up and kept it full, filling it is part of the tutorial from what I remember, you can also make bigger/other fuel cans, which if you are having fuel issues may be worth while researching and making, then making sure to fill/refill them every time you return to the garage. One of the items you can research is a machine that will over time, repair parts put into it, you could craft in effect two sets of each parts, keep one set in storage, when one panel gets too damaged switch out for the new one, then place the damaged item in the machine to be repaired, from what I remember seeing in other guides the friendly dumpster tends to throw out stuff you actually need, so the next time you use it, it may well chuck out chemicals or repair putty.
What I usually do is if a tool is running low on durability, once you have a garage item called the matter deconstructor, pop the tool in the deconstructor and it'll give you some of the materials back. You can then use those materials plus some of your own to make a new tool of that type.
you can distract angry abductors by throwing flares. They'll bring them back to you so you can play a game of fetch if you have the time and inclination
For real, almost none of these are actual tips, you are just listing off basic game mechanics that are obvious or even explicitly explained during the tutorial. What a waste of time.
at night this game is bullshit couldn't they make it harder every corner no joke every corner i cant get to the 2nd mission ffs also you can make nights go faster in time in settings its still slow but a bit faster im not going back out there at night till i upgrade shit on my car i dont know if im the unluckily ones but man this game doesn't mess around at night. also when you die or sent back to ur garage yes u lose some or all ur stuff but in settings u can turn it of and still get trophies ive just turned it off i wona enjoy the game not die every time at night day time im fine but night i cant stress enough how stupidity hard it is and ive played hard games but this one is bad because you really cant go that much off-road to get around something because theres a hill almost every single time and if not a hill something way worse that will destroy your car also them big storms that blow your car around just turn car off and handbrake on and not much will happen to u but yeah like i said maybe ive had the worst luck in the 4hrs out of the 7 ive played at night but i cant get around how much times i got warped back to my garage for some bull happening at night

you just saved me like an hour lol thank you

or u can turn off that and keep all stuff when u die ( I think ).
Good tip! You can also turn off ‘lose gear on death’ in the options without affecting achievements

One of the bunnies got attached to the car and I went to the abductor. It took the bunnies off the car.
If you hold the cargo trunk in your hands as you access the boxes in your trunk you can move everything over without having to use the backpack.

The fax machine is a storage space for all the logs, audio tapes, and lore stuff you get, that way they don't take up locker or inventory space.

hi where to find and how to use cosmetic in pacific drive? like the steering wheel?
After unlocking the detailing station you can find paint cans and decals and the like by scavenging.
Green bunny’s grab them and throw them on your car. The tumbleweed like critter. Not everything tries to kill you.

lol just noticed the stars n planets on the car, cool
How or when can we get it?
It releases today - 22nd Feb - Midnight in your timezone.
Is it possible to repair tools?
There is a device called a matter regenerator that you can use to repair doors and panels - I shall test it to see if it repairs tools!
It's not. I tested it. Only car body parts, no tools.
What I usually do is if a tool is running low on durability, once you have a garage item called the matter deconstructor, pop the tool in the deconstructor and it'll give you some of the materials back. You can then use those materials plus some of your own to make a new tool of that type.
